We are very satisfied overall and highly recommend Mr. Rooter. Mr. Rooter has set the standards high in plumbing.

Alex, as usual showed up with his infectious smile and his blue booties. I had called company around 1pm due to water leaking from base of toilet after flushing. I had turned water off. Alex showed up, for urgent call, within 2 hours of call. ( He worked me in). He said the flapper seal had flattened out. He replaced it without cost since he had just installed the new toilet in August. (The problem was toilet, not work he had done for me). Once again, he did a great job. He is my Plumber for life. Nice to have such great Customer Service--hard to find anymore.

Mr Rooter had someone at my house the same day, in fact he arrived earlier than expected. I received a phone call to confirm the earlier arrival was acceptable. The person who did the work diagnosed the problem and checked several other things to be sure there were no additional problems. The work was done promptly & professionally.

Josh arrived punctually within the given time frame. He put on his booties as described on the website. Josh evaluated the work and gave the estimate. His experience was obvious. He corrected the commode issues and repeatedly tested to be sure it was right before leaving. He was well groomed and mannerly, and knew his plumbing well. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

I called at 8:00 Am Saturday morning to request service. The phone rep was very friendly and said someone would be out within the hour. At 9:00 am the doorbell rang. Alex was very courteous, friendly and professional. He asked how we heard of the company and I advised that I looked in both the yellow pages and Angie’s list. He gave us a $65 discount for being an Angie’s List member, which was double the discount indicated on Angie’s List. The total cost was $130, which in hindsight I think was kind of high for half an hour's work. However, I really needed it taken care of. As Alex was clearing the drain, he indicated that we had 2 blockages, and he got both of them. He cleaned up after himself, and also informed us that one of our connectors was bad. He would have replaced it had he had the part on the truck. I was very pleased with the work and service. Then a few days later, I received a thank you letter from the company which included 2 coupons for $25 off any future plumbing and electrical job (Mr. Electric) How sweet is that?

The plumber was prompt and professional. Unfortunately, his estimate was higher than a competitor.

We've had a persistent problem with our sewer line backing up every fall, requiring us to rooter the line and clean out roots. Several other companies have done the work over the past 6 years, claiming we have clay tile and the only solution is to rooter it every year or spend about $5,000 and several days to dig up and lay new connectors (which we declined). This year other companies wouldn't even do the basic work so I called Mr. Rooter to see if they could help out. Alex came out promptly on short notice and evaluated the problem. He gave us a quote on the spot to fix the real issue that was less than half the price of the other company and he committed to have it done that day. Alex called in Collin to help out and they finished the work professionally and efficiently. These are the best plumbers I've ever had and recommend them without any reservations. It is clear that the other plumbers I've called in the past were either improperly trained or not completely truthful since we don't have clay tile, the problem was 2 feet from the house (not half way to the city sewer) and they pulled out a giant root mass that had been there for years. Customer service on the phone was excellent; the plumber came out the same morning and was extremely thorough and professional. He came up with a very inexpensive solution to the problem and fixed the toilets for free. We will definitely use again!

He had a special technique with plunging and was able to fix the clog very quickly. He certainly knew what he was doing and was very experienced.

Alex did an excellent job overall and I would use them again. It was not an easy job, but he perservered and got it done.

The basement sewer drain was backing up on the basement floor(yuck!) I called a few companies for quotes. Had no idea what to expect . Mr Rooter came out the same day I called, were willing to meet competitor pricing, and got the job done the same day. I had their senior tech - Alex Harrison. who was wonderful - courteous, efficient, and very knowledgeable. He recommended their high powered water system for my situation. He put a camera on the hose tip so that I could watch as it cut through roots in the line that were causing the blockage. When it was done he cleaned up the area, and I paid the bill, which i am happy to report, was exactly what they had quoted. They have my thumbs up for a recommendation. ( and I'd highly recommend Alex if you can get him) I would use them again in the future without any hesitation. (With any luck though, I won't need to)

Alex arrived at 10 with a smile and booties on to protect my floors. He came within 24 hours of call of needing service of toilet not sealing. Alex took out defective report and replaced it with a new one we had bought. The seal did not hold. He told me I could keep trying to replace seal or get a new toilet. He told me American Standards have this problem. After some discussion, I ask Alex to put in a new toilet. He left and came back with new toilet and Jeremy to assist. Alex took out old toilet & took it outside. He got down on his hands and knees to dry up water that spilled out of toilet he was carrying. While he put new toilet in Jeremy cleaned my downspouts from the curb entrances. Alex and Jeremy was courteous and professional the entire time. They even put things back as they found them upon entry (rug). I now have a fully functioning toilet and clean drains. Only problem with drains is the puzzle of where the peanuts came from:)

I was very impressed with Alex and his company. This turned out to be a lot harder job then he had anticipated. But he stuck with the original estimate even after all the time and effort he put in and I was very pleased about that. I also like the fact that I could call in on Sunday and get on the Monday schedule without having to mess around Monday morning trying to get through. A wonderful job.

The service agent, Alex Harrison, was incredibly helpful. Took care of the problem in minutes and even continued to check the system for a bit longer to ensure the clog did not reappear. Alex was on time, courteous, and professional. I'd call on Mr. Rooter again any time

I needed an emergency plumbing service on a Sunday because all of our drains (excluding the toilet-thank God) were backing up into the bathtub. The first place I called quoted me $500.00 to snake a drain on a Sunday. I called Mr. Rooter. They charge the same rate for Sunday service and were able to dispatch someone that morning. The serviceman was polite and efficient. He was there within 2 hours and the cost was $130.00 after a $50.00 coupon offerred on line. I will definitely call them for plumbing issues!

We were very fortunate that we did not get too much water in our basement. They guy Adam Elmswick that came out did a very good job and in fact he was here for 4 or 5 hours. We paid about $635 for that work and that included a brand new sump pump which he went out and got. The sump pump was $352.40 and was a one horse pump. My wife called them because they were on the list. He stayed here until everything was done and it work right. My wife called them and they were out here probably with an hour. We also got $50 discount and they also gave us a 15% discount for our next visit.

I was so pleased with their responsiveness, professionalism and price. The gentleman that came wore covers over his shoes and was very considerate of our house. Since he was here had him look at 2 other bathrooms, but everything looked good. Through Angie's List there is a $30 coupon, however he told us there is a $50 coupon on their website. The original cost was $170, but $120 with coupon. Will definitely use them again.

There was water backing up on the ground near the sump pump. After excavation, it was determined that the roots of a small bush were blocking the flow, causing the back-up, and had damaged the pipes. I was quite impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of both Alex and Jeremy. They kept me abreast of everything they were doing and why, answering all of my questions. When they were finished, they were careful to leave my yard, sidewalk, and even the street in front of my house as clean and tidy as possible.

It was a lot of work. They were very good. I found them on Angie's List and they gave me a discount for that. The drain was old and cracked and was leaking. They had to cut into the wall. I went with him because he got good ratings on Angie's List, he is one of the smaller companies, and he is in my neighborhood. I always like to try and give the little guys the business. The big guys with the name recognition always get the phone call. I always go through and find the ones that still get good ratings but have fewer reports on them. I have been in small business before so I appreciate what it's like to be the new guy. They were great. The one guy that came didn't have all the stuff he needed so he called the second guy who brought it all in right away. He said he was going to take all day but between the two of them they were done by noon. He was in by 8 and out by noon. He didn't take the time to run back to get the supplies. He had somebody bring them to him. Between the two of them they got the work done quickly. There was no mess for me to deal with. It was a little expensive. I was a little shocked with the price, but they did the job and there were two guys. It was not out of bounds. I know what it costs to have a plumber these days.

We called at 8:30 on a Saturday morning. By 10:00, the technician, Alex, was on site and ready to work. He was extremely courteous and professional. He assesed the problem and attempted less intrusive (and lest costly) methods in an effort to solve the problem in the most cost effective way. The clog ended up requiring a snaking of the drain. Alex obviously knows his trade well and seems to enjoy helping out his customers. We made certain that we acquired his card and will be asking for him personally on future plumbing issues.

They are excellent. They are friendly, professional and responsive.

The experience went very well. I called them on a Saturday morning and they were there on Saturday afternoon without any extra charge so I appreciated that. They were very friendly and efficient. I don't think the price was out of range because this is an old house and the drain gets stopped up quite a bit. I had no problem with them, they did a good job. They told me they can even handle gas lines and so I am planning to hire them again. They did impress me as being fairly knowledgeable and we discussed several things I am planning to have done.

My elderly parents have their house in Worthington on the market and are moving to a sunnier location. Their drain in basement started backing up unexpectedly. They called Roto-Rooter who promptly sent a plumber out. After unsuccessfully snaking the stack, the Roto-Rooter plumber deduced that there were tree lines in the plumbing outside the house. Hi solution was to tear up the yard and put new pipes in. The cost would be about $15,000. My alarmed parents called me so of course the first thing I did was check Angies List. We called Mr. Rooter. They came out the same day, cut some roots around the pipe and succesfully snaked the drain for $500. Thanks to Angies List, my parents saved $14,500!

For what we wanted done it just wasn't satisfactory. He wanted to do the job on time and materials and we weren't willing to do that.
