Same day service. Adam, the technician, was thorough in checking out the leak and honest about the cause. Clogged sink works great. A fair price for what he did. Would use this company again.

Our kitchen sink was clogged and Alex came the same night and had our drain cleared in no time. He was professional, courteous and swift. We would definitely use these guys again. Thanks, Mr. Rooter!

FYI: (Since I don't see a separate comment box, I am using this space to let you know the following: ) I already submitted a hand written report by US mail on the green evaluation report postcard that I had received. I don't want to duplicate what I stated there. Sorry about the mix-up in reporting. Had I not received the post card for the evaluation, I would have used the online evaluation process instead. I was very pleased with the work this company did for me and with the expertise, professionalism, and the 2 plumbers' willingness to solve my plumbing problems!

The pipe around our water shut off valve had developed a small leak and the pipes and the valve itself were badly corroded. Was given appointment same day I called. Received a phone call when plumber was on his way to our home. He gave us an estimate and warned us that there was a slight risk that the pipe coming into our house from the curb could break during repairs because of the condition it was in. If the pipe were to break it would involve excavating it to replace on outside of home. I asked if Mr. Rooter would be able to replace the outside pipe if need be and what the approximate cost would be and he answered all my questions (they do have an excavation crew and he gave me a ball park of the price range). He was unable to start work the same day because there was a problem with my curb box that the water company needed to attend to. After I spoke to water company and had confirmation on when the curb box issue would be resolved I contacted Mr. Rooter and they were able to set up another appointment for that time. On day actual work was done Mr. Rooter called to see if they could arrive earlier than planned, unfortunately I wasn't able to do an earlier time and they were fine with waiting until previously scheduled window. We received another call when plumber was coming to our home. He was able to complete work same day without the pipe coming into our home breaking (phew). Everyone we spoke to was very polite and professional. Plumber did not leave any mess, used shoe covers when coming in home, and explained everything well.

They do a great job. They are prompt, and that is very important to me. They also clean up after themselves.

We had a list of repairs from a recent home inspection report and called up Mr. Rooter to schedule estimates for the projects. We called on Sunday and could have had a technician come out later that evening, but we scheduled it to be done on Monday. Alex H. arrived on time and was able to assess the problems. The drain from the sump pump was disconnected/broken. He dug up the area, was able to quickly go and get the parts, and then fix the drain. For the drain to the curb, Alex indicated he didn't recommend snaking it due to the age of the lines and the risk for damage, but instead recommended having them jetted. He immediately informed me the jet was currently in use but he could get it as soon as it was finished. Both repairs were easily completed in a reasonable amount of time. Alex was very professional and did a great job. We'd definitely call Mr. Rooter again in the future. Thanks for helping us complete these requests so quickly!

Alex cleared our Kitchen sink backup. He is professional and will go out of his way to help you out. Highly recommended!

Mr. Rooter was prompt, courteous and quickly assessed and corrected my problem.

The technician covered his shoes and used a clean mat that he provided before entering the house. He showed superb respect for my home. He quoted a price for the work before it was performed and told us precisely what he needed to do to diagnose the problem. He checked all external plumbing devices first (toilets, showers). He found no problem with these so he proceeded to cut two holes in our ceiling to see if a pipe had burst/was leaking. He made sure to cover the floor with plastic so he could easily clean up the remnants. After not finding any obvious leaks from the pipes, he determined that our shower and bathroom floor needed to be recaulked to ensure no more leaking from the upper level of our home. He was very thorough, honest and professional. I forgot to give him the Angie's List discount when I paid the bill. I called the next day with the coupon and they honored it, no problem. What a great experience!

Alex was prompt and very professional. Covered his shoes before entering our house. Asked to see the problem sink, then the basement and nearest bathroom to the kitchen sink. Also looked at laundry room. Got his handy dandy line to unclog our sink. He had the kitchen sink unclogged in minutes. Before I knew it he had cleaned our sinks, retighted the pipes my husband untighted (to try to fix the sink himself) and cleaned up all the water and debris under the sink. Put all my stuff back under the sink and even cleaned the floor. We definitely need more people like Alex in the world. He was honest, very professional and treated my home like his own. Thank you Alex! Mr. Rooter, give that young man a raise!!!! He's a keeper!

Water was entering the perimeter drain line, entering the sump pump well and being pumped out the street. I needed to determine if it was a main water leak or another issue. After the downspout crew from Mr. Rooter completed their work Dallas came out to evaluate it and review repair options. Later the City Division of Water determined that there was a leak in the main supply line. I contacted Dallas and we set up a date for repair. Dallas and I reviewed options of trenching, directional boring and pulling a new line, the relative costs and the effects on existing trees and plantings. On 9-8-11 the dig crew, Josh and Daniel and Joe were out, along with Marc. They dug at the curb stop, removed 2 sections of sidewalk and a new line was pulled and connected without issue. Dallas had arranged for appropriate City personnel to come out for inspections and or permits during the process, and that happened. The water was turned on, the hole at the curb stop was filled, the sidewalk excavation was filled and marked off with safety tape. Later Mr. Rooter people came back out and poured concrete for the sidewalk, which looks great. This was a great crew, they did a great job.

East downspout line was checked, blockage was found, camera was used on it and would not go into the line the full length of the pipe. They informed me that someone would come out to do an estimate. They did the job well. They informed me that the costs of their work would be folded into the subsequent work needed to resolve my problem on the east line and/or main line repair. That job is rated in a 2nd report.

Repairmen out the day after I called. Prompt and courteous service. They were also very clean. Covered their shoes so they didn't track dirt in the house.

I called Mr. Rooter in the morning, and by that evening I had Alex at my door. I explained our problems and he quickly diagnosed each after thoroughly checking them out. An hour later, he had cleared our downspouts and given us a plan for the kitchen sink (a new faucet). And all of this was on a Friday night. I couldn't have asked for a more professional, friendly experience.

They replaced the seal around the toilet. It is continuing to leak. Update: They came out in response to my complaint with Angie's List immediately and repaired the leak.

The overall experience was very positive.

The repairman was supposed to have arrived between 1 and 3 pm but, apparently he had delays and arrived at about 5:30 pm. Nonetheless, he was highly professional throughout as he heard our explanation of what was occurring with the sump pump. He stated, based on our explanation, that he thought it could be the check valve. He advised he was going to check it. Once review was completed he stated the sump pump was fine but, that the check valve indeed was failing and there was debris (gravel and mud) at the bottom which might have been clogging flow. He provided us with an estimate of repairs. We agreed with the estimate and he proceeded to check if he had a valve in his truck. He stated he did not and would need to purchase one. He left and came back shortly. He did the job very quickly and after completion he explained what had been done and cost for each item.

A technician came out to give an estimate. After an initial consultation he called in the excavation manager, Alex, to come look at the drain pipes and give an estimate. They provided three options: $1100, $2000, and $5100. They urged me toward the most expensive option. When I thought about it over the weekend and called back with more questions, each answer added more money to the estimate. I did not look at the Angie's List reports ahead of calling Mr. Rooter. After looking on Angie's List and calling another company for an estimate I realized that they were definitely over-priced and I felt like they were trying to take advantage of me.

They seemed very thorough. They came twice and finally determined what the problem was. They follow through until they solve the problem. The problem once solved, never becomes a problem. I would use them in the future.

Everything was fine. They are a little pricey but they are reliable. We usually get them out there when we need them.

This is the second time we used Mr Rooter within the last couple of months. The service was excellent and the work was done professionally and competently. A technician was sent out the same day that I called. He was very thorough in his review of the situation and explained in detail what needed to be done. The work was done in a very reasonable amount of time and he tested the work to be sure that it was working properly. He cleaned up the area in which the work was done.

They did good, neat work. He was on time and I've had no trouble with it since the repair.

Overall, the experience went well. The price was reasonable. They provide discounts if you let them know you got their name from Angie's List. I'm happy with their services and I would recommend them to others.
