Call their office in the morning. They sent a person to my house around noon to check it out. Unfortunately, I was not at home at the moment. So John rescheduled Mathew to come over the next day. All through the process, they communicated with me very well. Mathew came over and checked a few things. He found it was a bad controller. He replaced the controller and all the supporting devices very efficiently. Reprogrammed remote control, keypad etc. The new opener is much quiter now. I like it. Highly recommend.

It was a fair price and done very well. It was a painless process. The experience was how you always want a service provider to be.

They are always helpful over the phone, helping me to confirm what I need and whether or not the installation will be possible myself, and they have what I need in stock. They are my "go-to" business for garage door needs.

Genie of Fairview succeeded in making both of my ancient garage doors easily operable. There are no electric lifters and one of the 4 springs was broken. The job on the left door was completed by the first serviceman who politely told me that the right door could not be completed unless some and quot;stuffand quot; was moved, allowing the placement of a ladder to do the work. The second visit was scheduled at my convenience and completed my a different serviceman, also very polite and considerate. 2 springs were replaced on this door. Noticing that people were more likely to be in the garage than cars, he installed safety guards incase of an unlikely breakage of any springs. Though still manual, both doors are easy to lift and lock. Genie was very accommodating at scheduling and rescheduling. The first visit had to be cancelled due to a sudden out of town emergency. Their answering service received my message the evening (after business hrs.) before the service was scheduled. I called to confirm receipt of message first thing next morning before leaving town. They had, and said to just call when I was ready to have the work done and also wished me safe travel. Very professional.

They were prompt. They were here within a day or so of our call. They replaced the unit and did some other little repair work for us. The work turned out good.

The repairman arrived on time. It wasn't an easy job, because our old door is solid wood and quite heavy; but he was pleasant and polite and did a great job.

From the estimate through the installation, it was a very smooth transaction and everyone involved worked to conveinence me.

Genie of Fairview's sales guy, Hank, came out to provide a quote for repairing one panel of a wooden garage door. Hank thought it could be repaired but asked to bring the service manager, Dan, out for a closer look. Dan agreed it could be re-veneered and they provided a quote. Genie of Fairview was the ONLY company who told us the garage door could be repaired and would not have to be replaced. We accepted the quote and the work was scheduled for a few days later. Dan came out to do the work personally along with another employee. They were on time, well organized and cleaned up the work area when done. They resurfaced one panel of one wooden double garage door and replaced seals on the bottom of that door and one other. The door looks great. The seals appear to be better than what we had before. (We will have to wait for a heavy rain to see if the seals really work better but I am betting they will.) We will definitely contact Genie if we need this type of work in the future.

Joe S came a day earlier (great) and got to work. Day before, door randomly opened and closed only halfway. Sometimes did not respond at all to opener switch. Called Wednesday afternoon and was told technician would come Friday. Were worried that could not close door at night. was delighted to have such prompt service. Joe got it running and said might have over heated. So far, it is operating fine.

The service provided was timely and the technician was efficient and friendly in that he answered my general questions about garage doors.
