We were recently notified by the city that are story and sewer lines were crossed, and they needed to be separated. Our house failed a downspout dye test used by the city. We contracted with Angelo to give us an estimate of the work. We scheduled an initial appointment (date and time) and the day of he didn't show... I called him and he said he got busy, and re-scheduled. On this occasion he came out and recommended he video scope the lines to learn more about the connection, which we agreed to ($450). This fee was paid, we learned very little about our program, and we never heard again from the vendor.

We had Angelo come out on May 13th to video inspect our septic and storm sewer lines. We're new to the neighborhood, and recently learned by the city that we had a "cross-connection" that needed to be remedied. Before digging, Angelo rightfully suggested we video the lines to see if this was the case, and if so, where it was. In the process of doing this, we learned more about where we need to excavate to make the repair, and he seemed very knowledgeable. We're now in the process of waiting for him to: 1. Send over a quote for the cross-connection "fix" which will involve excavation to make the repair. 2. Send over a quote for possible basement water proofing We haven't heard back yet but I know this is his busy season. I will keep this review updated as we learn more about our full experience with this company for readers.
Description of Work: Video Inspected Our Septic and Storm Sewer Lines
Angelo came out and assessed my situation. He took the time to listen to my needs and asked questions to help make a recommendation. He proposed an idea that I had not considered for my sewer tie in. Several years earlier I waterproofed the foundation and I really did not want to disturb that work. I also had landscaping around the house that would be ruined. Angelo suggested that he could drill (horizontal bore) under the house. This would keep the excavating about 10 feet away from the house. This method cost a little more, but was well worth it. After the drilling, he popped a hole in the basement floor and slid in the pipe. Very professional, prompt and courteous. They also cleaned up very well.

Angelo Salvatore Excavating was subcontracted by Bob McHugh of McHugh Plumbing after Bob was unable to open the blocked storm sewer with his equipment. Angelo arrived with his crew early in the morning ready to work. They were very persistent with a difficult block. Angelo commented that he enjoyed a challenge, he must have loved this job. It certainly was a challenge. They were ultimately successful due to there diligence and expertise. Thank you Angelo and crew and also thanks to Bob for sending them out!
