I had a Big Deal coupon for two rooms to be painted. The owner Kris came to my house to look over the rooms before the actual work day. Kris was very friendly and helpful when I asked about the brand and type of paint that would be best to purchase for my project. He suggested Sherwin Williams paint and said I could use his company's name to get a discount when I buy the paint. I did buy the paint at S-W and did get a nice discount. On paint day they arrived on time and immediately got started. The paint project went perfectly, two painters did the work, one did the entrance and the other did the kitchen. Toth provided all of the materials and equipment needed and they worked quickly and were very neat and professional. Each room was painted twice and when they finished they cleaned everything up and moved the refrigerator back in place. They did a great job and I was very pleased with the final results and would hire them again. In fact, I inquired about them painting the outside of my house but they were already booked up.

The power washing was accomplished on the first day. There were some pine tar stains on the north side of the garage that the power washer could not get. Kris Toth went above the contract specifications by getting some bug and tar spray which was able to alleviate them. Painting was started the next day and for the next four working days. After the first day I noticed some paint drips on the driveway which I complained to Kris about. The next morning Kris had the offending worker clean them up completely and that problem did not occur again. On the second work day some rotted wood was discovered at the base of my porch pillers Kris Toth gave me a price for repair ($285) which I found acceptable and the work was accomplished on the next day. The carpenter did an excellent repair and the painting was completed the next day. I was impressed by the quick response to any concern I had and the quality work they did. When I again need power washing or painting I will be sure to give Toth Painting Solutions a call.

Painters arrived around 8:00 am. They introduced themselves and proceeded to cover all furniture with plastic and all exposed carpeting was also covered. Masking tape was applied to chair moldings and baseboard.Repairs were made to areas when pictures had previously hung and other holes from curtain rods. Two coast of paint were applied. The wall surface was flawless when they finished. They cleaned up everything and put everything back when they found

Toth Paining Solutions is a top notch company. Kris is a genuinely nice person who is focused on customer satisfaction. He took lots of time answering all our questions and explaining all aspects of the job. His prices were reasonable and below most of the other bids. Kris has selected and trained his employees well. All of the crew were extremely professional and courteous. The results were fantastic on both jobs.

I can only rate them as high as an "A" but I'd give them an A++!

Corresponded with Kris by Email to determine tentative cost of desired work Kris was able to visit to give actual estimate within one day. Work was done the same week. Crew of 3 did the work. They took down the drapes and placed the rods on the tree lawn for the recyclers.They moved large furniture, masked, and placed furniture covers and drop cloths.Everyone was very polite and professional throughout the course of the day. They conversed quietly among themselves and were never a disturbance. Amazingly, they were able to cover dark terra cotta with pale green with 2 coats. The change is remarkable. They removed the masking and drop cloths and cleaned any debris that fell from the drop cloths. I was able to wash the floor in areas before they replaced the large pieces of furniture. It's been 3 weeks and I still sit in that room and marvel at how serene it looks.

Good service. Nice guys. Professional. We appreciated Kris's advice regarding our color choices. We chose Kris because we have been friends with him since college. This is the second time we have used his company.

Excellent. Kris helped us chose colors and recommended we add a couple of accent walls throughout, which is something we really hadn't considered and really turned out nice. They also performed some necessary work that they thought would help our condo present better to potential buyers. This included removing a wall of mirrors, removing and painting a wall paper border in the kitchen, and painting a railing. They also painted our garage doors. What a difference. We chose Kris because we knew him from college.

The guys were great. Always here on time and very easy to work with. We would hire them again in a heartbeat.

This was a quality job from a team with their priorities set on customer service and satisfaction. I had Kris out for an estimate at which time he thoroughly explained all of the options and potential concerns about painting the house. His team was on time, courteous, and professional. The job was completed in about two days and his crew did a good job of cleaning up at the end of each day. At any point if I had a question Kris was always available (seemingly at all hours) at least by phone and spent whatever time was necessary to answer my questions and address my concerns: for example, I had difficulty finding good replacement shutters in the right size and Kris offered to assist in locating them for me. Although I was able to resolve this myself, helping me find new shutters was not part of his contract, but his willingness to go above and beyond to help me is worth noting for the purposes of this review. After the job was complete, Kris returned to do any minor touch-ups and review the work with me. I believe that I made the right choice for this job and would definitely hire them again.

This is an update of my original report. Mr. Toth did email an estimate to me as agreed, however I did not receive it. After speaking with me on Saturday, he did resend his original estimate. It was dated 3 days after our initial meeting. So, he was very timely and thorough in addressing my needs. Please disregard the earlier review.

This was a professional job all the way! Kris, the owner, was on site a good amount of the time and also communicated often with me via cell phone. He walked me through the whole project from stain selection to application, giving me a lot of suggestions that really helped in getting the job done right and on time. Crew was polite and focused on their work. Worksite was kept clean and neat. Kris reviewed the job with me after completion. He touched up a few missed minor spots and did some extras. Job done well!

Chris is very personable and talked at length with me about the job. Did a good job but had their crew come back to do some touch ups here and there. Chris backed up his work the next summer when I asked him to repaint peeling paint on the garage.

I found Toth Painting on Angies List along with 3 other reputably rated companies. I had all 4 out to quote on a complete painting job of my house and garage. I was very impressed with the knowledge, reports and efforts made by the owner Kristopher Toth when he came out to quote the job. They were not the lowest priced, but they had a carpenter on staff which was very important to me. They also allowed me to buy my own paint as I was in the City of Cleveland paint program and qualified for free Sherwin-Williams paint. Kris put me on an August schedule but pleasantly surprised me with a July date to start the job. There was a lot of work to be done ? scraping, replacing boards, carpentry, etc. and his crew did that quickly and with top notch skills. I was very impressed with the lead contractor and he even took on an extra project (window that was boarded up and needed new siding) to get the job done right at the right price. Two coats were applied to the entire house and the end product looks beautiful. His team of painters were very nice and I trusted them to come into my home for restroom breaks while I was at work ? there was never a problem and they were very respectful of my animals in the home and careful not to leave doors and gates open. Kris came out to do the final touches himself on a Sunday afternoon and go over any missed spots (which is common) and fixed all of them before we officially completed the job. I was very happy with Toth Painting and I highly recommend them to anyone.

You get what you pay for! Naive as we were to hire Toth for their afforability, their paint preparation methods for the exterior of our home were so inferior that our $10,000 paint job failed within the first year. Upon follow-up discussions with them, the explanation offered was that there were too many coats of paint and the "failure" that was occuring was one of the existing layers of paint. My assessment is that the "failure" was lack of proper surface preparation and the result of an inexperienced painter "low-balling" a job and trying to finish as quickly as he could. We are still paying on the loan that we took for this work, and now we're shopping painters again. Buyer beware.

He seemed pretty knowledgeable and explained that the building was painted in the past with two different types of paint that should have been switched. He got back to me right away and he knows stuff but I happened to find someone else for a lot lower price.

Kristopher Toth, the owner, was personally involved from start to finish & a pleasure to work with. He explained the process, provided a reasonable estimate, and finished the work when promised. The job was a mix of painting new Pella interior windows and the related older trim. Looks fabulous & would work with him again!

They were fast and efficient getting us a quote. After getting 4 "Angies List" quotes selected Toth as the lowest. They began within a few days. They are outstanding - wish every service provider I have ever used were as efficient; as helpful and willing to work way beyond expectations; as professional; as courteous; as punctual; and charged as low a price. These young painters were wonders and were willing to add additional jobs as needed (after submitting a bid for the additional work). All of their work was within the price they quoted. I will come back to them for any, and all, painting work I need done. Wonder if they would consider expanding into plumbing, heating and cooling, electrical, yard work, roofing, etc. . . ? Oh well, just dreaming.

Hands down one of the best contracting jobs I've ever had in my nearly 15 years of living in this house, and we've used a lot of contractors, seeing that the house was built in1908 and always needs some sort of work. Contacted Kris via email on a Sunday. He called me back the very next day and was out that afternoon to do an estimate. He offered detailed explanation of his prep and painting process and answered all of my questions. I had a written estimate in hand (via email) no later than the next evening. His estimate was professional and quite thorough with every part of the project broken out quite succinctly. It was easy to see where my expenses were going. And, he had the best price of the four contractors I contacted. One, in fact, never did contact me back. Another was twice as much. And a third was about $600 more and didn't provide me with any sort of written estimate. Just gave me prices over the phone. We contracted Chris by the end of the week, and he and his crew started work the next Wednesday. They were done by Friday, and when they left, the kitchen was transformed. During the prep and painting process, they took care to seal off the room so dust wouldn't infiltrate the house. They were prompt, courteous and easy to have around. They cheerfully answered questions and when the job was done moved all appliances and furniture back into the room Kris also was willing to assemble and hang a new ceiling fan for me and also helped me hang spice racks and shelving back on the walls. Throughout the process, he was responsive in person and by email. The job was finished in the time frame promised and remained on budget. I highly recommend Toth Painting Solutions and definitely will use them for my future painting needs.

They were very professional. Both Chris and his workers are very knowledgeable. They did an excellent job. He was very experienced with drywall work. They cleaned up very well and kept clean and organized throughout the job. Absolutely great people to work with. The paint job is perfect. I can only give an "A" rating but this work really deserves an "A+" in all areas.

He is very punctual. He always calls and lets me know if his guys are going to be late. He made sure he got someone else when one of his guys didn't show up. They cleaned up after themselves and put the furniture back.

Extremely well. I hired Toth based on both price and the meticulous inspection Kris did developing his bid. He showed great attention to detail. Work was done quickly and efficiently, they left no mess, and I was very satisfied with the final product. A year later I needed to get another room done on short notice when a tenant unexpectedly departed. Kris was very responsive and gave me a good price despite the opportunity to take advantage of me. A man of integrity and a consumate professional.

They were prompt, courteous, hard working and priced very fairly. The job they did was excellent.

It was an excellent experience. We set up a time for them to come. They came and gave me an estimate on time. They sent a painter out. They were clean and they did a wonderful job. I intend to use them again.

He responded promptly, gave me a low bid, delayed the work once, after checking with me to see if it was OK, and then did all the work in a day. Chris and his workers were friendly and very cooperative when I made suggestions. They even did a little extra work that they noticed needed doing, without extra charge.
