JOB WENT VERY WELL!

My house is all brick but one third of the front is siding. It was aluminum and they replaced that with hardie board. I have nothing but good things to say about them. They were on time. They did the work and it looks beautiful. Hardie board is better quailty than the previous product and I am happy with it.

I liked the fact that the job was nicely done in the time frame they said.

Ian Holmes was extremely responsive to our initial request for an estimate and was out within a few days of submitting our initial e-mail. He was flexible with times, agreeing to meet with us at 6:30 in the evening. He was well prepared and extremely knowledgable about our existing siding and what benefits his product would provide. He quickly took measurements and provided the answers to all of our questions at the time of the estimate. We also had samples to review that night to aid us in our decision making. He was not pushy, and took as much time as we needed to understand his process. We were provided a formal estimate within 48 hours and did not receive any high pressure sales. After receiving multiple estimates, we found Holmes to be the best deal in town and Ian was the sales representative (and owner) we trusted the most. Once we decided to book the job, he was able to schedule us within the month and work was done within one week. The crew was terrific -- very professional and clean. At the end of each day, you would have no idea someone had been working on the house all day! The house looks amazing and well worth the investment. Ian's continued flexibility to meet with us in the evening, and even on a Saturday morning for the final walk through, was very much appreciated. I would very highly recommend Holmes for your siding needs! Great customer service, great crew and great price!

Ian was on time, gave a fair estimate, and did not try to up sell additional work. The work was performed on schedule and with no mess left behind. The repairs look great and since he used good materials, in addition to the gutter having been repaired, there should not be a repeat of the problem. Since I already had the paint to complete the repair work, he reduced his bill from the original estimate. I will call Ian Holmes win the future.

Work was not actually completed.

It went very well. It took nearly 3 weeks for a crew of 4-5 people and Ian Holmes was there supervising and doing the work himself most of the time.This was in line with what we expected and were told.

See above NOTE. I fully expect that Holmes would perform the work to my total satisfaction based on the knowledge demonstrated and professionalism Ian exhibited in our interaction.

We chose to go with Holmes for 2 reasons: 1) they stated in their proposal and contract that the Hardee board would be installed to manufacturer recommendations, and 2) they provided the most complete solution to problems on the north side of the house (remove the entire section and replace with Hardee board). The work actually got off to a slightly rocky start - the crew actually started working by taking off the siding on the lower section of the north side of the house (not the upper section where the problems were! I caught the mistake after an hour or two, but it did create a little stress. However, the measure of a company isn't in whether it makes mistakes, it's in how they handle them. Holmes handled this mistake beautifully: he had more Hardee board delivered, and they replaced that section of the north side as well. The crew was punctual, worked hard, and got the job done quickly. We are very happy with the results, and will definitely consider them again when we are ready to replace the siding on the front and back of the house (the side that didn't get addressed this time).

He was very responsive in coming out for the appointment and got back quickly with proposal. The proposal was on the higher side and I need to get it evaluated further. My experience with them was very good. I don?t have any complains. I would consider them in future.

They are excellent! Ian is very professional, trustworthy, is an excellent listener, and keeps his word. When siding problems have come-up, he has addressed each of them quickly and easily. Having our house re-sided has certainly increased the value of our home.
