We had a fence fall down in a wind storm, and talked to Gus. He was able to make it to our place the very next day. He had the fence fixed very quickly even though he had to improvise because the ends had broken off, and then we asked him to fix the slide on the playset, which had also blown off and he happily did that very quickly as well. He was friendly and did great work. We will definitely call him back for future projects!

I was told the job would take 4-5 days which would have been okay because it would have been done in time for my move. The work was not completed within that time frame. When I moved in I had no closets for my daughter's and my clothes and shoes. The dust from the drywall sanding was so bad I had to hire a cleaning company to take care of it. I have asthma and I'm quite allergic to dust. I wasn't able to use the main closet for two weeks after I moved into my house, which was inconvenient at best. The other one took even longer. At around 30 days into this I gave Gus a final day to get the closet doors and floor molding installed (which he said could be done in one day). He was supposed to arrive around 9:30am but didn't show up until almost 2:00pm. No surprise that the job was not completed that day. I hired another contractor to finish the work. I just couldn't deal with Gus's attitude any longer. He acted like he was doing me a favor doing the work rather than treating me like a paying customer. If the work had been excellent I might be happier but the flaws are obvious (like corner beading showing through the mud) and the ceiling (where the old closet had been) was so poorly done I am going to have to pay someone to fix it. The whole experience was frustrating and extremely stressfull.

I called Gus for an estimate on some work I needed done around the house including minor plumbing, siding, and window work. After reaching out to a couple unresponsive contractors, I contacted Gus who came out the next day and provided a reasonable estimate for the work I requested. Gus was very responsive and completed the job in an afternoon. I did end up assisting him with the majority of the work as an extra pair of hands to repair a window and spot the ladder. We had a couple of stubborn toilets that did not cooperate after Gus repaired them and departed; he quickly came back the following morning to make an adjustment to get them back to 100% operating shape. He then followed up with me the next day to ensure they were working properly. Despite a couple minor hiccups, Gus ensured the job was done completely and properly. He followed up appropriately and provided written estimates along with receipt of payment. Bottom line: would I hire him again? Yes.

Excellent job. I am very impressed. Gus was very responsive. He returned my phone calls or emails promptly. He kept me informed and work around my schedule. All three of the guys, Gus, Alex and Alberto, were very professional and personable. They're all perfectionists. They did a great job and great clean up afterwards. I thought the estimate was reasonable. But, I was even more impressed when he honored the estimate even though one of the repairs took 3-4 hours longer than expected, because of the age of the house. Mastronardi Construction is now my "go to" company for anything needed around the house. I already have him estimating other jobs.

The installation went very well. In about 10 minutes Gus replaced the old fixture with one with a double light, and included two CFL bulbs. He made sure I was satisfied with the work. The new lights work perfectly and we are completely satisfied. I would certainly hire him again.

We will for sure be calling Gus back with our household repair needs!

Gus worked with me to find a good time to not only evaluate what I needed done, but also finish all the work. He was personable, punctual, and so helpful.

It went GREAT! Gus and his guys Alex and Alberto did a stellar job tearing out the damaged family room ceiling and installing new drywall. The job took less than a week and the guys were punctual, friendly and very professional. They were also very kind and understanding towards my elderly parents. They did a beautiful job and the room actually looked better than it ever had before. They even cleaned up after they were done. If you're looking for a company that provides quality work and does exactly what they say they will do, then call Mastronardi Construction. I won't hesitate to call them in the future.

In three hours they got the damaged roof off and replaced it with 5/8" sheathing over the existing trusses. A layer of asphalt rolled roofing went over this, and a drip edge was installed around the perimeter of the roof. Metal flashing with roof caulk was placed where the house side shingles had been torn off when the roof blew off. They did a very good job and cleaned up the site when done. I am very satisfied.

The contractor's staff were courteous, very careful and most professional, completed assigned tasks on time better results than expected, and the contractor himself was there most of the time making both my wife and I were satisfied with the work.

This Contractor did a very good job. All work was completed on time and work was completed in a very professional Manner. I am the owner of a Asset Management Company - I receive Repair Orders for Bank Owned Homes in the state of Ohio. Mastronardi Construction has been one of my Sub Contractors for Several Years now. He has completed various work orders for me over the past few years. They have performed Repairs for just about every aspect of Handy man and General Remodeling Services. This Contractor is Very skilled in the areas of Plumbing Repairs, Windows, General remodeling, Roof Replacement and Repairs, HVAC Repairs, Door and Lock Repairs, etc. I would not Hesitate to use Mastronardi Construction for any of my Handyman and General Remodeling needs in The Future.

They did an excellent job. He removed wallpaper, textured the wall, put in new lights and now moulding and also painted the bathroom.

Gus does an absolutely fantastic job! With an 8-unit apartment there is always something or the other that needs a general repair like a leaky faucet, running toilet, lock change, painting, you name it. We have always been able to contact Gus Mastronardi with our list of repairs and he is able to schedule everything fairly quickly so that the tenants are satisfied. He has a great personality and gets along well with the tenants and has developed a great relationship with them where they feel comfortable with having him enter their units when they are away. We thank God that he is able to take care of these small projects as we are out of town landlords. I would HIGHLY recommend Mastronardi Construction

We would not be able to handle this building long distance without him. He is VERY responsive and is fair in his pricing. I would highly recommend him. He is starting to get very busy so it may take some time to get on his schedule but he is trustworthy and will complete the project as promised

Excellent. We love the completed transformation. Removed drop celling and installed drywall with recessed lighting; new carpeting; closed other half of basement by extending existing wall and new door installation.
