Neubert Painting

They were outstanding, courteous and they were on-time. They were extremely neat and clean and did a first class job. The 2 young men that did the painting were just wonderful.

I thought they were reasonably priced and thought they were good. I probably would use them again although there were little things I did not like; I wish they had done more caulking and I told them so. They also missed two basement windows but were very prompt and punctual.

(This paragraph is for services performed - should have gone in box above and that paragraph here) Neubert Painting stained the outside of our cedar sided home. The came out and provided an estimate, supplied us with color samples and put several color samples on the house for us to decide on a color before staining the entire exterior.

He has excellent follow up. I was very happy with it. Although, I don't think I am going to do a painting project anymore. He was very professional and even had a book of the properties he had previously done work on. If I was going to paint my house, I probably would have hired him.

They had previously painted our house, and came back to do this work. They did an excellent job. They guy that did it was very polite and courteous.

Based on most of the other reviews, I must have gotten the worst crew they had...maybe because I used their 'winter special'. They 'finished' in two days, but the job was horrible. They missed spots, had drips and left brush marks everywhere...oh, and my favorite, painted over all my exterior water spigots. Seriously, couldn't take 2 minutes each to mask them off (3 total)? Why did they use a brush on aluminum siding in the first place? Your guess is as good as mine..I guess to touch up their drips from sloppy spraying, although they painted my aluminum awnings entirely with a brush instead of spraying. I told them I was not pleased and they spent another day 'touching up' (ie: more brush marks and drips). I showed the neighbors and they couldn't believe how bad it was...it was like I hired a bunch of teenagers to do it. Well, maybe the teenagers would have done a better job. Anyway, I tried to get the manager involved because I wasn't getting results, but he seemed to think everything was normal over the phone. He did come out the next morning, realized how bad it was and had them stay longer to 'fix it'. The sanded two sides of the house back down and tried again, which was better than it was, but still not great. In any case, two weeks later and I have uneven paint, crooked masking lines, overspray and brush marks all over my awnings. It looks okay from the street now, but get up close and see how unprofessional it is. And to add insult to injury, they left their stuff in my garage over the weekend (after they were finished) because they didn't want to have to take it wherever they take it or leave it on the trucks. They then came back for it Monday when I was trying to leave for work. Like I want to be inconvienenced by them because they don't want to have to load and unload their stuff? Not my problem...the job is over...get out of here! I already had to park my wife's car outside for two weeks when it was only supposed to be 2 days. Actually, come to think of it, they dropped their stuff off at my house on the Friday before they started too. I wish I would have done it myself, but it's too late. I paid them because I didn't want to deal with a lawsuit, but documented all this in the review they asked me to fill out for them. No one even called to follow up. I guess they write it off as one bad job out of many and don't need to rectify their mistakes. All I can say is, "BEWARE!". Maybe you'll get a good crew like most seem to have gotten...or maybe you'll get the ones that did my house. They knew I was unable and still didn't care...they were just in a hurry to get out of there and start making money on the next quick job. I'd personally hire a company that I know would provide a professional result next time...and not make me feel like I am just a whiner because I want my house done correctly. I would be embarrassed if I had to tell people I did this job. I guess that is why Neubert never offered to put a sign in my yard like some companies do? In summary, I thought I was hiring professionals, but they just sent a bunch of unexperienced kids to paint my house. It was miserable seeing them screw up my house and not being able to do anything about it except complain, which in turn got no results.

They were very prompt and professional. They were very neat with their painting which I really appreciated. There were two young guys that were very nice and they came and did the work and left.

The experience was very good. We are very satisfied with the work done.

Overall a very good experience. Communications throughout the project were excellent. Each day I was updated with a status note and encouraged to contact them with any questions or concerns (I had none). The surfaces were first powerwashed and then primed and the final outcome was very good. Extremely reasonable pricing.

We plan to hire again in the future.

They were on time, cleaned up after themselves appropriately, worked quickly, and there weren't inefficiencies in their working. They did a quality job.

The office staff, the pressure washers, and the painters are all outstanding in their jobs. You can tell everyone takes great pride and care in their work, and they pay attention to detail. We certainly would not hesitate to use Neubert Painting again, and we will recommend them to our friends.

We were very pleased with our experience with Neubert Painting. The estimate was slightly higher than some other places, but we had used them previously for window painting , and were impressed that they came back to check their work the following year. With a different company, we had a very bad experience (and color) painting our aluminum-sided house about 10 years ago, so we were anxious to make sure that we did it right this time. The company owner, John Neubert, came and gave us a detailed estimate, and gave us information and advice regarding painting or not painting a brick facade, painting before or after our window replacement, etc. Neubert was very responsive, providing requested paint samples, and scheduling the job when it best worked for us. A two-man crew worked on the house for 4 days, giving a daily report of progress, asking our input about work that had been done, offering to change trim colors in certain areas if we preferred. They were responsible, professional, friendly, and completely cleaned up after themselves each day. On the day the job was finished, we contacted Neubert about a couple of very minor touch-up areas, and they returned the next day and completely resolved those. We are very satisfied with the work that was done, both the process in working with this company, and also with the outcome (our home looks great)!

The Neubert painting crew arrived around 8 o'clock to prep the house for paint. The expectation was that it would take one day to prep, and one day to paint. Despite that they were able to get one coat done on the first day. While their second painting day was delayed a few days due to rain, they kept us informed as to when they'd be able to finish the house. The end result is a very nice looking paint job thousands of dollars less than vinyl siding would have cost.

The job looks good but it did take a couple of service calls

On 4/22, I spoked to Don. He said he would be in the neighborhood the next day doing an estimate and would come over between 10:00 and 11:00, but could not pinpoint the time. I said I understood and asked him to call me when he was on his way and I would meet him there. It turned out that I went to the property to do other work. I arrived at 10:00 and stayed until 1:30. He had both my cell number and the address but never called or showed up.

I wasn't thrilled with it. There was a misunderstanding about the charges, which I wasn't happy about. The painters spilled paint on the screens, windows, and lawn furniture and did not clean it up. I was very unhappy with the mess they made. They also left my garden hose running for about half a day.

The person who came to give the estimate was very good. He was professional and nice. The workers were also very good. They did what they had to do and did a good job. I have no complaints at all. It?s been five years now and it looks fine. I got to know about them on Angie?s list and he had good rating. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves.

They did a good job and I was very pleased with them. They were just what I needed. I had a couple of bids and this company was the lowest, though I don?t remember the price. They were on time, they did nice clean up, they did a good job on the outside and they listened to you. Anything which you have questions about and you ask them to do they do it. I would use them in the future.

They were good. The initial crew boss was kind of unprofessional. The owner came and fired the unprofessional crew boss. He sent a new crew boss. The new crew boss was professional and knew what he was doing.
