Monarch Carpet One Floor & Home

EXCELLENT! Provided great information and selection, Allowed samples to be taken home. Best installers around! Adjusted installation date to fit my schedule. Previously had used them for kitchen floor -- they did such a great job I did not consider anyone else for this one.

The sales rep (Lou) was very supportive. We were looking for a specific brand of flooring (Verostone) that is only available at Armstrong Carpet One stores. He helped us with samples to evaluate in home. He also patiently supported us in our deliberations on the flooring including color selections and installation method. The price was competitive. The work team was very much a refreshing change. Dave Jeffers did excellent work and treated our home and belongings with extreme care. The work crew was on time and polite. We are very happy with their work.

After shopping around at a couple of other flooring outlets it was refreshing to go into Monarch and have them understand what I wanted to do. I was getting my house ready to list for sale. Monarch understood I wanted to do things simple. The other flooring people wanted to got through samples and do room with different carpet. Same problem with kitchen and dining room, I wanted just one type of flooring through the kitchen, dining room and foyer. With the carpeting, I wanted something neutral through all the rooms except the kitchen and dining room. Monarch gave me two choices of carpeting they put in most new homes. They took care of matching the wood grain flooring. They showed up on agreed upon time and did the work in the agreed time frame. The flooring looked great through out and all the workmen and salespeople were polite and professional.

Due to water damage from our dishwasher, we had to have our kitchen floor replaced. We did our due diligence and shopped around, and Monarch Carpet One offered the best quote as well as turnaround on getting our floors installed. Everyone was extremely nice and courteous to work with and answered all of our questions. Glenn did a great job installing our tile and we could not be more happy! The tile is exactly what we had envisioned and was installed beautifully.

This provider was recommended by my sister who had an excellent experience replacing her floors with vinyl two weeks before I did. My experience with Monarch was wonderful and my floors are beautiful. The people in the showroom gave me samples to take home and came out promptly to my home to do the measurements and give me a quote. Since I thought the price was good for what I was receiving, I went ahead with the project. Dave is the vinyl installer for Monarch and there are not enough superlatives to describe his craftsmanship. He has been installing vinyl for them for 30+ years. It was a pleasure having him in my home for the 3 day installation. He has a pleasant personality and a very efficient worker as well as being fastidious. Dave also had respect for my property which I appreciate and he was punctual in arriving and began work immediately. He advised me as to the best procedure for installation which meant removing the old tiles and applying shoe molding and this insured a quality result. One issue that came up was a corroded water hose attached to my washing machine. Dave pointed this out to me and I went and purchased 2 new ones preventing a leak. I do not know if another installer would have addressed this out but it sure allevieated a problem down the road. The owners of Monarch did tell me that they are lucky to have Dave as the vinyl installer and I couldn't agree more.

The whole experience was wonderful. The showroom consultants were very helpful in helping us pick out the style of tile we wanted. We were able to take home 3 full size samples to pick the one that worked best in both rooms. Then the consultant came out and measured and took the tiles so we didn't have to return them to the store. He called with an estimate the next day. The tiles were installed 3 weeks later. The installer was very good. He made sure nothing in the house was harmed while removing or installing the tiles. He also did the staining and installation of the 1/4 round and did a fantastic job He was quiet and only called out to us when he needed a decision about the position of the tile of to let us know when not to walk on the areas. I would definitely hire them again when we get additional flooring or carpet done.

It was very good. They did everything we asked. It took a couple of days, which we knew it would. They cleaned up after themselves completely. We had one problem. Where my chair sat, apparently there was a soft spot on the floor and it made a hole. Within two days the guy was out, took the old one out and put a new one in. They came on schedule.

They are fantastic. We've used them twice. We did remnant carpeting. We were carpeting a new house. They kept letting us put things on hold. We kept seeing a remnant that we liked more and they would let us swap it out. Their customer service was awesome. They only made us deposit $100 for $5,000 worth of carpet. It was pretty awesome. The installer was fantastic and we couldn't complain about the scheduling. We used them in our old house as well and we would be happy to recommend them. It was 223 square feet of carpet installed for $5,000. We had no complaints at all.

This project took three days - one day to remove flooring and a return a couple of weeks later after other kitchen work was completed to lay the new flooring. That took two days as the tile was laid one day and then grounted the next. Workmen were prompt in arriving, very professional in their work, cleaned up everything and hauled the old flooring and underlayment away. The personnel at the store were very helpful and did not pressure me to buy. I would definitely use them again.

Everything about the overall experience was good including the price. They would not negotiate on price. The completed the job within the time frame they promised. However, scheduling the job took a lot of followup with Jeff.

I walked in and was ignored for about 10 minutes. I didn't try to get any one's attention because I am a very patient person. The woman that waited on me was extremely snotty when she discovered I was looking for carpeting for a Family Room. I found her suggestions to be not helpful and the prices were much higher than other places I had looked. I would never bother going to this store for any future flooring needs.

Monarch's store is easy to find. Selection and presentation of sheet flooring is excellent. Monarch staff was helpful and not and quot;too helpful (pushy, overbearing)and quot;. If the contractor we choose has a very good relationship with Monarch (price, service, installation punctuality) we will select our flooring from Monarch.

Things went very well. They did a nice job. They worked the whole time they were here. Everything looks great. They cleaned up after themselves. Everything was fine.

Jeff came out right on time for the measurement. I asked him to be around a specific time because I had a few company's coming out the same day. Jeff measured with a tape measure versus another company with a laser. Monarch came in about 55sq ft more; which at $2.50 install is $137. He brushed it off like that is nothing but that is just about what sales tax is on the overall price. Might not sound much but this is a new house we just bought and money is tight with projects, but we still went with him being he measured more. We mentioned to him that I am able to get one day off and that is very hard for me to do at work. He said that it can be installed on that day no problem (about 2 weeks before install day). No mention that it will take 2 days.... about a week away we get a call to set up an install day from a woman with the company; mentioned that we talked to Jeff and we need it installed on the 28th. Looked it up and no problem. That is when I first heard that it might take 2 days. I told her I don't have 2 days and she said they might be able to finish. Install Day!! Installer shows up at 9:45am (30 min drive according to Google). Just one install with and quot;newand quot; guy learning how to install. Every hour there was a 15-20min smoke break. Jeff (sales) said that they break while glue is setting up for the padding. I'm not sure why they couldn't be nailing down tack strips in another room or some other part of the project while glue is setting. But the breaks continued every house until it was time to leave at 3:30 pm. They finished the great room and that was it. nothing else was nailed down or padding laid or anything. I mentioned to the installer that I only have this one day; he said he is not working the other 6 hours it will take to finish job and wants to go home. Wants to come back tomorrow. I refused to leave my house keys and I don't have anyone to come let them in till after 1pm. After some talk with Jeff, he was able to get the installer to come back with another professional and finish the job in 2 hours time ... not 6 hours like mentioned. After everything was done, I would think you would like your product to look great when done before leaving. I have a 2 yr old and a 8month old that I let play in the new basement when they left. Little did I know; they didn't vacuum or check for any debris. Found pieces of tack strip left behind and filled my vacuum 2 times with just carpet burs. Overall: we liked the product and sales was very helpful and reasonable. It all lays on the installation and that seems to have failed. They guy said he was working slow to show the new guy, but at my cost. I chose this company based on the reviews off of Angie's list and the carpet product. ....Won't be back

Monarch was very professional. They came in and moved the entertainment center, putting it on skids so they would not tear up other flooring, and took out the old carpeting. They tucked in the new carpet and stretched it out, leaving no wrinkles. I am very pleased with the service.

We liked that when we went in they had a huge selection of remnants to choose from, and that made the job cheaper. The guy that came and installed the carpets was very, very nice, and knew what he was doing. We decided that whenever we get any flooring or carpet, we will only buy it from them again. We are very satisfied with the job.

They are an honest company and they stand behind their products. .

I contacted Monarch Carpet about repairs and they took my info and said they would have installer/repairer call me. Ed called me either that day or early the next day so fairly prompt. We setup an initial appointment to come see the issue and then was able to setup an install appt easily and promptly. Again thanks Ed for your professionalism, promptness, and workmanship.

They were punctual for the job, and everything was spotless when they left. They are a family owned business, and are very friendly. They hauled away all the junk and there was nothing left. I would highly recommend them, because they will work with you in anything that you need.

The salesman was very helpful and allowed me to take several samples home at no charge. The person who did the measurements was punctual and professional. The installer was so great that I actually called Monarch to have them pass on the compliment. He arrived right on time and did an excellent job with the installation. I was surprised at the turnaround for installation since it was around the holidays. I will definitely use Monarch for future needs.

Their work was perfect as alway. Kathy, the salesperson was very helpful in helping us find the right carpet at the right price. Matt, the installer does a beautiful job and is very professional. Kathy and Matt are the same people we have dealt with for the past 20 yrs.!!! Something to be said for experience!

I was very pleased with all aspects of the job they did. From coming out to look and bringing samples of what we wanted to the scheduling and doing what they were supposed to do.
