"Brad" and "Amanda" were about 5 minutes late, but went right to work. At about 10:15 Brad went out to the truck followed by Amanda about 2/3 minutes later. After a couple minutes I glanced outside to see where they were. I could hear their voices but couldn't see them. I assumed they were on the far side of the truck getting more supplies. After a few more minutes I looked again, and could see someones' elbow sticking out of the passengers side window and hear them talking. I thought that perhaps they were taking an early lunch break. After another 20 minutes Brad came inside and said that he had to take Amanda back to the office because she was sick, and that he would return with someone else to help him. He came back about 30 minutes later and said he didn't have anyone to help him so he was going to take his equipment to other "emergency jobs". He said he would "give me a heads-up" about when he would show up the next day. I said "what about just coming at 8:00 A.M." so I could meet him there, but again he said he would "give me a heads-up". He got his equipment and left, and I went home. The next day he called about 10:00 A.M. and asked where I was and said he was sitting in the driveway at my mothers condo. I asked him what about the "heads-up" he was supposed to give me, and he replied something to the effect that "well,I'm here now". I told him that the way the job was going was unacceptable and to leave and that I wouldn't be doing any more business with Servicemaster Clean. I called the company and reported what had happened, that it was unacceptable, and that they were fired. Someone else called back after a while and again I told them what had happened, and that I would not do any more business with them. I recieved another call from them saying they wanted to finish the job and that they would give me "a break on the price". Again, I told them "no". I refuse to put up with contractors who waste my time and act in an unprofessional manner.
