It was a solid experience. I'll definitely call them next time. They were the first to call me back, within a couple hours. They quickly setup an appointment that fit my schedule. They called beforehand and arrived on time. They were professional, effective, and efficient.

Geauga door responded within hours to my call to assess my broken garage door and opener. They advised several different options, from repair to replacing the old door with a whole new system. I chose the new (double) garage door and the new lift master. The technicians arrived the following day to complete the work. I couldn't be happier with the results. Would highly recommend to anyone needing repair work done or a whole new garage door system.

My garage door broke on a Monday. I called on a Tuesday morning, and they had someone out by lunchtime to take a look and diagnose. As promised I had an estimate by the afternoon, and upon me accepting the quote, had a tech scheduled to come out the very next day. They called before they came out and took care of the repair. I was amazed at the professionalism of everyone I dealt with. Couldn't have went any smoother. Would recommend to anyone and would certainly use this company again. Can't thank them enough for the great service.

I called in the morning, and the technician arrived in the early afternoon.. The problem was fixed in about an hour. We are very pleased with the entire experience.

They installed both my door and opener while I was at work. My new door looks awesome and my new opener is extremely quiet! They did a great job cleaning up as well.

Overall, the job went fairly well. They arrived as scheduled and knew exactly what needed to be done. The job took slightly less time than what they had estimated. When the install was complete, they had me look over everything to make sure it met my expectations. They also showed me the basics of operation, but left everything else for me to read and review. The issues that I had with the company (which resulted in a B rating) is that there were a number of scratches on the garage doors that I found when looking them over after the install. They said that it was probably from the manufacturer and they arrived that way. I find that really hard to believe when almost every door panel had a scratch on it and I noticed that they didn't put anything down (a soft, padded material of some sort) on the sawhorses that they used to put the panels on. Their solution was to touch it up with some paint and note it on the warranty paperwork. Another issue is that one of the panels was dented. This one they did request that the manufacturer replace and this was completed successfully. The final issue that I had was that in less than 6 months, 1 of the panels ended up getting rust on it... once again, they touched it up with paint. So we'll see how well everything holds up. The doors are beautiful and make a big difference from a curb appeal perspective, but I think the Geauga Doors could have been more careful with the install to ensure no scratching of the products.

The installation went very well and only took 1-1/2 hours. The installer was very knowledgeable and worked quickly through the job, explaining exactly what he was doing. After the installation was complete, the installer provided excellent training on system operation and safety details. The installer removed all of the old equipment and all packaging from the new opener.

Crew arrived when scheduled, proceeded to check out all components, identified & replaced the 2 rollers that were wearing out (I had already determined that some would have to be replaced, based on the noise being made when the door tracked up & down, so that was no surprise), lubricated remaining components. Very professional.

I contacted Geauga Door because my very old Genie garage door opener stopped working. Before scheduling to have it replaced, he carefully told me how to check my sensors and realign them. If that didn't work, I was to call back and schedule for a replacement. It worked !! Thank you Geauga Door for not taking advantage of someone who obviously doesn't know much about openers. They saved me a costly replacement expense right before Christmas!!!

They were very prompt and responsive to our call. He fixed it once he was here within an hour and a half. He was very quick. We were very pleased with his service. He was here the next day which I think was very fast. He was very punctual. It was like a short quick thing.

1st problem. When I called about a week in advance to arrange for them to work on the garage door they said it would possibly be on the following Wednesday. I told them they would need to call before since I did not know my wife's schedule for the week and did not know when she would be available. So they didn't call in advance and basically called on Wednesday saying they were coming. My wife had meetings that day and was not available until late afternoon and they acted like it was her mistake. 2nd problem. The main reason I had them come out to work on the door was to replace the springs. The springs are 18 years old and severely rusted. I had told them when I set up the vist I wanted the springs replaced. When they arrived my went over the list of things we wanted done before they started including replacing the springs. When the technician finished the job he told my wife they didn't replace the springs because he didn't feel they needed to be replaced. She reitierated that we wanted them replaced and he basically told my wife she didn't know what she needed.

When I called them the first time, they came out right away. John Murray, the representative, offered me an array of options and prices. Once we agreed on an door, he went back to his office and e-mailed me a quote with the final price. I approved it. In less than a week, they came and installed the new door. They were prompt, professional, and courteous. I recommend them highly

They were super prompt, came within 24 hrs of calling. Spotted a couple of other problems while they were there for the service and performed the work. I wish I'd called earlier, for the price and the speed, they probably can't be beaten.

8-26-2014 both garage door cables broke. Our door is 34 years old. Called and spoke with Rich and reviewed our problem. We were able to get our garage door closed for the night. Mentioned we might replace garage door opener and/or garage door as both 34 years old. He stated that who he will send out in the a.m., will review all the options after checking our garage door. He stated that they will not replace anything unless it is needed. "Let a sleeping dog lie". I appreciate an honest business who is not out to sell you what you do not need. Ron came out first thing in the morning after calling that he was on his way. We discussed all our options. Our door is fine for now, he put in 2 new cables and only replaced the 2 bottom brackets on our garage door that were damaged. He also fixed the left side of our track as it was "tight". Geauga Door told me yesterday what the products were that they put in and what the cost would be. I had time to research them before having them installed. We decided on a new garage door opener and Ron had brought the specific one. He r/v options for the garage door and gave us pamphlets to r/v. We will go to their showroom soon and most likely decide on a new garage door. The total costs of all that they had done was comparable to other companies prices, if not slightly less expensive. Ron explained all our questions thoroughly and professionally. I am very pleased with their service and will use them in the future.

They arrived even before I expected them. (I did make them aware they were supposed to call first; possible no one could have been available to open door). They came in, moved things in garage to make room to work. Everything was returned to where it had been & cleaned up so well, there was no evidence of them having been there. The new door is extremely quiet to operate & beautiful. The windows near the top was a good idea. Lets light in, without letting everyone look inside. From beginning to end, they were prompt & courteous and I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone else looking for a new garage door. (We had got 3 estimates-they were right in the middle). I chose them based on their rating and the polite & prompt manner they conduct business.

We were very please with the entire operation, from estimate through finished work. The workers came when they were expected, worked quickly and professionally, and took away the old garage door and operators. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I've been manually opening my garage door since the opener broke back in December and I finally got tired of the heavy lifting. After researching a few companies on Angie's List, I picked Geauga Door because of their good reviews and free estimate offer (one of the national companies I called said they didn't do free estimates but would take the service call price off any repair more than $100). I called Friday afternoon, 02/7 and, since it wasn't an emergency, agreed on a Monday 02/10 service call. I explained I wouldn't be home but they had no problem with that as it's a separate garage with a people door. I left an opener and a note tucked in the door. I got a call about 11:00 on Monday indicating that they were on the way and would call with an estimate. About 45 minutes later, they called back - turned out to be a simple repair of a gear assemble, part and labor totaling $185. Since the unit was a Craftsman that had been there as long as I have owned the house (12 years) and Sears had said I needed to replace ($170) and install (another $200) a whole new unit, I was very pleased. Geauga Door didn't try to sell me a new unit and it's realy nice to push a button again to open the garage. I would definitely use Geauga Door again - thanks!
