Tivadar and his helper sided a dormer and a bump out in my dining room that had stucco on them. The roofers had removed the stucco on the dormer while doing roof work. The wood under the stucco was rotted, so they had to rebuild parts of it. The roofer recommended Tivadar to do the siding and the other jobs that I needed done. I live near the lake, and my older home had some rotted wood exterior boards that needed replacing. I asked for the PVC wood, to keep from future rot. They did a great job with the siding and the replacement exterior veneer around the entrance and garage door. Their attention to details, calking all places where materials meet, to prevent water penetration and trim was great. They were very professional. They cleaned up after themselves every day.

Tivador Lukacs of Q E C had done some work in my house when he was a sub for the Sandman Hardwood Floors installation (see review). Sandman had him put in the hardwood staircase. I was impressed with Tivador's workmanship on this project so asked him for a quote on tiling my bathroom floor. Well, to make a long story short, my wife and I decided to just entirely redo the bathroom! One thing about Tivador, and this is something I think is telling about a true craftsman, he keeps his truck and tools in an extremely clean and orderly condition. Do you really want to hire someone to do a bunch of work in your house who does not even keep his own equipment in good repair? Tivador and his helper work deliberately and carefully. He does not work carelessly. Sometimes it seems that he is working a bit slowly, but that is great because you know it is going to be done right. He showed up on time, was extremely polite, finished in a reasonable timeframe, cleaned up every night and did a wonderful job. His billing was detailed and correct. I gave him a B rating for pricing because he was not the lowest estimate that we got, but you get what you pay for and with Tivador you are getting high quality for a fair price. Tivador completed his work basically when he said he would, but the project took longer than expected because of the countertop ordering, fabrication and installation time lag as well as the glass shower door measuring, fabrication and installation. Both of these components were purchased and installed from third parties as is typical. Unfortunately, some of what Tivador needed to do was delayed due to the time it took to get these components installed. We are very pleased with the final product and will post some pictures once the final shower door install is complete by Castle Glass in Bedford Ohio.

He is a very good craftsman and can remodel and fix just about anything. I almost want to keep him a secret but he deserves the compliment here. He is capable of doing any job and very wonderful to work with. He's so very polite and helpful and when he's working he's very neat and clean. We had another contractor here doing work and they did damage to an area that left me in tears. This gentleman came to the rescue that same day and I don't know how he repaired the damage but he did and did it beautifully. He's very trustworthy, unobtrusive, kind and considerate.
