+ -1 moreWhen the person came over to drop the wood off, I had been told that the wood was seasoned. When looking at it, it was clear that the wood was not seasoned as long as I was told it was. It was wet looking, and did not look as if it would be good to burn this year. (This was last year). I decided to not get the wood from him.
Description of Work: I was looking for firewood.

+ -1 moreI graded this an F in price since I couldn't imagine a cord of unstacked firewood selling for more than $300.
Description of Work: I called Ray's Tree Service to inquire about the price and availability of firewood. My call was returned by Ray Swenton. I was told that Angie's List was wrong in the prices that they quote, and that the actual price was $150 per pick-up truck load and un-stacked. Mr. Swenton said that his pick-up held about a half of a cord of wood. That comes to $300 per cord...Extremely expensive. I told him that I could not afford that price.
