Description of Work: Mike completed an install of our home theater system. He recommended speakers, receiver, woofer, harmony hub and remote along with other materials. He installed 7 speakers into the walls and moved outlets to insure a clean, crisp look.

Description of Work: I needed a 50 inch flat screen TV taken down and another 50 inch put back up there. I called two people and one guy told me would start giving me all these contingencies on what could go wrong. The hardware or mount, he ask me if I had that and I said no. He said well I might need that and so that might cost a little more. He started giving me all these contingencies of what could go wrong. Then he said in order to do that it would be $270.00 and mind you I paid $500.00 for the TV. I had another person call after that person and I had already told the other guy relunctantly to come on out and do it. Then the other guy called and I will give you his name later because he was great. I told him I didn't need him because I had already got somebody to do it. He said do you mind if I ask how much it cost and I told him no because I want to know if that is a decent price. I said no I don't mind and I told him how much it was. He said I could have done it because it was a simple job. The other guy was telling me all about these contingencies that there was a problem with and he was telling me 2$75.00. This guy said no when you put up one of those wall mounts, most of the people we ask them if want the hardware and they say no. They don't want stuff sitting around the house and they let him take it and saves it. He said he has all the hardware and that is not a big deal and not sure why the guy would say that. He really didn't want to low ball him or criticize him but he was just saying this is the way he would do it. He came up and he did it for $75.00. Description of Work: Mike installed our 50" TV on our stone fireplace. He gave us the name of an online company where we could purchase the TV mount for a very reasonable price. He used a carpenter, Jack, to build a rough cedar mantle below the TV. Mike hid all the cables inside the mantle cavity, he placed an outlet inside the mantle and also concealed the wires going to the electrical outlet in the adjoining wall.

Description of Work: Mike and his assistant purchased all the connectors, cords, wires, wall bracket, etc. I just bought the receiver, blue ray, and surround sound speakers. They showed up and worked for six hours straight, and did not leave until they explained how some of the items worked. They even ran the test for the speakers to ensure they were properly adjusted for 5.1 surround sound. Ran wires under the carpet and up through the walls. It was obvious they have been doing this for a while. I was very impressed when Mike called two days later to make sure everything was working properly.

Description of Work: Mike set up a 46" LCD TV on the wall on a tilt and swivel wall mounting. He ran the wires through the wall and also installed a power connection behind the TV with a surge protector. He had to drill through the stud to get the power cable to run from the existing outlet to the new one behind the TV. Mike also rewired the a/v receiver to the wall connectors for the surround sound speakers and ran the cables under the carpet. Mike also programmed the cable remote to operate the TV and DVD player and explained the functions that the common remote can perform. The TV looks great on the wall and the cables are completely invisible. The audio cables are also hiding under the carpet and work great!

Description of Work: Mike came out and did a site survey first and explained what all needed to be done and gave me a quote. Upon acceptance, Mike installed my flat screen TV, mounted it on the wall and concealed all cables inside wall down to the TV stand. All of my components were setup to this new TV. He had to relocate an electrical outlet and put behind flat panel TV because of code. He explained how to work my TV and components. He cleaned up after himself and wore shoe covers. He placed a tarp under all areas where he was working. He was courteous and took the time to answer all of my questions. After the install of the TV, he also changed some of my ceiling light fixtures in my house.
