Chris Toth and his painters were very good. They were on time and worked diligently all day. They cleaned up each day after they were done. The job took 8 days because of the amount of work to be done. They were polite and friendly. They updated us daily on what was being done.

From the initial visit for estimate through completion, Kris Toth and his crew were a delight to work with. We needed some ceiling repair after plumbing leaks and water leaks, in 2 different rooms. One room had a wallpaper-type covering on the ceiling and we had no idea of what might be underneath. The crew was patient and flexible as it turned out we needed the plumber to come in and fix the upstairs leak, which was noticed by the painter. We also had a slight problem with mold, but after investigation they determined it was just in a small spot. So there was a slight adjustment to the original estimate due to some additional dry wall replacement. Workers were so CLEAN! Not only did they put their equipment away at the end of the day, they vaccumed up and straightened up before they left for the day.

Great work! The painting team showed up at 8 a.m. ad went straight to work. They were very professional, pleasant to talk to and completed the job in one day. This is the second time we have used Toth Painting Solutions and I recommend them to everyone.

Does Angie?s List give a special award for valorous service in a combat zone? If they did, I would nominate Toth Painting. The painters had to work under very challenging circumstances involving a contentious divorce that in the midst of going through trial in Court of Domestic Relations, and a court ordered house sale. I arrived at the estimate with a video camera and my ex-wife called in two witnesses. I was getting very anxious about getting the paint job done because three other painters had come to give estimates and turned the job down after inspecting the house, still cluttered with my ex-wife?s belongings, and meeting with the occupant of the house, my ex-wife. The owner of Toth Painting was sympathetic to my plight as the non-resident who was court-ordered to foot the bill. The painting crew did a beautiful job under very trying circumstances. My ex was living in the home at my expense, and did everything she could to delay the process and postpone the day she would have to move out. She was rude to the painters and ordered them around. Once, she asked the painters to move a three foot tall stack of old magazines from the bathroom to then center of the bedroom. That was cheeky enough, but after the painting was done she demanded that the painters move the old magazines back where they were. My ex also demanded that painting and repairs be done that were not part of the original contract. At one point, the paint crew packed up and refused to continue the work, quite understandably from my point of view. After some negotiation, they came back and finished the job. The work came to 700 dollars more than the initial estimate, but this was entirely because of extra work created by my ex-wife. Toth painting went above and beyond the call of duty to do a beautiful job under extremely trying circumstances. The house is still on the market a year later, and I hear many compliments on the beautiful paint job from touring Realtors and potential buyers. I apologize for not writing a review earlier. But I am documenting one now, about a year later. I will say that Toth Painting did an excellent job. In the negotiation phase, I was looking at various painters and Nubert Painting actually told me they wouldn't paint my overhangs because some of the peeling underneath. The house is aluminum siding and was painted 20 years ago. 20 years ago I got an outrageous estimate from Nubert and I went with someone else. This time Nubert wanted me to replace all the over hangs before they would do the job. Why, anyone would have them paint is beyond me when there are great companies like Toth Painting out there. Kris looked over the job and said there was a bit additional work with the over hangs and he wouldn't be able to give the full number of years warranty but he could paint it. Well, I know it's only a year but the whole house still looks good. I believe it will stay that way for some time to come. I just wanted a decent paint job to make the house look good again without having to spend $15000 + on new siding. Toth was accommodating to that end. They worked with me. Once the job made it to the Toth schedule, they were there when they said they would be. They had professionals doing the work. They did bring a trainee one day to work with Kris himself on some of the trim. (You have to start somewhere, but he was always supervised). It was early spring and Toth was busy making his schedule. I did have to stay on him in the beginning to commit to a specific week. Kris was very professional about it and worked with me well. Without getting too lengthy here, I would recommend Toth Painting to anyone. In fact, I'm thinking about having them do some inside work in the future. They are professional, punctual, fair priced (Not the cheapest, but fair), and do quality work. Thanks for a job well done.

Worked with Kris to finalize the quote and the work to be done, including negotiating the price to be more in line with competition. Kris was great to work with and he and his team were always prompt and cleaned up after themselves every day, as it was a multi day project given the number of rooms that had to be done, coupled with the foyer and great room both being 2 story. They did a great job and we have had them back to do our master closet as well given the good job they performed. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend them!

He did an excellent job. Kris is very professional and he has quality workers. They did all of the walls and ceilings. They did a lot of repair work in the cracking and for the caulking work. They took a lot of care when doing the work. The lines were very good and they were very honest and professional to work with. They did the work for about a week and I trusted them in my home. They are not the least expensive but the service they provide is of high value and it was well worth it. If you are looking at them for service that is something that needs to be considered.

Once again Toth Painting has saved the day. I started to peel wallpaper from my dining room, and found there was three layers. I called Kris from Toth, he came out right away. They ended up primer and skim coating the walls over the wallpaper. We painted and it came out beautiful. I've used Toth in the past and will use them again without hesitation.

I purchased the house last summer and the entire interior was a gold/beige color with an almond trim. The existing paint was fine but my personal taste is more contemporary so I was looking for someone who could completely repaint every room. I was also looking to have the trim, moldings and doors painted a much brighter white. After interviewing 3 or 4 companies, I was told repeatedly that the job would take 2-3 months or more and couldn't be started for a month or two due to the volume of work already committed to during the exterior busy season. Kris arrived pencil and calculator in hand and gave me an estimate after a 15 minute walk around and said he could commit 2-3 guys until the work was finished which he believed would take 30-45 days. Although his price was not the cheapest, his attention to detail during the estimate and overall professionalism led me to believe he would do the best job and not cut corners. He also quoted me a price to repaint the kitchen cabinets which I decided to do as well. In the end, I could not have been happier with the result. His team worked diligently and took pride in the work they were doing. All three painters were punctual, professional and dedicated craftsmen. In the end, Kris stuck to his original quote even though the job turned out to be even bigger than he could have imagined. Most importantly, the results speak for themselves and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Toth Painting to any friends or family. A++ experience!

The men were very punctual, professional and clean. They did an excellent job and I would be very likely to use them again or refer them to others. They said it would take 3 days, and that's exactly how long it took.

Excellent prompt service. Crew arrived on time and was professional, experienced and friendly. Kept work area's clean. Did excellent work. Owner Kris, is very knowledgeable and professional. I do most of our painting myself but needed a pro to complete some work we couldn't handle. Excellent service at a fair price. I would highly recommend this company.

Kris was fantastic. As soon as I met him I knew he Was going to get my business. I had interviewed probably 10 companies (all of the top 10 A's in my area!) He was the most professional and personable by far. When the work started, which did take a couple of weeks, maybe 3, the guys were all outstanding! Professional, personable and just all around nice people which was really great because we were in the house and I have 2 small kids!! They worked hard all day everyday. It was a big job so it was probably 4 weeks but I honestly was sad to see them go. The house looks great!

Kris came out & gave estimate. Scheduled 8/23/13 8am. 2 painters arrived promply at 8am. Our kitche was very dark red color, they put 3 coats of paint on walls & painted ceiling. They were polite & efficient Then they cleaned up everything(even run my sweeper on carpet! I will have them again for any painting & highly recommend them.

Stellar all the way around! From quote to invoicing this team was professional and pleasant in every way! No muss, no fuss and never knew they were here except for the beautiful paint job! The owner personally quoted the job, what a personable guy! VERY professional and friendly. Kris communicated frequently regarding weather delays and I never had to ask what was the plan---he answered before I could inquire! The work was done beautifully and better than I hoped! This team is born and raised on Customer Service!

This review is worth reading top to bottom... Probably twice.... This is an update to my original review which was, sorry to say, very unflattering. Angie's list is a great service however contractors will still be contractors and many of them still don't return phone calls even when they pay to advertise on Angie's list. I unfairly classified Toth painting in that category about a week ago and now I'm going to set the record straight. I bought a new home which needed to be personalized so I went on Angie's list to find competent painters in my area. I called five companies and only one called me back?! after about a week the rest of the painters received somewhat amusing but very negative ( justified) reviews about their lack of professionalism and punctuality. Toth painting was one of those companies. About three days ago I got an e-mail from the owner claiming to have tried to reach me to no avail.. let's be honest, when was the last time your voicemail didn't work? Or you didn't get a text? Or in my case that the 24-hour a day answering service hired to field my calls if I'm unavailable dropped the ball and didn't give me the message? Exactly... Doesn't happen, those are nothing but feeble excuses for why a person didn't call you back... Essentially they just blame it on you. I ignored his e-mail figuring I really have nothing to say the guy who only responded after I left him a nasty review. Then my phone rings on July 19 and it's Chris Toth! (the owner) apparently he cyber stalked me through my e-mail address and found my company, found me, and gave me a call. You have to admire a guy with this kind of tenacity and more importantly someone who is willing to defend his company's reputation. He gave me a very detailed account of his attempts to follow-up with me and I have to say that I believe him. My original review, although at the time justified, was inaccurate. It became clear within the first few minutes of our conversation that he wouldn't be able to do any work out here for some time anyway but we continued our conversation for over an hour and I can honestly say that I have a genuine respect for Mr. Toth. We discussed at great length their billing practices and how he estimates jobs, honestly I'm sorry that they're too busy right now because I would very much like to do work with this guy. His professional references are impressive and although I can't speak to the quality of his work I'm confident that anyone with his integrity very likely produces a top rate product. As it turns out Toth painting is sort of like the A-Team :) If you need a painter, if no one else can help, IF they can fit you in, Maybe you can HIRE TOTH PAINTING! :) (if you are under 35 you wont understand the reference)

Kris is very professional and very responsive. He gave me a quote quickly and was able to schedule the job quickly as well. His painter did an excellent job and when the job was done, you never even knew he had been here. I have referred friends and family to him and will continue to do so!

Wonderful experience! I would use them again in a heartbeat. Professional, pleasant, efficient, neat and very accommodating! Chris and his staff are the best painting company I have ever worked with! You will not be disappointed.

The job couldn't have gone better. I waited almost a year before writing this review so I could see how the job weathered over the winter. It still looks beautiful. The color selection is awesome and the house has been greatly improved. During the job, if /when I saw any details that caught my eye, Chris immediately resolved the issue. When I noticed items that needed to be added on to the job, such as removing roof nails, he took care of it. I would definitely hire Chris again. Thanks Chris! Michael

quick accurate professional sanded problem areas painted areas timely only problem was the clean-up. They left my home a mess from sand dust.I hired a cleaner to clean afterward they left.Kris (the owner) sent me a check for the cost of the clean-up

Everything was great! The deal went well and I have no problems with their work. They were a bit slow coming back from lunch, and I was waiting to let them in before I headed to work. It wasn't a huge problem, but it was a slight imposition.

We hired Toth Painting after getting many quotes and opinions on how we should tackle this job. Kris was knowledgeable and explained everything about the job. Kris suggested using the Sherwin Williams color consultant which was a great tip in selecting colors. Our job lasted close to 3 weeks - as we added some of the work once we saw what a great job Toth Painting was doing. I really liked having the same two workers each day. Sean and Brian were professional, timely, neat and took pride in the quality of their work. It was comfortable having them in my home. We are thrilled with the results and look forward to having Toth Painting back for many more projects. Kris' quotes were accurate and he let us know on the quote what potential extra cost there would be if extra prep time were needed. I appreciated knowing this upfront for my planning purposes. While it is easy to say, maybe I should just do it myself...watching these guys work ASSURED me that there was no way that I could ever achieve the level of prep or professionalism that they brought to this job. Excellent job by an excellent company.

The quality was good. If you did not want a standard color you had to pay much more. The price was ok. Not so sure I would use them again.

Kris Toth is an extremely nice guy. His workers are also very nice and professional. They made sure I was happy with the work that was done. I will definitely use them again.

Start dates where accurate and the job was done on time. Plus it didn't involve me. Full sign off walk around before we paid.
