Went well. Guy was here first thing in the morning, had it replaced in 10 minutes and was on his way. It has worked fine since. They are honest.

They were very good, courteous, and prompt. I thought I might have needed a washer level for the washer, but he said because of my basement there was nothing he could do. He cleaned the lint from the dryer cleaned the whole space and replaced a vent hose. He also put the parts outside for disposal.

Repairman came in, replaced the arm and left.

I called to look into fixing the display on my Jenn-air oven. In the past, Total Appliance was an authorized repair facility for Maytag. I did not schedule a repair, but they came to my house, and my wife had them do the repair. I later found out that they no longer did warranty work for Maytag, so I had to pay the bill myself. They were not helpful when I complained.

I THINK THAT THEY REPAIRED IT AND SAVED ME MONEY, INSTEAD OF ME SPENDING AN EXTRA 300-400 DOLLARS AND GOING OUT AND BUYING A NEW ONE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICE.

We had a somewhat new dryer that was not doing a very good job. The serviceman (TJ) was able to identify the problem quickly and solve it. It was not as simple as a blocked vent, but it was beyond what I could have handled myself. He was very kind and timely. He even took a few extra minutes to ask if I was satisfied with my other appliances, and when I complained about my dishwasher, he went under the sink and adjusted some pipes. Viola, things are working so much better, and at no charge. I really felt good about working with this company and believe they operate with a lot of integrity.

The service man was very pleasant and appeared to be quite knowledgeable. He was on time and took care of the problem immediately. I had a bit of a hard time scheduling the work, as I had to attend a funeral the day of the original scheduled service, and the company would not have the repair man wait for me (I was running about 45 minutes late due to the church service). The call was rescheduled for two days later.

The work done was very good. It was a bit difficult to get them scheduled, since they don't let you know until that morning whether they would be out in the morning or afternoon. After they had schedule it, they called an hour and a half early to say the technician was running early and wanted to know if anyone was home yet. I had to leave work 30 minutes early to be there.

Total Appliance was able to come out within 48 hours from my call with the proper replacement part (handle latch). The work was completed within 40 minutes per the service invoice.

They were pretty timely in getting back to me. My dryer is a Maytag and about 20 years old so. I could have just gotten a new one but the estimate was around $100 so I decided to keep it because it is a good dryer. Although, I didn't expect the actual price to be so much more.

Initial visit was prompt. Part needed to be ordered for repair- took several days longer than stated to get the part. Repair was made, service person left, and washer was not operating properly. Another service person came first thing the next day and fixed the problem. Repair people were courteous. Have used this company previously with better results (no wait for parts, fixed in one visit).

THE TECHNICIAN WAS PROFESSIONAL AND PUT SOCKS ON HIS SHOES TO AVOID TRACKING DIRT IN. HE REMOVED THE COOLER TO THE GARAGE TO PERFORM THE ACTUAL WORK, THEN RE-INSTALLED IT WITHOUT DAMAGING THE WOOD FLOOR OR SURROUNDING CABINETS.

CALLED FOR INITIAL APPOINTMENT ON 9/26 and SCHEDULED ON 9/30. LOU ARRIVED ON TIME and DISMANTLED and CLEANED-UP LINT BUILD-UP IN PUMP. TESTED MACHINE. TOOK 1.5 HOURS and CHARGED $155.88 FOR TRIP and LABOR. AFTER A COUPLE DAYS, PROBLEM REOCCURRED (NOT ADVANCING THROUGH CYCLES). CALLED ON 10/3 and SCHEDULED ON 10/5 FOR FOLLOW-UP. NO TRIP CHARGE FOR SECOND VISIT. BRAD ARRIVED ON TIME. DETERMINED PUMP WAS BAD and ADVISED MANUFACTURER RECOMMENDED CHANGING THE CONTROL PANEL WHEN PUMP REPLACED. BRAD SAID THE PUMP MIGHT FIX IT, BUT MOST LIKELY NOT. ONCE PUMP IN, WE WOULD BE COMMITTED TO BUYING IT ($79.20) and STILL MIGHT NEED CONTROLLER PANEL ($230.46). TOTAL WITH LABOR WOULD BE $374. WE DECIDED TO WAIT ON REPAIR TO CONSIDER BUYING A NEW MACHINE. ENDED UP BUYING NEW MAYTAG SAV3655AWW FROM SNOW BROTHERS. EVEN THOUGH IT TOOK TWO VISITS, WE FEEL WE RECEIVED EXCELLENT, RESPONSIVE SERVICE and GOOD ADVICE. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO PRESSURE TO HAVE REPAIR DONE.

TOTAL APPLIANCE ANSWERED PHONE CALLS PROMPTLY AND SCHEDULED SERVICE CALL CONVENIENTLY BASED ON MY SCHEDULE. SERVICE PROFESSIONAL WHO CAME TO MY HOME WAS PLEASANT, POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. SERVICE/LABOR CHARGES WERE COMPETITIVE, ALTHOUGH NOT INEXPENSIVE, AND THOUGH THIS PARTICULAR PROBLEM WAS VERY MINOR, I WOULD DEFINITELY UTILIZE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN BASED ON THE RESPONSIVENESS AND PROFESSIONALISM OF THIS INTERACTION.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH OUR SERVICE. WE CALLED AND GOT NEXT DAY SERVICE, AND THEY GAVE US AN ACCURATE ESTIMATE OF THE TIME OF ARRIVAL, WHICH MEANT I DIDN'T HAVE TO WAIT AROUND ALL DAY FOR THE REPAIRMAN. BASED ON WHAT WE REPORTED THE PROBLEM TO BE, WE GOT A PRETTY ACCURATE ESTIMATE, WITHIN $20. WE WERE PLEASED WITH THE WORK PERFORMED, THE PROMPTNESS OF SERVICE, AND THE PUNCTUALITY OF TOTAL APPLIANCE.

THEY HAVE ALWAYS REPAIRED THE ITEM CORRECTLY, HAVE USUALLY BEEN ABLE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT QUICKLY (WITHIN 2 DAYS OF CALLING) AND ARRIVE PROMPTLY. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON COULD BE NICER AND THEIR FACILITY IS PRETTY DIRTY AND SMELLS LIKE SMOKE, IF YOU EVER HAVE TO TAKE AN ITEM THERE.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, EFFICIENT, AND VERY REASONABLY PRICED. I WOULD DO BUSINESS WITH THEM IN THE FUTURE.

TOTAL APPLIANCE IS THE BEST. THEIR TECH IS QUICK, EFFICIENT, NO NONSENSE, AND ALWAYS GIVES YOU OPTIONS AND SUGGESTIONS. WE'RE LUCKY TO HAVE THEM SO CLOSE TO HOME. I JUST WISH TODAY'S APPLIANCES WERE BUILT TO LAST!

THEY ORDERED THE PARTS AND CAME THE NEXT DAY TO CORRECT PROBLEM.

HE FOUND IT WAS DISCOLORED FABRIC SOFTENER AND GAVE ME INFO ON HOW TO CLEAN IT OUT. HE WAS VERY GOOD AND GAVE GOOD EXPLANATIONS. HE CAME WITHIN THE TIME THAT WAS QUOTED.

CALLED 12/2003; FOUR VISITS TO OUR HOME TO REPAIR DISH WASHER - SOME RESPONSIBILITY WITH WHIRLPOOL FOR POOR COMMUNICATION WITH SERVICE PERSONNEL; THEY ARE NOT COMMUNICATIVE, DO NOT KEEP CUSTOMER INFORMED OF STATUS OF ORDER FOR REPAIR OR PARTS; WE HAD TO WORK HARD TO KEEP THEM ON THE ORDER AND EVENTUALLY HAD TO START ALL OVER BECAUSE THEY LOST THE PAPERWORK, ETC.; THEIR TELEPHONE PERSONNEL WERE NOT FRIENDLY, EVEN ACTED ANNOYED THAT WE WANTED TO KNOW WHAT WAS HAPPENING; AFTER THREE MONTHS THE DISHWASHER IS FIXED, GLAD TO SAY.

JENN-AIR GAVE ME THE NAMES OF TWO COMPANIES IN THE CLEVELAND AREA QUALIFIED TO REPAIR OUR RANGE. BOTH WERE IN ANGIE'S LIST. THE ONE WE USED (TOTAL APPLIANCE SERVICE) WAS RATED MUCH BETTER THAN THE OTHER ONE.

SHOWED FLEXIBILITY TO MEET OUR SCHEDULE.

WONDERFUL. THEY CAME THE DAY AFTER I CALLED, LEFT THEM AT MY HOME WHILE I MADE A QUICK TRIP, AND THEY FINISHED WHILE I WAS AWAY. IMPRESSIVE SERVICE AND RESULTS!

I CHOOSE THIS COMPANY BECAUSE OF THE PRICE AND THE RATINGS ON ANGIE'S LIST. I WAS TOLD THEY FIX THE WASHER WITHIN 7-10 DAYS. ON THE THE 8TH DAY THEY SAID THEY JUST GOT THE PART IN AND WE SET UP A TIME FOR THEM TO COME OUT. AFTER ARRIVING AT MY PLACE THE TECH DISCOVERED THE PART WAS INCORRECT. THE TECH CALLED THE COMPANY AND THE CORRECT PART WAS SUPPOSE TO BE ORDERED. AFTER TWO WEEKS WENT BY I CALLED THE COMPANY AND I WAS INFORMED THE PART WAS ON BACK ORDERED I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD CALL ME BACK THAT DAY. I NEVER RECEIVED A PHONE CALL SO I CALLED THEM BACK MYSELF. I HAVE SINCE CALLED ANOTHER COMPANY WHO SAID THEY CAN GET THE PART. I WILL NOT USE THIS COMPANY IN THE FUTURE. THIS WHOLE PROCESS TO BETWEEN 7-8 WEEKS.
