I called Mr. Rooter to come out and install a new toilet, fix a running toilet, and replace a kitchen faucet. Already purchased the new toilet and kitchen faucet. I called on a Saturday and was told they can come out the next day and there was no extra charge for weekends as that is part of their normal hours. The time they were scheduled to come was between 12-2 pm on Sunday. I received a call at 12:24 stating that all the plumbers were on jobs at the moment and as soon as one became free they would come to my house. At 2:00, they still had not come so I called for an update. I was told they were overbooked and they would be out as soon as they can. The plumber finally came at 3:20. I showed him the work that needed to be done and he put together an estimate. We were shocked at the price - $649. We declined as Home Depot (where we purchased the toilet) would install the toilet for $109 and the faucet for $109. As for toilet that was running and the plumber said it would need to be rebuilt with new parts. My father came to take a look at it. He made a small adjustment to the balloon in less than five minutes and it stopped running after the toilet was flushed. So I'm spent $220 to have the work done versus $649 that Mr. Rooter wanted to charge me. I am very disappointed I called Mr. Rooter over another competitor as they did not come on time which caused me to waste many hours waiting on them and then I didn't get done due to the high estimate.

They were excellent. They are professional; they wore the booties on their feet when they came in the house so it wouldn’t get dirty. They were here all day, and they didn’t charge me for overtime! One of the gentleman even came back the next day to finish things.

Installer did a great job . He removed and replaced tub by hiself all in one day. Thats why i thought price was high for one man for one day.

They fixed the imediate problem but it only lasted 2 weeks. They charged us $400 for what they did. Then said to really fix it the price would be another $3200. So we got another opinion. The second company charged us $300 and fixed the problem completely. They also provided a DVD of the entire drain all the way to the main line. Much more than the 50 feet these people cleared.

Having dealt with Mr Plumber before I knew I needed to get a clean out drain installed . Previously Alex had given me a quote on the work but I didnt have the amt at the time. This week I experienced some drain issues and knew what needed to be done. I called Mr Rooter, told them I was calling with amt Alex requested for work. They scheduled me for next day.Alex called, stated although prices went up he would honor the quote he gave me of $1600. i was SO Happy as I struggled to get that amt. Alex stated he was getting permits and would see me in a.m. Bright early Alex called stated he would have crew on the way . I paid deposit down and the crew was here in 30 mins. They arrived,both men got right to work. throughout the process we talked and they were so friendly and nice sharing stories from news to life events. they got the job done quickly and cleaned up dirt and mud better then I would have ever thought. They even cleaned the street and area where trucks were. These men are freaking AMAZING. They even had problem with the machine needed to clear drains,but Alex was right around corner and used a snake and cleaned out the drains and I am back in action. I cant say enough about Mr Rooter.. EVERYONE on there team is absolutely wonderful.They make you feel so comfortable and secure.Plumbing for me as a single woman with kids is not only important but scarey. I will always trust them and recommend them to anyone for a job big or small. they are honest,trustworthy and men who keep there word. Men who take pride in there work and do a GREAT job and make things so reasonable.

The weather was terrible on the service day and there were many accidents on the roads, but their office kept calling us to let us know that they were coming. Felt sorry for serviceman when he finally arrived after 6 p.m. on a Friday night, because you could tell he had had a terrible day, but he had us all fixed up in less than an hour. I was so happy! My husband had tried to do it himself for over a week and I was at my wit's end with no kitchen sink.

Apparently "flushable" wipes aren't very flushable, so I called Mr Rooter to come out and unclog a toilet that I was unable to fix myself. As fate would have it, Mark and Shawn noticed that my sump pump drain had become disconnected outside and the water was spilling on the ground just outside of my house, instead of making it to the road where it should go. More money than I wanted to spend, but it needed to be fixed. However, after completing the repair, Mark and Shawn noticed the water flow wasn't strong enough and that there was a problem with the line away from the house somewhere. Long story short, after an entire day of hard work, they discovered that my sump pump drain line was broken in the middle of the yard (when the sprinkler system was installed YEARS ago) AND they also discovered that one of my down spout drain lines was totally destroyed in the middle of the yard (again, when the sprinkler system was installed). They repaired everything and now these lines FINALLY drain like they were designed to. Again, it was more than I wanted to spend, but they definitely gave me discounts as the job became larger and larger. This is a problem that could have grown into a HUGE deal (since our basement is finished), had it not been discovered. Ironically, our sump pump (that used to run all the time) has NOT turned on since they left... because the water is actually spilling out into the road like it should! Thank you Mark and Shawn from Mr Rooter for being EXTREMELY thorough and for doing a very good job.

The service guy was on time, he called 5 minutes prior to arrival, he explained everything he was about to do. When he indicated the cost, it blew me away but when I showed him my Angie's List coupon, he not only accepted it but increased the amount he would take off for the work he did. That was a surprise and a bonus right here at Christmas time. I needed that money to buy gifts for my family, not to unclog the kitchen sink. I also needed the sink clear for the holidays. Great job.

Sunday at 2:00pm I went to the basement to get something and there was an inch of water on the floor. I was doing laundry upstairs and it was backing up from a floor drain. I called Mr. Rooter and they said they could be here between 4PM & 6PM. I made the appointment. A short time later they called and said they had a tech available and he would be here by 3PM. At 2:55PM Alex & Steve rang the bell. They went to the basement, ran a camera, found the blockage, and removed it. They also did an inspection and let me know that our cast iron main drain was in very good condition and our sewer tile to the street was a 10 out of 10 (nice to know). They not only cleared the clog they also cleaned up the water and debris that had backed up and told us to mix a little bleach and water to take care of any bacteria that might have been present and to prevent mold. Alex and Steve were very professional. Alex asked several times if we were satisfied with the service and if there was anything else he should do to make sure I was satisfied. I really appreciated the speedy service, especially on a Sunday afternoon two days before Christmas.

I called around 8:45 am and he was here by 10:45 am, found and fixed the problem and was gone by 11:15 am. I don't have much experience with plumbers, but I was expecting a bill for $500 or more. I would use them again.

Very well - the staff was courteous and the technician respectful and professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend this company and will use them again for future service.

Our kitchen sink and disposal was clogged up and leaking. I called Mr. Rooter on a Sunday morning at 10:00 and they had a service plumber out by 1:00 that afternoon. He wore paper show covers and also covered the wheels of the drain unclogging machine. The job involved a lot of messy clogged junk but he cleaned up everything when the job was done. He also looked at our hot water heater and sump pump while he was here and gave us some good preventive advice on avoiding major problems with those. He was professional and informative but not pushy. I'll definitely use Mr. Rooter plumbing services again in the future.

At 5:30pm, my drain leading away from the garbage disposal became clogged. I called Mr. Rooter and within an hour, a service person had arrived. He tried all of the tricks that I had tried and then took apart the pipes and cleaned out the drain. Problem solved! I was able to finish cooking dinner without much interruption. I loved how quickly the problem was resolved.

The backhoe operator was kind enough to spread the dirt out so I didn't have a giant mole hill in the yard, but I'm still left with quite a large area with no grass. The two gentlemen who dug up and replaced the tiles were very friendly, helpful, and cleaned up after themselves. Including taking 8 large boulders -- but would have placed them wherever I wanted, had I decided to keep them. The original group that came weren't so tidy. They checked the drain from the outdoor vent pipe on the roof. They left their rubber gloves on the roof (the 'diggers' went on the roof and retreived them the day they dug up the tile). I discovered after they left, the finish was worn off my aluminum fence by their hose dragging across it from the front yard to the back yard and they'd broken my sundial. One of the 'worker bees' was left behind to help me move large stepping stones and some pavers. He moved one chair, and two large planters and said the backhoe can move those other stones. I moved them myself -- and really, the way he treated the chair and planters, I preferred to do so. Given the situation, I'm satisfied with the work and Mr. Rooter.

Came out on the day we called and identified the issue. Informed us that the problem was common and the general time left for the subfloor damage.

The man was very responsive to our needs. He can earlier that expected and explained what all was going to happen. It was fine.

He gave me the options of what to do before he started, and had a camera to show the pipe. His prices were reasonable for this work, which we had done before by other companies in the 32 years we've lived at our home. This was an excellent experience. Although, I hope I do not have to have them back again to take care of the drains, I would call them again with any other work with the house. They have a menu pricing guide they show you beforehand, and they gave me an Angie's List discount. They got it done on a Sunday, for which they did not charge extra. They were wonderful. The people I talked to on the phone, and the two men came and got it done quickly.

They did a nice job doing the estimate, but it would be $875 estimate for the work. They said they could not put a long valve in for the fireplace which made it more expensive. I ended up getting someone else to do the work and they were able to extend the valve.

In our neighborhood the sanitary and sewer lines are connected. Both lines are connected under our house and had backed up into our basement. Mr. Rooter was able to get to our house in an expediante manner. I was called before the plumber showed up giving us a heads up. I was a little suprised at the cost of the work. But the work was done as efficiently as possible. I would recommend them again for work, but would call around the next time to see if there is a lower price.
