Description of Work: We discovered a leak in a downstairs half bath and could not determine the source. We called Mr. Rooter and they responded the same day with a technician who spent a couple hours trying to find the source of our leak. He crawled in two attic spaces and even went outside (in very COLD temperatures!) to see if he could find the source. Unable to find the source, but with the leak stopped, he made a few recommendations and left. Sure enough, the next day the leak was back and worse! One call to Mr. Rooter, and our technician was back and again, searcning for the leak. We finally determined it was a roof leak instead of a plumbing leak. Mr. Rooter did not charge us for the second visit. And, when I discovered that I had forgotten to mention our Angie's List discount, they still gave us the credit after the fact.

Description of Work: Mr Rooter came out to my house the first time and cleaned the sewer pipe. It backed up again and they sent Alex out to look for the problem again. We ran the washer and nothing happen this time. Two weeks past and it backs up again. They sent Alex out again, who is very professional and on time. He ran the camera in the pipe and found and broken sewer line from my tree roots.He told me it would cost about 3600.00. I aksed anything cheaper and he flush the pipe with pressure for 3 hours. Hope I'm safe for a while. But over all great young man and a great company. Thanks again.

Description of Work: Tech performed a diagnostic on our sump pumps and suggested replacing failing pumps, which were on battery back-up, with hydrostatic pumps. I was very happy with the tech Jason May. This is the second time we have used them, and will continue to do so for future service needs. They are very professional.

Description of Work: Work has not been completed. Was suppose to give estimate on additional work and have not received it as of this date. So not sure if I would use them again or not. The sewer system was blocked and the worker was unable to unblock it. The next day the supervisor came out and said we needed an above ground clean out and he would send an estimateby bySS way of email then they could use the 4 inch blades to clean the rest of the system at no extra cost. Acouple weeks went by and no email. Called him and he said he was not too good with the email and he would drop the estimate at the house and leave it on the front door. I waited several weeks and called him and left a message that we could understand if he wasn't interested in doing the job and told him I would send him his jacket that he left if he would at least call and say where he wanted it sent. No word yet about any thing but he told me when he was here that it would not take long for the drain to clog again because of the blockage. So I now have to look look forward to another big bill to have it. taken care of by someone else The first worker installed a new sump pump and ran the pipe thru wall and then tried to clean the drain.

Description of Work: Installed a hot water heater. I noticed a leak in my old tank. I emailed the company the day after Christmas at 7pm. They came out to inspect by 8pm and had the new tank installed 10am the following day. The price was reasonable, very easy to work with.

Description of Work: Mine was the previous, verbose story dated March 4, 2010. Nothing terribly exciting to report--the line needs to be cleaned about once a year, this time it waited an extra 7 months. Maybe the previous hydrojetting did a better cleaning than plain blades. I knew to request the hydrojetter this time, so there was much less fuss, and using the back door greatly simplified any icky hose issues. Alex remembered me from a year-and-a-half ago, which was a nice surprise. He even put all my cat's litter boxes back in place when he was done! (The price went up, even with the discount, but that seems to happening everywhere.) I have recommended them to other neighbors who have needed clean-outs. I don't know if they used them or not.
