Description of Work: Insulated walls of 1550 sq. ft. house (attic previously done). They finished in one day, asked questions when appropriate, and cleaned up nicely. They found insulation in a few places already and adjusted their charges downward in accordance with that. Professional, responsive and easy to work with.

Description of Work: All of the crawl spaces upstairs were insulated and the access doors covered in foam to keep out any draft. Small holes drilled in upstairs bathroom to insulate bedroom below. All in all, a very thorough job. Very pleased and will not hesitate to recommend ABC Insulation.

Description of Work: ABC Insulation insulated all outside walls in between every joist and complete floors and ceiling in our attic. They did a fantastic job and their price was at least $400 lower than two other competitors, ( both are Angie's List vendors). Both non-used vendors wanted to quote me $450 to install attic gable vents which I already have. ABC installed louvers in each attic joist to improve air flow, which is the proper way. These were included in the $3206 price. The other two suppliers had no plans to install louvers. |I would recommend ABC any time. |P.S. Steve also allowed me to pay whatever I could afford after he completed all the work, as long as I paid $800 at completion so he could pay his employees. He agreed to this as long as I paid something every month. He completed the work on 4/1/14. I made payments every two weeks, with the last payment on May 16th.

Description of Work: i was expecting what the ad said and it was deceiving. I wanted the $200 insulation for $69. They came out gave me a estimate of over $2000 and got nothing. They did not give me what i ask for. I got cheated $69.oo

Description of Work: Purchased the $49 home survey. Steve the owner responded quickly and assessed my home. He was not pushy and even suggested several things that I could do myself. I then hired them for attic insulation and wall insulation. I think they did a very good overall job adding insulation to the attic and then blowing insulation in the walls and above my living, dining, and kitchen area. I have noticed that the house is more comfortable and quieter. Steve treated me fairly with any small problems that arose. I would definately use again and recommend them.

Description of Work: ABC Insulation installed insulation over knob and tube wiring which should not happen. It is a fire hazard. We are now contracting an electrician to rewire the 2nd floor, replacing the 1940s knob and tube wiring. ABC Insulation gets a C for the work and an F for not advising against the installation of insulation over knob and tube wiring.
