Description of Work: I was having a problem with my washing machine in that it was emitting a sewer-type smell when in the wash cycle. I called Jim at Action Plumbing to explain the problem and schedule an appointment for him to come out and fix it. He immediately knew what the issue was and explained to me over the phone how to fix it myself and saved me both the time and money of having to schedule an appointment. He was courteous, professional and thorough in explaining to me what to do even though I was not a paying customer.

Description of Work: I used this company for a slow kitchen drain. Keith snaked drain from kitchen and snaked in basement. Two months later drain is still working fine. He recommended a replacement of a portion of pipe that is still cast iron. I will consider that in the near future and would call Action for that job.

Description of Work: I called on Mon. Jan 9th. Woman who answered the phone got in touch with plumber and he called back within the hour. I needed to haave the PSI checked in my expansion tank that they attached to the water line going into our hot water tank. I told them there was not rush. The owner called the next morning and was out within an hour. Very professional, very punctual. He said the charge should have been $59.00 but gave me a discount; this was before I told him I was an Angie's List customer.

Found the problem quickly, repaired the pipe, cleaned up nicely, gave advice for avoiding the same problem in the future. Did not repair the wall, but had made it clear before starting that they would not do this. I have used them several times, and they have always been punctual, professional, and tidy.
