DAN'S TREE SERVICE

He gave us a quote. He said he would do the work. He did not do the work and would not return our calls.

Dan Wards tree service from Norwalk, OH, Very neat- hardly a leaf or twig left behind. Glad I called them. Did what would have taken me weeks to do, they did in one day. They do not remove stumps. This is done by another gentleman, Jeff Rhoad. All were very accommodating with our hectic schedule.

Out of business?

It was only and estimate but very helpful & knowledgeable.

My experience with Dan's Tree Service was excellent. He came in and he was quick and clean. The price he quoted us was the price he gave us. There wasn't anything that he found that something would of happened. Everything was fine and he did a very good job.

The company was very quick to come and give a estimate but the service took 6 months to perform the removal of the pine and trimmings and all of the estimate work was never completed. We still have a large maple tree in the front yard which was supposed to be trimmed this spring but they never returned.

Dan came out during the snow and gave us an estimate for the work. They came back a week later when the weather was better, cut down two trees, ground stumps, stacked wood near fence line and left me a pile of wood chips. I now know the names of the trees in our new yard and should not have to do any more tree trimming for 5 years.

They never called back.

Called Dan - he provided an on-site estimate, scheduled a time to come out, pruned and trimmed trees and bushes and ground out stumps for us as well. Dan was courteous and provided excellent local knowledge of types of trees and bushes. He stuck to his estimate and cleaned up after his work.

Needing the service we received the name from a friend following this up by calling Angie's List. Feeling their price was satisfactory for work on 14 trees, 2 removal and grinding of stumps plus a friend was satisfied and thought enough of them to recommend.

Dan and his assistant were very efficient and careful. They arrived on time and went right to work. They did exactly what I wanted and gave me good advice on other trees. They allowed me to save some money by picking up the chopped wood and branches myself.

Quote was timely and competitive. Arrived when scheduled and completed the work on time. Exceptional work ethic and treated my property as it was his. Made sure I was completely happy.

We called Dan for an estimate to clear many trees in our backyard. Our builder had cut a few trees, and left them all laying in our woods, and we also had a lot of small straggly trees we wanted cleared. Basically we just wanted our backyard cleared out. Dan gave us the best/lowest estimate by far (we had 4 others), including cutting down multiple small trees, a couple larger ones, stump grinding, chipping it, and cutting off the dead part of a large tree. He considered our job small, so ended up just calling us the morning that he would do the work. We came home from work to a cleared out backyard, they had cleaned up any mess, had not disturbed any of our landscaping. He was responsive, prompt and professional and I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

He was really good. Work and clean up was done well, really nice job. He was extremely fair in price.

Besides being very professional, competent, and friendly, they were fun to watch as they climbed into the trees and performed their work. All branch removal was done safely. They left the resulting wood nicely cut and stacked. And, did a nice job of cleanup.
