They put in windows with finger print on inside of window with no way to clean promised to replace never did I have snow and ice on the inside of my windows these windows allowed cold air to blow right in my heating bills have increased and the company never fulfills promises or warranties.

The did a great job and we have no complaints about the windows. I would recommend them to our friends.

So badly we will never even allow them on our property to actually do any work. Salesperson was rude, high pressure, bullying. He would not even give us a straight answer on the actual cost for the work we wanted done. When we refused to sign phony survey forms and accept a quote to do 10 times more work than we wanted done, the salesperson had a temper tantrum and stomped out.

Installation was done on a wet rainy day. Came 10 o'clock in the morning and worked till 6pm that night to get the job done. How we got the window s is a Quillen window salesman came to our door and asking us how they should spend their advertising dollars.??!???!?!? Wife told him some very simply answer and told him how our patio door leaked and bowed in the middle leaving in cold air over the past few years. So we had the saleman come in and see the problem after several other times that worker or representative came out and replaced the door several times and still did not fix the problem. So we told the salesman of our problem with their plastic patio door product and had the door fixed with a new one ordered by the owner of Quillen Window....ie; Mr. Quillen. Plus during installation .. the workers knocked over the cat food dish outside and did not clean that up either during installation. The rain washed that away the next day. The wooden molding was installed around the window without clauking the holes either. Probably for it was too late and wanted to get home. The saleman told us that it would take 3 hours to install the windows and we told the worker that and just laughed for it for it took all day long to install. So now we have been given a good deal on the room with 2 leaking windows made by Anderson Window with plastic on them that we put on every year to keep out the cold air. First quote 3 years or so ago was quoted $5000 and now the quote for the window is $3700 so we bought the windows. Did not like the tachic that the saleman used saying that we could get finanacing through a uptown bank at 3% so I tried that and 2 banks said that there were no rates that cheap to get financing at that rate. We got in the mail a Wells Fargo credit card rate at 12% hopefully it is locked in. Rates we given after 3 days up so it was locked in rate whatever came in the mail and the saleman did not know any rates for his financier!! Now we have had installed 2 new windows from Quillen and have leaks at the bottom of the window with moisture on very cold days. We have since called Quillen Window 2 times a month ago and have not heard from them. So we got in touch with the saleman Kurt Wise and he answered the call and was in a truck at the time and said he would look into the problem. Have not heard from him since that call 3 weeks ago. STILL HAVE LEAKING QUILLEN EXPENSIVE WINDOWS. !!Plus we called on the patio door since it leaks at the bottom of the door needing clauking at a seam plus there is moisture at the top on the door outside during cold days and will be looking for mold to visit us some day probably around spring time.

My wife and I had Quillen Bros come out on 3/25 to provide a quote on replacing 10 windows. Here are my thoughts regarding their visit. 1) The first thing that comes to mind is that they were at our house for 2 hours. This could have easily been taken down to one hour or less. Instead, we had to hear how wonderful their windows were, how cheap other windows were, how great their warranty is, how their BBB is ranking is, how much the windows would save us, national averages, etc, etc. This was a waste of our time. They should have just came in, measured, went over the selections, and provided a quote. In and out in 45mins. 2) The BBB ranking they provided was last printed out in 2012 and it had a perfect rating with no complaints. They said they “pride themselves” on that ranking. Well after they leave, I checked their ranking and there have been two complaints within 2 years. Shocking that they “forgot” to print out a new copy of the report. 3) After the 2 hour presentation, we finally got to the cost and the initial cost for 10 windows was just over $11,000. We were told that a “time sensitive” deal could be given to us and everything could be done for $9200. This deal was only available that night and could not be extended. I find it hilarious that this deal was supposed to entice my wife and I on signing a contract right then and there. They expected us to tell them that we were going with them without hesitation. I told him they were the first company to come out and quote windows and I wasn’t about to go with the first company that came out. They found this shocking and couldn’t believe I would actually want to compare shop. How horrible of me to want to get other opinions!! 4) The two gentleman that came to the house never left any cards for us to contact them. The one guy said he was the Marketing Manager but yet if I go to Quillen’s website, there’s a guy, who is definitely not the one that came to our house, listed as the Marketing Manager. I find this very suspicious/shady. 5) They left absolutely no paperwork with us regarding the prices they quoted. It’s like they pouted because my wife and I wanted to shop around and they took all of their toys and went home. Horrible professionalism! 6) They asked us to disclose our salary, mortgage, debt, etc and without thinking, we gave them this information. Looking back, it is none of their business what my wife and I make and what debt we have. If I had a chance to answer these questions again, I would tell them it was none of their business and it has nothing to do with our window purchase/quote. I know what we can and can’t afford so I don’t need someone who doesn’t know our finances telling me this. 7) I find it very comical when they asked what we thought a fair monthly payment would be for the windows(we said $200) and it just so happened that his number was around $200. If I would have said $100, would we have received an even bigger discount? Speaking of discounts, we were repeatedly told that we were in a prime location for marketing. Well if we were in such a prime location, you would think we would have been offered an even bigger discount and we would have been given all of the time in the world to make our decision. With all of this being said, my wife and I will be gathering two or three other quotes and will then be making our decision. Quite honestly, if we were told we could have a week or two to discuss this major purchase and still benefit from the “time sensitive” promotion, there’s a good chance we would have went with Quillen. But since that wasn’t an option, we have completely ruled them out. Maybe next time you send someone to provide a quote, you won’t take up two hours of the homeowner’s time, have up-to-date documentation, and not find it shocking when they don’t want to commit to a $9000-$11,000 purchase without thinking about it.

SalesThe Sales Person Demonstrated A Heat Lamp Resonated Through My Own And Different Levels Of Windows. The sales person was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would have purchased from them if the price difference had not been so great.

I made contact with Quillen Brothers at a home improvement show. I left my name for a free estimate. They contacted me and sent out a salesman. The salesman was very well prepared and knowledgeable. No pushy sales pitch whatsoever, which I very much appreciated. I was impressed that Quillen Brothers installers work for the company and are not subcontractors. They also make their own product and fabricate onsite- Also a plus in my mind. They only requested a % down. The installer/ scheduler called and set a date and delivery date for materials. Because of ongoing bad weather, he called me back a week ahead of time and asked if we could reschedule. No problem since they were willing to work around my schedule. The materials showed up a day ahead of time, the installers arrived right on time the next day, and the installation went very well. The new gutters looked great. They cleaned everything up and left no debris behind. They had a very polite installation crew. Before the crew left, their supervisor called to make sure I was happy with the work. I would hire Quillen again in a heartbeat!
