Neubert Painting

The company responded quickly to my request for a quote and sent a painter out who was what they call a "painter for a day". The painter worked very quickly, both inside and out. His work was excellent, he cleaned up after each project and was very professional.

Neubert is excellent - this is the second time I have used them. Their people powerwashed the house the week before, they left me several paint samples to try so i could make a decision and the team they sent were excellent......arrived on time, worked very hard and consistently and cleaned up everything. The painting team communicated and clarified to be sure that everything was exactly as I wanted it.

John Neubert was prompt on meeting to discuss bid and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in determining the best method to proceed. Jeff and his crew were here on time every day for the project and did an excellent job of cleanup. When the job was completed Jeff preformed a very detailed inspection and touched up any punch list items promptly. We would not hesitate to use this company again or recommend to others.

Their work was very good. They didn't get paint all over my house. They were really good quality painters. They'd been out for a while. I've used them several times.

Price was not the lowest bid, nor was it the highest. Service was as promised. Job took longer than anticipated because of all the rain we had during May and June. Neubert office personnel were always prompt in letting us know when workers would begin; letting us know of any delays; answering questions. Once the work began, it was done excellently. We have stained glass windows which were kept covered (as were all the windows) to prevent paint splatter. Job was cleaned up. We really had no worries about the workers, the quality, or the price. Excellent job. We would recommend them.

The job went very well from start to finish. All steps in the process were completed as scheduled with good communication along the way. Their price was equal to or lower than other recommended contractors (after coupon and sign discounts). All of the workers were very professional. The estimator was professional. The duo that power-washed the house prior to painting was professional. The painting duo was professional. The painting-team leader was very willing to answer questions and discuss any concerns. They were very respectful of my neighbors. They were very concerned with doing a quality job. They were very diligent. They carefully taped off all areas. They were refinishing a house sided with aluminum siding. The siding had been very badly faded. The power-washing removed the chalk buildup. They spray-painted the siding and the results look very nice. They prevented any "over-spray" problems. They cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommended this painting company. It went pretty well. They do quality work and it looks good when they're done. They also clean up after themselves and are very polite workers. The crew chief was a nice young gentleman and was very easy to work with. When I came up with a punch list of things after they were done, he had no problem adjusting those things very quickly.

John was very thorough in examining my house and in pointing out areas that would take extra work. He answered all of my questions and offered advice... He gave me a complete estimate except for two siding endcaps that need to be replaced -- those he would need to subcontract and gave me a ballpark guess on their cost. His price was higher than the others I received -- I told him it was the Cadillac of the estimates. Because of the higher price, I decided not to choose his company.

They did everything that they said they would do. They were fast and cleaned up well after the job was completed. They communicated extremely well and were very friendly. I would use them again!

We have used Nuebert at our old home and called them again for our current home! This time they painted the front of the house and repainted our deck! The front looks so much better so fresh and it was done so quickly, the deck is WONDERFUL!!! it was in such bad shape and now it looks like a million dollars. even when we saw a few spots they missed (it was huge job so we were not surprised) they came out immediately and took care of it! Great work!

Did a great job as usual, No runs, drips, oversrpay or messes. Sprayed siding and worked it in with a brush which seems to make a difference on coverage. On time each time they came and left everything clean and orderly. Only problem with the whole job was that several windows got painted shut (which, had I thought about it, I could have prevented by opening the windows after they were painted). They came back and got that sorted out quickly. They left extra paint and labeled it, so I have some for touch ups.

No problems with the requested work and promptly finished the job within the hour of work needed.

Our house was in need of a good painting, and Neubert offered the best package, especially with a high-grade primer for use on weathered areas. The price was on the high end, but for the materials used and with discounts, such as for a yard sign advertisement, it was quite competitive. Before painting, they were very helpful matching trim paint with existing replacement windows, and also were gracious when we changed our minds on a detail color at the last minute. There was an unexplained lag between our first contact and the job getting started, which I presume was because it was late in the season. However, once the crew got to work they were very fast, especially considering the rainier weather in the fall. They were very willing to work around our schedule when necessary and did a very good job with the small things like helping remove old TV wires from the higher walls. And the new paint looks great.

They provided very good information to me. As my home is older, & he recommended siding based on the condition of the existing paint. He recommended what was best for the house even though it may not have been best for his business. That strikes me as very honest & forthright - He gave me the advice that was best even though it may not have been best for him. I would give him strong consideration for any painting needs I have in the future.

They did an excellent job, cleaned up after themselves and efficient.

Information, estimate and start of work fine. After they "finished" the punch list items were ignored for almost three months and done sloppily (one of the shutters was not taken down to be painted after being ignored the first time through), missed a light fixture and had left masking tape all over the back of the house. So, when they're there they are great, after they leave good luck getting them to finish any details.

Some delay in getting started due to prior customer extending scope of job. But once started work proceeded at rapid pace, as explained ahead of time and completed as promptly as weather permitted.

..The crew led by Pat was awesome. They arrived by 8 am every morning and left between 6 and 8 pm every evening. They spent a lot of time with taping areas that were not to be painted that day. I was told what they would get done before they left and what they were going to do the next day. When they left each evening, everything was placed in the garage and the ladders were stacked on the grass in the back yard by the garage. Nothing was left out of place. When they worked they made little noise (no blaring music) and talked quietly. They worked with only a lunch break that was about 30 minutes long. We decided after half the trim was done that we wanted a darker gray. They were very accommodating. They told us to go to Sherwin Williams and pick out shades that we wanted instead of the original color we had chosen. They didn't get upset and were pleasant throughout. The crew head, Pat, picked up the paint and they redid the trim. They finished on time and on budget. Would definitely hire them again.

I have used Neubert Painting since the early 90s most recently July 1, 2012. I have found them consistent in their quality of workmanship and customer satisfaction. If there is a complaint they take care of it immediately to your satisfaction - no hassle whatsoever. Mr. Neubert hires college type workers who are intelligent, polite and have good working habits. He is a brilliant business man and these young people are exposed to excellent business practices and ethics at a relatively young age under his supervision. The crew works as a team with one of the as the crew leader. They showed up on time, got right to work like a well-oiled machine and completed the job in 2 days with a couple of rain delays mixed in. A 3 year warranty is provided with automatic inspection and touch-up each year. The result is a beautifully stained house of which I am very proud. I think they are the best and plan to continue using them whenever I need painting done.

After looking up painters on Angie's List, I called for estimates. I accepted Neubert's estimate on May 26th and signed a contract for a price of $2400 less $100 if I let them put an advertising sign in my front yard. I paid $200 deposit when I signed the contract. Work to be completed no later than July 15th. An additional 40% of bill to be paid at start of work, and final balance at completion. (Neubert charges an extra 4% for payment by credit card, so I made advance arrangements to be able to pay with checks). I got a call last week of June, they could be out around noon on Friday June 29th if that would be okay with me. They worked from about noon to 4:30 pm, due to come back Saturday morning June 30th. They called early Saturday to request delay for a few hours due to thunderstorms that had passed through the area. They came out around 11:30 am, worked until job was finished and everything cleaned up around 5:00 pm. They did a good job on the scraping/priming/painting, and entire crew were good steady workers in spite of 90+ degree afternoon heat both days. They did an outstanding job on cleanup, even vacuuming up paint chips from the ground in a shrub garden. I would not hesitate to hire this company again for future work.

They came out on-time and were very professional. The first time out the guys didn't do a great job so we called and told them our complaint. The company sent someone out immediately to look at it. They didn't argue with us or try to make excuses- they simply said they'd fix it and they did to our satisfaction. They also took off some of the bill. We're very satisfied with Neubert's work but more impressed with their willingness to stand behind their work.

They do good work. They are reliable. They will come back for any small job. They will patch up any paint work for a period of three years. They did a nice job for me.

Estimate only - hired another company.

Guys arrived right on time and went right to work. All work was done as expected and the did a nice job of cleaning up after themselves. It's hard to beat their Painter for a Day offer. Definitely a good crew worth hiring again.

They were absolutely terrific. The people were wonderful. They did a wonderful job on another house that we own. They use college-aged young people who are quiet and polite, and they are so respectful. It was a pleasure dealing with them. They are giving younger people jobs, which the kids need. We will probably use them again next month for the interior.
