The plumber was professional and experienced however I think I was charged too much for a small job. The replacement part was a single piece of pipe with a shut off valve that could not have cost much

He was really fast in responding, he was clean and thorough. The job didn’t take more than a half an hour, and I felt that he was a little overpriced.

I explained that I need my sewage pipes unclogged. Water backs up when doing laundry. I had an appointment on March 1 from 4-6 pm. They did not show up. I kept calling them several times until 8pm at which time we set up a time for Sunday. On Sunday March 2 I had an appointment from 9-11 am and they did not show up. I call them several times until 1230pm. They called me at 1pm to say they could come. I told them to cancel since it was 2 hours pass the appointment time. Did not appreciate wasting two days waiting for someone to show up.

Quoted price for new toilet installation. Price too high for me. Got work completed by another company-

It was their bid to put in one new piece of drain time that I thought was outrageous.

Arrived on time. looked at what needed to be done. Replaced pipe with proper shut off valve and replaced copper tubing with braided tubing. From arrival to completion took about less than 2 hours. We are up to code, able to easily shut off water if needed and have new and better tubing.

-All was done completely and in a timely manner.

I checked the price of a toilet installation with other plumbers after mentioning the price to a friend who thought that the price was too high. Other prices were in the $350 - $450 range. I then called the owner of Mr. Rooter and discussed the price with him. He agreed that the price I paid was too high and gave me a $256 refund. The transaction was completed to my satisfaction.

The break was behind the wall so care was done to try and minimize the work that I would have to do to patch the hole(s). He was quick and professional and since I had no running water I was very happy with the result.

The service I received from Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Columbus worked out well. They were on time, neat, efficient and knowledgeable. It works fine -- better than before.

Unfortunately I won't know how well my install works until my new dishwasher is delivered on Wednesday but I would like to comment on the service I received anyway. Bobby was extremely courteous a speedy worker. He even pointed out another potential problem with my plumbing that we will be keeping an eye on. Also, I called to inquire about services at 2:50 pm and Bobby was here before 4 pm. Five stars for Bobby!

I called Mr Plumber on Wed the 8th at approx. 9am after the big freeze we had Mon and Tues. I knew from previous experience i had a clog, however it was under warranty because I had spend a couple thousand previous year getting a clean out drain installed so that I could save. ( I have 2 big trees in my yard and roots are a problem) However when i called I let them know because we had bad weather and I was at work I could wait and be last on list 6-9. He Thank me stated they were really busy but if they could fit me in they would or i would be first the next day. I went home waited 8:59 I get call that they wouldnt be able to make it and would be out next day between 5-6. tired, puzzled and irritated I just stated ok. They next morning I thought about it little more and didnt understand how I wasnt first so I called in. The young lady expressed concern and stated someone should of kept you informed even though they were extremely tied up. I stated that i didnt understand how i went from bottom of list to next day bottom of list and she offered a manager. The manager was busy so she took my information for him to call back. No return call all day, and another call for reschedule I received again at 9pm and was told i would be a priority next day by 12 at which point i told them I would be at work and prefered 5. Next day got call at 2 however it was a voicemail i missed and didnt return till 3 and was told they would have to make it later. Ok no problem. However at 7, I get a call for yet again another reschedule the next day between 11-1 I ask if this was earliest as I had been rescheduled since Wed it was now Fri and I understood I wasnt a paying customer this time and it was under warranty but b I had spend several dollars with the company and now I felt as if I wasn no longer a priority. She as well as with the last previous customer service reps left me with no comfortable feeling that my needs were going to be met any sooner than the window hour stated. So Saturday morning I get up and wait, cancel my dentist appt because I had a window and by this time me and my daughter could not shower, wash dishes or do any major water usage without the fear of something backing up. FINALLY we get a service call someone is coming. Dave I believe was the tech name came, told him problem because the work order stated something very different , he reviewed space after i explained problem, checked out clean out drain and showed me it was clear so it had to be something in house causing issue. He got snake, clear ouot drain , ran it few times, we turned on all faucets make sure everything worked, he cleaned up and was done in less tharn 30 mins. Great guy and very nice and professional Ive never felt so helpless and stuck. I was rescheduled from Wednesday to Saturday for a 30 min job. I have dealt with Mr plumber for years I am sad to have to do a bad review but honestly there was no excuse for how it was handled and I have yet to ever recieve the call from the manager.

It worked out well. I used the deal for one drain and I paid an extra $125 on top of the deal for the second drain. I actually was not in the house when they came to fix the problem, so I only spoke to them over the phone. Somebody else was actually at the house when they came. I actually had another drain issue that was unrelated and I went with another company and we had a better price so I would not use Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Columbus again in the future.

The actual drain cleaning did clear the current issue I had. However, there was so much gunk around the inside of the pipe, they suggested to have the blast done today because I would probably need it within a few months. They were able to complete all of the work in the same day. They used pads around the area they were working and cleaned up well after the job was complete. Everything turned out well.

We contacted Mr. Rooter in November 2013 because the water in our master bathroom shower was going cold. On the first service call, the technician advised us that we needed to have our tankless system cleaned out, that the two units could be done simultaneously, and that we would need a separate appointment for that. He recommended that we purchase our own equipment for the job since he would have to sell the equipment separately and it would be expensive. I went to a plumbing supply store, bought the kit for the cleaning, set up the second appointment, and had it done. The units could not be done at the same time as previously advised, so we were charged for two units after all and the whole thing took about 45 minutes. He was very friendly and polite. The cold water situation in the shower did not change. We called Mr. Rooter back, made an appointment for 11/22/13, and waited several hours into that evening for the technician to arrive. Like the other tech, he was also friendly and polite, but stayed at our home for approximately two hours trying to determine the source of our problem. His first recommendation was for all new water piping in our basement (the home was built in 2006). This would cost around $8000-9000. He told us we needed an entire new tankless heating system, also around $9.000. When we hesitated, he advised that the piping replacement could wait, but the tankless system should be replaced, that the problem would just get worse. This didn't make sense to us, since we had hot water everywhere else in our home, including the master bath sinks and tub. We contacted Foust Plumbing after researching dealers/service recommended by our tankless system manufacturer. The technician was polite, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Within five minutes he removed an unnecessary part (flow restrictor) from our shower fixture, and the problem was solved. He said he sees this all the time with shower plumbing/hot water problems. $50 for a service call, on a Saturday, and we were done with the issue. We were shocked that the technicians at Mr. Rooter 1) Did not see the obvious - that the problem was with the shower itself 2) attempted to sell us an extremely expensive "solution" that wouldn't have worked anyway. I have never taken the time to write a negative review before, but in this case I felt obligated to warn others.

They provider arrived on time and was very professional. He answered all of my questions and did a great job unclogging my bathtub drain. He inspected a few other things and made suggestions. I would use this company again.

It made no sense that I call to find out what happened and I am informed that someone had all ready come to my home and given me an estimate of the repairs. I do not appreciate it when the provider is untruthful. The CSR kept insisting that "John" came to my house. I have been in my home all day long waiting. The CSR did not apologize for the blatant lie and only kept repeating that "John" did come to my house. Who knows, maybe he provided the service to someone else. I decided to call another plumber to service my sump pump.

Removed drain clog at a rental property, were prompt and efficient.

Angie's list deal was for $62 for the drain inspection and unclogging and we requested the added check of the hot water heater on the work order. Plumber did not charge us for the work to the hot water heater. Great Service - would use them again.

Everything went pretty well. He came in on time and he was very detailed in his service. So, it was very nice.

I had a drain that was stopped up. I noticed that Mr. Rooter had a special on Angie's Big Deals to clean a drain for 66.00. I set up an appt. for the next day. Adam was prompt, very courteous and answered any questions I asked him. In the course of doing his job, the clog let loose and some nasty debris was on a small area of the basement floor. When the job was completed, Adam had cleaned up everything so well, I couldn't see or smell anything in the basement. The drain from the kitchen sink once again was operating perfectly. I really was very pleased with Mr. Rooter of Columbus and the plumber (Adam) they sent to do the work. Thanks.

They cleaned the drain as expected. The only issue was a rusted out piece that was working the stopper. I declined to have them replace (had my Dad install for free).
