Ace Wildlife Service

It went ok. I was a little dismayed when we finally caught the raccoon , The company was unable to remove the animal until the next day. The weather was very hot.. I am not sure I would ever have another animal removed again unless serious damage is being done. I have since found out the animals are not relocated but destroyed according to state of Ohio law , and I have a problem with that

The rep showed up on time and set the trap as expected. Was very interactive with my children and informative. Although the pest was not captured, he returned on time as promised, removed the trap, left a bill and an estimate for further services.

I saw raccoons crawling up my patio supports and getting onto the roof. From there they entered the attic above the garage. I called Ace and Travis came out within a few days. Great response from Ace. Travis answered calls promptly and was on time for appointments. Once raccoons were removed, he came back and gave me an estimate on repairing the damaged section of roof, and within a week, my roof was repaired. I haven't had any problems since. The entire process (trap five raccoons & roof repair)took about three weeks. Nice job!

Very well, it seems to have scared the raccoons off, or at least for the time being.

The customer service was excellent. They were on time and willing to come back out after they did work the first time. There were a few that they had to come back for and they did that with no complaints. I would recommend them.

We contacted Ace Wildlife Service to remove the racoons living under our deck. We called them on a Tuesday afternoon and they had a representative there the very next morning. Ace Wildlife set a trap and the first racoon was caught by that evening. They came promptly the next morning and removed the racoon and set another trap. The second raccoon was caught by the next morning and Ace came out the same afternoon to remove the animal from the premises. They were professional, knowledgable and courteous. The only issue we had was the representative was about a half hour late for the first visit, however he called in a timely fashion to let us know that he was delayed.

I was able to speak to a person at the time of initial telephone call. I had called another company first, talked to an answering machine, but my call was never returned. Sam called shortly after I made the initial call, and we made an appointment for the next day. He came the next day and set a trap, then had to come to reset the trap after it was tripped by an animal who got away. That night a racoon was caught, and Sam came the next day to remove the animal, although it was a weekend. He determined that a groundhog had also been living under the deck and then came with a co-worker, and the two dug the trench and installed the screen. No further animal activity has been observed.

Very professional and responsive. Did outstanding work with a great price.

A day after the initial call, Travis and an assistant came and set traps, returned after I reported a captured critter, and removed it.

I liked them because they were very professional and friendly. I was really pleased with them.

I had squirrels in my attic for the second time in 2 months. I had called another animal control group who put traps in the attic and finally got rid of them, but told me that I would have to call someone to repair the ridge vent since this is the only place they could figure (they really did not know. This was just a guess) out that the squirrels were getting in.Ace never even entered my home. They got on the roof and figure out where the squirrels were coming in (not the ridge vent). They set traps and once they trap the squirrels repaired the area so that the squirrels could no longer get access to my attic.I wish I had called them in the first place. I highly recommend them since they really do know their business.Thanks Ace!!!!!!!!

Mike came promptly on the Monday morning after Easter and crawled into our attic and saw the raccoon that we suspected was there. He set up traps on the roof to catch the animal. He came every day to inspect the traps until the raccoon was caught. Then, he made covers for our roof fans to prevent any further animals entering and covered the fireplace chimney, as well. Luckily, there was no damage in the attic, but clean up could have been part of his service, too. We were very pleased with the service that we received.

Ace Wildlife's agreement was very fair.

We ended up getting our cat back another way, but if it happened again, I would use them in addition to other methods of recovery.

Called company re a bat that was flying around my bedroom. They came out very fast and the technician spent alot of time tring to find it. He was not able to find the bat and gave me some suggestions as to what to do if I saw it again. He went in my attic and on the roof to see if there was current bat activity. As it turned out we did see it 2 days later and my dog killed it. I contacted the technician and asked for an estimate for sealing up the crevices in the roof and installing a one way bat door.

I had a mother raccoon and her babies in an old unusable (and inaccessible) chimney. I called Ace Wildlife on a Friday and was told they could send someone out the following Tuesday or Wednesday. Their technician Travis came to our home the following Wednesday and placed a trap on our roof near the chimney. We left it there for a week and still no raccoon. I called Travis and he came out within a few hours to remove the trap and put a rag soaked in coyote urine down the chimney. He returned the following day, saw that there were no raccoons left in the chimney, and capped the top of it. Travis was a pleasure to work with. He was polite, punctual, kept us informed of the techniques he was using, and always responsive to my phone calls. It's been a few weeks since we had the work done and the cap seems to be holding so far. Overall, I had a really great experience with Ace.

I have waited about 3 months to submit this report in order to make sure that Ace's repairs worked. They have, and we are extremely pleased with Ace's work and the price we paid for it.

They were fine. I thought that I had critters in my attic. They put traps for at least a week. Then they called me said that if there was nothing, they would take the traps down. There was nothing in the trap. They were very polite.

It was very good. He also repaired the area that the racoon entered and fortified it so it would not happen again.

Overall things went well. The skunk has not been back since the work was done, thank goodness! The barrier is well done and is definitely not an eye sore. The only issue I had was with communication. I wasn't called back when I was told I'd be called back, and even though I told the person who came out to do the estimate that I didn't want my rose bush taken out, the person doing the work called me to get permission to take it out. They were able to work around the plant in the end after talking to me. But overall the work is solid, I'd recommend this company to others.

They got the job done professionally. I am very happy with them.

This was a very serious issue. They sent teenagers to come and remove the rats. The teenagers were polite, however they didn't have any experience in rat removal. I told the service man who I spoke with over the phone that he needed to be the one to come and service my home, as he had more experience. I felt like I went in circles with this business. The teenagers would come and check the rat traps. They wanted to dig under my porch and install a barrier. However, I have a beautiful tree near the porch that I did not want to be destroyed. I made arrangements for an arborist to meet with Ace Wildlife Services to discuss working around the tree. This never happened. Previously when I used their services under different management I was satisfied. However, since they have changed management and service men, I have been disappointed and ended up hiring another company to take care of the rat problem.

Another case of utter disregard for common courtesy toward customers. I've used Ace in the past to install a cap on my chimney and was happy with the job they did. So recently, I asked them to give me an estimate on securing my home from animal entry. They provided the estimate, and soon afterward, I called the technician who gave me the quote to tell him I had chosen Ace to do the work. I left him a voicemail. About a week later, because I had not heard back from the technician, I left a voicemail with the main office to report that I wanted to hire them but had not heard back from the technician. That was more than a week ago, and still no word from Ace. Here I am, a good, paying customer who gave Ace a positive Angie's List report on the work they did for me previously, yet they apparently could not care less about keeping me as a customer. If there's a reason they've chosen not to do this new work for me, why did they bother giving me a written estimate? And why haven't they at least contacted me to explain any reticence they might have about doing this job? Instead, they've decided to simply ignore my voicemails and forfeit a job that would have been worth $445 to $595 to them. That's rude and careless, and it's certainly no way to conduct a business.

They were responsive and collected the traps in a timely manner. The bill was exactly as they quoted. The two different guys who came out were both professional and to-the-point. When I called in the morning, if I got voicemail, they called back if I asked or responded to collect the trap without any other hassle. When I asked what happened to the animals that were trapped, they answered without any excuses and were very clear about their process and how it complied with state laws, which I also appreciated (even if I wish there were better ways to deal with these issues).

I originally sent in a bad report because I was annoyed about their performance after taking the trap away. They did not send a bill and did not respond to numerous voice mails that I left for them. I could not find out what they were planning to do. After a while I decided that they would not send me a bill because they did not catch anything and revised my report to reflect this. Today, after a month, they finally came over with the bill. I would like to change my report again to reflect their poor performance. If I owe someone money I like to know about it and not have it hanging like this was.
