Leak under kitchen sink was the problem. Technician immediately stated I needed a new disposal, which he quoted almost 600 dollars. Then he left, after asking where the closest Lowe's or Home Depot was.....so after he left I looked online to see how much a garbage disposal would cost at one of the box stores, after looking at the prices I decided that I was being overcharged. I called the mr rooter office to speak to a manager, whose first question was "how much did he quote you", shouldn't he know what they charge for a disposal? he then stated the technician was new and offered to take off $100 (or it could have been 150) off, which must mean they have a lot of flexibility in pricing..... I was in a bad spot as a single working mother, with no disposal (he had taken it out) so I agreed. Later after a call from a family member, they agreed to come down again on the total price, but I felt cheated by the whole situation.. Would NEVER use again.

Cleared one drain...gave us advice about plumbing services we might need in the future.

Mr. Rooter of Columbus had a deal available for purchase via Angie's List that provided a drain cleaning service for roughly a 1/3rd the normal cost. I called to see if I could actually get the work done same day and when I was informed that I could, I purchased the coupon and scheduled a time. Not long after scheduling the work, I received a call from the provider's office stating that they had an opening sooner than they had anticipated, and would it be OK for them to send their plumber over right now? The plumber, Alex, arrived on time, as far as I could determine, he did everything correctly. He surveyed the plumbing infrastructure just to be safe (he found a little bit of rust and warned us that this could cause an issue at any time; now or in the future), and then proceeded with the work of clearing the clogged drain. Alex was polite and professional and he kept the mess to a minimum. I do not personally expect the work of snaking a clogged drain to be splatter free, and we were prepared to mop and clean afterwards anyway.

The plumber (Bobby) was great. When he came out to the house he was very professional. I had purchased the $66 BIG BUY through Angies List for 1 drain cleaning, sooooo reasonable. He identified that if I hadn't bought the BIG BUY it would cost about $179 (thank goodness for BIG BUYS)! He was informative and helpful. Informed me that I shouldn't use Draino because it would hurt the pipes in my old house and gave me an alternative solution (baking soda and white wine vinegar, then hot water). I was so grateful and appreciative. He pointed out things that in the future I would need to consider to fix, but didn't try too hard to oversell me on anything. He cleaned up after his work and left. He was honest with me and told me that things that would be cheaper for me to fix than having him fix. I really appreciated his work and would use him in the future.

I had a backed up storm drain out to the street from my gutters that was causing water to leak into the basement. I contacted them on Friday and they said they could get someone out on Saturday. The people on the phone were incredibly courteous and very helpful. They told me someone would be there between 12 and 2 on Saturday. I rearranged some of my activities and decided to skip my daughter's soccer game so I could be home when they showed up. Since I was leaving for a week and rain on the forecast, I needed this taken care of over the weekend. Skip to Saturday. While home and missing my daughter's 1PM soccer game, it finally gets to 2:00, they miss their window, and I called them. They tell me that because of other work running long, they don't know when they can get to my house. They finally commit to tell me that they can't get there until 7PM. I reschedule for the next day and call several other plumbers, but nobody could get out there on such short notice, so unfortunately I am stuck putting my faith in Mr. Rooter. We make an appointment for 2:00-4:00 on Sunday. I tell them that I cannot afford to be late this time as I had a 5PM flight that Sunday and it would be tight. They promised me that they would not miss this window and would be there right at 2PM since their were not other appointments prior to mine. Sunday at noon as I am getting ready to head out on an errand, they call and tell me that they can get there early. I tell them that would be great. So I skip my errand since they will be arriving soon. They did not arrive early. As a result, I waited two more hours until well after their original 2:00 time that they promised me they would make. And at 2:20, the truck pulled in. THEY CALLED TO TELL ME THEY WOLD BE THERE EARLY AND THEY ENDED UP BEING LATER THAN THEIR ORIGINAL ESTIMATED TIME. That was frustrating as I had already wasted 3.5 hours on Saturday and now wasted another 2 hours waiting for them on Sunday. Finally the guy showed up and I had about 90 minutes to get this taken care of before I had to drive to the airport. I had my shovel, worked with him to scope out the drains with a camera, I dug up the pipe and he helped me figure out we had some obstructions in the drain. He snaked it out and I ran to the airport to make my flight. I have some repairs to do on the drain pipe, but the clearing out should get me through the winter without any additional basement issues. Overall, they wasted 5.5 hours of my time to perform about an hour of assistance in helping me locate my problem.

I had a great experience with this company. There were two of them since there was a problem with a piece of equipment and after a quick call another person from the company brought a replacement snake or whatever they called it. They were two of the nicest guys I've ever had working in my home. Very knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. They had no problem answering questions about other plumbing issues like my hot water heater. I'd call them again without question! Wonderful experience.

The plumber arrived on time. Was very polite and courteous. I explain the problem I was having and he proceeded with bringing in his equipment (electric auger) to remove the sludge from the pipe under the sink to the basement. It took him approximately 30 minutes. He did a wonderful job of cleaning up after completing the work. After completing job he did a inspection of the rest of my plumbing fixtures and recommend what needed to be done and a approximate cost for repairs.

Went very well. The technician was professional and efficient. Kitchen sink is unclogged.

He was excellent. He was very helpful and prompt and answered all our questions.

I was pleasantly surprised that the provider (I forget his name but he was a very thorough and professional young man) would come on a Saturday. I didn't have to miss any work to get the clogged drain dealt with. BTW, the date of service is ot when it occurred. I don't recall the date and I couldn't submit without one so....

Was friendly and got job done but price was insanely ridiculous! He was here for about one hour of which about 15 minutes he spent playing with our dog! $354.00 to tighten a faucet and disposal--really? REALLY? Felt we were taken advantage of and would NEVER use this company again!

Mr. Rooter provided a 2 hour window and called as promised when the technician was on his way. Alex arrived at the beginning of the window and not 2 minutes before the end of the window which was much appreciated. Alex fixed the two issues I had in just 30 minutes and made sure that I could see that the drains were working prior to leaving. Alex was quick and pleasant and I appreciated the help!

Our service provider was fantastic!! Our sink drainage problems were interrelated and very simple. He did both for the price of the Big Deal, even though the deal was for one sink only. He also gave us a very simple tip on how to prevent this from happening in the future. He then asked if we had any other issues, and given how professional he had been, I showed him a small build up of water around the drain of our furnace. He quickly assessed that the issue was that the drainage pipe that had been installed was too small to carry the volume of drainage generated by our furnace/AC. He gave us a very fair price, ran out to get the materials, and installed the larger drainage pipe in short order. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

They were professional. They came out within a half hour of me calling them. One technician came and it took about 20-25 minutes to complete the job. This was the first time I had used them.

Called the plumber on Friday afternoon and was able to secure an appointment for Saturday. The appointment was scheduled for between 11:00 and 1:00. The plumber actually arrived a little before 1:00, which was actually my only complaint with the service, but he was within the appointed time, so I can't gripe too much. Robbie was exceptionally professional, very thorough and cleaned up everything before he left. When he was in the crawlspace, he noticed a problem with a drain pipe that I didn't know existed. He pointed this out to me and I agreed that he should fix that too, while he was there. He also re-grouted the bathtub; a service that I didn't expect and didn't ask for, but greatly appreciate. He didn't charge extra for this, but I wouldn't have minded if he did. Based on my experience, i'd readily recommend this service to my neighbors, and Robbie as a technician in particular. He was thorough, professional, and executed the job with meticulous attention to detail.

They did great job and advised me as to what I needed to get done. They were excellent, cheap, and timely. The only problem was that there was some delay in getting in touch with them in the beginning.

The young man arrived on time and was truly kind ,courteous and professional .Although I can not remember the young man's name he he should up he had covers on his feet ,Iexplained him that the sink was draining slow and he went right to work ,answering any questions that I had . he was not there long and got the job done, gave me some good advice about keeping the drain open. He gave me the receipt and left .

I had a bathroom sink clogged up. They were on time for the appointment and were able to trouble shoot the problem. They cleaned well after themselves. They also inspected my other bathrooms.

Plumber was great! Wonderful attitude, VERY service oriented, went overboard to make sure I was happy. Concerned about making sure there was no mess in my bathroom. Will definitely use again.
