Ervin Plumbing Solutions

We bought an older home about 5 yrs ago and have been dealing with the same leak for about 3 years (hot water won't fully shut off in the shower). Many attempts were made to fix the problem, but none lasted so I called Ervin PS. Matt was amazing! He let me know when he was on his way. Asked if it was ok if he was a few minutes early. Great personality and easy to work with. And replaced the faucet handle I cracked. I appreciate that he informed me of the problem/solution and look forward to working with Ervin PS in the future

Matthew was great to interact with and advised me where to purchase faucets. After he left, I began having problems with the ice maker leaking. He acknowledged the problem but never came back to fix it. I had to hire another plumber to repair the ice maker.

Matthew was great. On time, quick and very helpful. We just sold our home and had an inspection that needed a few plumbing issues addressed. I will definitely use him next time and highly recommend him.

Matthew is very reasonable, polite and gets the job done quickly. I would highly recommend him. He also replaced my sump pump.

At first things were great, he came right away and fixed everything I asked him to fix. Then after he left I started having some problems. The basins for the faucets he replaced are not holding any water, and the one he installed in the kitchen is basically falling off. He also said he was going to come back to pick up my old water softener after replacing it with a new one, but he has never come back to pick it up. My water now has a brown tinge and my glassed are now spotted, which is frustrating. I have tried to contact him several times and it feels like he is dodging my calls, I called him from a friends phone last week and he finally picked up and said he would call me back. He still has not called me back. I am very disappointed with the Ervin Plumbing, I have used him in the past and my brother uses him too. I planned on using him again for a couple more jobs, but now I am somewhat unsure if I will use him again.

Matthew is terrific. Communication was great. The service was great. And, I really appreciate his desire to show, teach, and guide on the repairs and decisions.

I've used them several times. He has done a couple things with us but just the feeling that he was honest about things that we had no idea what he was talking about. We were ready to replace the entire bathroom, this goes back a year, and he came in and honestly told us that he would do all the work but it ended up being a simple little process. That was what impressed us about him. I remember it being a leak behind the wall and it wasn't because of our shower falling apart. He is a trustworthy person. He could have taken us for $2,000-3,000 easily and it ended up costing us $150. So I would call him every time I need something done for plumbing. He's really high on my list for everything.

Mr. Erwin was very professionally dressed, courteous and prompt. We had three items replaced, garbage disposal and two facets including new drain kit for powder room. Mr. Erwin did not have a problem that I purchased the items on my own instead of going through him. We were able to have all parts available when he arrived so we only had to incur one service call. He reflected in our price the savings from a previous quote. He did need to get one or two parts but was able to obtain them quickly to finish the job in a few hours. He even removed the pedestal sink from the wall in the powder room before starting on the kitchen to give me time to finish removing the last bits of hard to reach wallpaper, apply spackle and a quick coat of paint behind and around the sink.

Matt was very professional, very polite, clean, polished and personable which I truly appreciated. He even helped me carry the heavy water softener upstairs to my garage. Matt called back in a timely fashion and showed up as scheduled. Only issue was when the sump pump got installed, a flow valve that had been in the pipe line from previous install had gotten loose after the install and water had sprayed everywhere. Luckily my wife discovered. That said, I have to say Matt was VERY apologetic about that, came out the next day and made it a priority (over family plans) to get it fixed properly. I also appreciated the fact he takes credit cards at no extra cost.

Matt was wonderful. He worked at a quick pace, got the right parts on the first try and helped us save thousands of dollars, as we thought we were looking at a total remodel because of the potential damage to our bathroom floor and wall. He also helped us dry what was wet, made sure that this was the only problem we had. Bathroom remodelers had come to us to give us quotes, but none had suggested that we really did not have that big of a problem. Matt explained to us the good news and we are greatful for an honest man, doing an honest job.

We called to confirm the appointment on Friday, but only got voice mail. We called again on Monday, and got voice mail. We called again on Tuesday, and only got voice mail. We have not heard from Matt again, and we wonder what what happened to him. Hopefully he is OK. Net: We had to find another plumber.

My water heater needs to be replaced so he will be sending me a quote, but he did take care of the hose bib and toilet very quickly. He was very professional and easy to get along with. He did not know much about my particular model of water softener but he did take a look at it and everything was in working order.
