Neubert Painting

I did not have a good experience with this company. The initial estimate was an hourly rate. When I received the final invoice I found that they had charged me double what I expected. I called the company and was told at that time the the hourly rate was for "man-hours" and, since they sent two painters, they charged me double the quoted hourly rate. I'm very experienced at reading contracts, it's what I do 40 hours a week. I read the entire contact (which was only about a page long) and nowhere in the language did it state that the hourly rate was for man-hours and I was not told at the time the estimate was done. I also found that the number of hours billed had been "padded". I have a video camera at my front door so I knew exactly when the painters arrived and when they left and kept a detailed record of the time they spent working. The work itself was just Ok. They did not tape anything so there's paint on my windows which I was assured would be scraped off but was not. The painters did not behave professionally as I caught one of them urinating on my house. In the end I was able to work with the company on the bill and we did come up with a compromise on the amount due. However, due to the long list of issues I had with this company, I would not use them again or recommend them.

Estimator came out for potential whole house exterior and/or simple power wash and painting shutters, door. Neubert did the house 10 years ago but he didn't seem to care about that as he was most likely in middle school. I tried to probe a bit on crew, paint type, job plans, etc but it wasn't too straightforward. Your good reputation doesn't buy you business you still have to show up to work every day and earn business. I just wasn't very impressed.

It went just as expected. It took one day to tape the house and 3 days to paint the house and fence. They did a very good job being neat with their painting and cleaning up afterwards. Every morning we were told what would be done by the team leader and at the end of the day was given a sheet of what had been done.

Excellent-from estimate to final clean-up, crew was professional and communicated clearly with us. Beautiful finish.

The painter,Jesse, was meticulous and made the room look amazing. It took longer than expected because the original wallpaper was not applied correctly and many repairs were needed.

Couldn't have been better. Tony was punctual. He carefully covered the floor and countertops with dropcloths and the cabinet fronts with plastic. He painted quickly and accurately and added a second coat to one area which he saw needed it. He cleaned and straightened up completely at the close of both days that the job took.

I had a really good experience with Neubert. I don't think they are the cheapest around but you get VERY good service and they will be sure you are 100% happy before leaving. The front of our house is faced with brick that was a pretty ugly color and my wife has wanted it painted for years. They made us feel comfortable that with the prep they do and the products that they use that it will be years before and maintenance would be needed. I believe they even have a service where they come out once a year for so long to verify no touchups are needed. We had power washers and a group of 4-5 younger painters. I think they have a program where college students work for them over the summer. Do not be intimidated by that though as these guys worked hard, were very respectful and kind, and did an amazing job. We noticed the day after the job was complete and fully dried that there were some areas of thin paint. One phone call later and the next day one of the original guys came out and touched up the spots that were hard to see in the afternoon light on the day they were painting. Really a wonderful experience and I would definitely use them again.

It went well. They arrived when they said they would show up and they cleaned up after themselves when the job was completed. He was a very nice gentleman as well.

Very well. The painter was able to get the job done in a day, even though it had two stages (drywall repair and painting). Neubert's Painter for a Day does just what they say!

I called Neubert Painting to get an estimate of painting the ceiling in my great room, dining room, kitchen, and breakfast room. After coming and looking at the job, they gave me an oral estimate. They said they were being conservative and the job might cost less than the estimate but they did not want to go low and have to add to the estimated cost. They told me the job would take three painters, eight days, and a cost of $395 per painter per day. That came to $9480 plus paint. I did not hire them because I thought the price was too high. As a matter of fact, the painters I did subsequently hire took four days with only two painters on the job and they did an excellent job.

I had the house painted during the summer. Shutters were installed by this company. Some of the shutters needed to be re-adjusted. I e-mailed Kyle and Jim was sent to do the work.. Jim showed up and completed all the needed adjustments. He was very professional completed all work in a timely manner. This company has excellent customer service and I will use them in the future.

They were absolutely meticulous, The last exterior painter had gotten paint on the glass on our windows. The Neubert team very carefully scraped off all that paint. They were very careful in painting the right side of the house, including the gutters. We have a three story Tudor, and it's not easy to find people who will remove the ivy from our roof, so we were very grateful that they did it for us.

The house was powered washed over several days I appreciated that since I have well water. Power washers did a great job. The painters completed everything on the list in a professional and timely manner. I received a early call each morning from the painter letting me know if he would show up due to weather. Clean up was excellent! I highly recommended them.

They did everything they had stated in their contract. The first step was to wash down the house with detergent and the power washer. The house is approximately 33 years old, and this was the original siding on the house. This is the first time I have had it painted since I moved here about 19 years ago. They used high quality white paint with the application of two coats. From the onset, I was treated very professionally. In fact, they called and asked if they could come a week earlier than was proposed, since they had a change in schedule. All windows and openings was covered with film and well taped so no blowing paint could in any way get where it should not be. They took down my shutters, and matched the color I had requested (blue) on them. At the end of every work day when I came home everything was cleaned up and put away. No mess what-so-ever. I received a discount because I permitted them to place a sign in my yard. (They did such great work, I was certainly happy to help display their company. Their workers were more than professional, and intelligently answered any and all questions that I asked. Since there are many painters in our area, I had a choice of quite a few. Very glad I chose the one I did as their work was top notch. When I sent the final payment, I was so impressed with all aspects of the job that I enclosed a letter to state that. Would I have them again- DEFINITELY

They did an excellent job of painting! Everyone I came in contact with was very friendly and professional. I felt comfortable leaving the painters at home during the day while I went to work. I would highly recommend them for future work and plan to use them again as I paint additional portions of my house.

We had a wonderful experience with Neubert Painting! They were prompt, clean, friendly and extremely professional. With a 2-person team, the outside of our house was cleaned and painted in a little over a week. Tim (our project manager) called us (or spoke with us if we were home) at the end of each day to communicate what had been done and what was planned for the next day. Afterwards, we had the opportunity to take a couple of days to scrutinize the "finished" work and let them know if there was anything missed or anything that didn't look quite right. We found just a couple of minor things, contacted Tim, and that night he came back to go over our list. The next day, they were out and took care of everything we asked for! This was just an awesome experience, by far the most pleasant and professional group we have worked with throughout the remodel of our foreclosure home. We would highly recommend Neubert Painting!

I bought 3 days worth of painting and go much more work done than I thought possible, and at top quality. VERY satisfied.

Lots of rain this year so days kept getting postponed but all in all, worked great. Many times when changing the date/time they were coming, they'd call the house instead of my husband's cell while we were both at work so we didn't always get the message right away. There is also the possibility my husband did not give his cell number, I can't say either way. The power wash was fantastic as they scrubbed any debris off the house in addition to using the hose. They came back when they said the would to finish any touch-ups and overall did a wonderful job. They use Sherwin Williams paint - great paint! I get tons of compliments!!!! I would highly recommend them for any job!!
