Description of Work: The pipe going from our basement to our septic tank cracked and broke yesterday. I called a plumber who was very good and helped me out, but he found out the pipe had cracked and told me I needed to get somebody to dig it up and fix it from the outside, he also warned us not to use our toilets till we got it fixed. Anyway I called a number of companies but the only one that answered my call was King Bros. They were here this morning by 10:00 am or so and done before noon. They were professional, friendly and very helpful. They even replanted a shrub for me that they had to move in the dig. That is above and beyond the call of duty in my book. I will call them again if I ever need any work done, and I will recommend them to anyone who needs excavating.

Description of Work: I called on King Bros. searching for ideas to control flooding of two apartment buildings. I was quite desperate, as we had been running pumps for 3 days trying to keep out the water. Finally I called King Bros. and asked them what they could do for me as a permanent fix in a short amount of time. Rex King Sr. & Jr. were onsite within a half hour and took topographical readings to see what was possible. They suggested digging a ditch with a small track-hoe that could handle the type of water that was entering our property. They even had the idea of using the excavated clay to form a d on the side of the ditch away from the buildings, effectively providing yet another layer of protection. All this still sounded like a big project to me, but within an hour they returned with the track-hoe and were up and running in 10 minutes. With one man operating the machine, and another guiding him with a laser they had the ditch dug within 2 hours and were loaded up. My parking lot which had been knee high in water was drained, and best of all, the ditch they dug also drained the source of the water behind us. When I checked today, less than 24 hours later, the ditch was completely dry and my tenants could once again use their parking lot and get to their dumpster.
