Awful. Don't use them. They scheduled me over a week out and then started calling me all day when they were supposed to arrive saying they were too busy. Waited until the afternoon, called again and said they had to move my appointment ANOTHER WEEK OUT. What a terrible way to do business.

TL;DR - Services are WAY overpriced. Company did not obtain a required permit. Company ghosted me when I tried to have them do as promised. Get all in writing. Confirm licenses and permits before work is done. I hired Mr. Electric to install a new power line and disconnect for an air conditioner I was having installed. For less than an hour's work, they charged me $1200. The only reason I agreed to the price was because I was having trouble finding an electrician willing to do this small job within my time frame. During my HVAC inspection, I discovered that they did not install a breaker in the disconnect, they did not install the correct breaker for the AC in the panel (amperage too high) AND they did not obtain a permit for their work as was promised. My inspection failed because of their lack of professionalism. When I called to complain, I was put in touch with Dion Troiano-Coe who supposedly is a manager for this franchise. He apologized and promised to take care of the panel breaker and permit issue. The tech never showed up on the day he was scheduled. I texted Dion, and he ended up coming out himself, saying the tech got caught up on another job. Dion corrected the breaker issue and confirmed he was getting the permit and would email me a copy. Almost 3 weeks later - no permit. I texted Dion and asked for an update. No response. After another week with no response, I had to go direct with the County, pay for the permit add-on ($75) and schedule the inspection. There is no easy way to contact someone who cares to complain. They are a national franchise operation that hides behind an answering service. BEWARE!

They were perfect, on time, clean, had the right ceiling fan, I was totally impressed with their attire.

It was terrible. They charged me way too much, it should have been 300 or 400 dollars but he charged me $1200.00. And the technician stole some stuffs from me.

Damon J was the electrician. He was professional and friendly. Very knowledgeable. Arrived as scheduled. Explained pricing process and explained the work that needed to be done. He repaired the outlet and made necessary alterations. The outlet and garage door is now functioning properly. The coupon offer of $57.00 was very helpful.

They've all been good. I had a light in my closet. He had to put a box up there and re-wire it and now it's pretty good. They did my ceiling fan too and I really really love my ceiling fan. It was pricey for me but I was pleased.

Electrician had a bad attitude and was condescending. Would have kicked him out of the house if I wasn’t desperate to have the work done before the house closing.

We had a pleasant experience with this company, since we were first time customers in dealing with Mr. Electric. We feel the company customer service reps does an excellent job in communicating with contacting the customers on scheduling and re-scheduling appointments. This company is one of the few electric company which will perform a service to LED lighting projects. The cost of services are rather high, but they have a large team of electricians who a readily available including on weekends. Jonathon was our electrician/tech and he is extremely knowledgeable! Overall we feel Mr. Electric is a very good company!

Terrible. He claimed to fix outlets and they were not working by the next day. He said he fixed doorbell wiring and as it turns out, the wiring is still broken.

They have done things right. Removed the siling fan and installed a light fixture. The price was quite high. I got $56 discount for the angies list, and paid $142, which was ok. But, the original price was $198. They came the same day I called, which was great! But, I don't think I will pay for $200 for a light fixture installation next time.

Mr. Electric said that it would look at my problem and give me a free estimate. This is false. When the electrician went to my home a few minutes ago he asked me to pay him before he gave me a a free estimate. A free estimate must be paid for according to Mr. Electric's dictionary. In my dictionary "free" does not mean "pay", it means without cost.

While they responded fairly fast to give an estimate to install a length of coaxial cable their "bid" for the work was more than $500 .... a competitor quoted the job at less than $200. I tried to use this company some years ago and their so-called electrician said my home electrical panel needed to be updated for $2,000 to $3,000 but when I called a professional (an electrician who started a major Columbus company) found NO defect with the panel. I believe this company uses sub-contractors and obviously they are out to scalp customers. I highly recommend that anyone considering using this company be absolutely sure to get at least a second quotation!!!

Josh did a great job in determining and fixing the issue. He explained and showed why the outlets and lights were not working. Very professional and organized.

Called them 745 Tuesday morning. Outside temp about 0, so had to get furnace working again quickly. They arrived within 1 hour as promised. Breaker was about 40 years old, not repairable, had to install new breaker panel as old units not available for repair. Not surprised as I had heard this was an issue. They got parts for new full breaker panel, had old panel torn out and furnace back on by 2PM that day. Also had optional whole house surge protection installed for $500 additional above $1800 for breaker panel. 200 amp service.

Started off through messaging via Angie's List and received a call from their call center / customer support - set up a callback to get a quote via phone. The next phone call I received was from Mike (Manager) whom listened to the request for a quote and provided a high overview on the following steps needed for the 200 amp panel box replacement - including potential timeframe for completion. After a quick site visit, Mike took care of setting up the remainder including the permit. A couple days later Scott (Technician) arrived and within 3 hours completed the job - replacing the box, clean-up, and ensuring all connections were up/running. The following day there was one more visit for inspection. Overall, I received plenty communications via email and phone (mobile) from Mr Electric to keep me posted on each step. Great service, fair pricing (parts/labor/permit), and great communication.

They never showed up, then called me to reschedule. I have used them before for installation of a breaker box, service call was suppose to be free. They charge me $169.00 for the service call. Then gave me a estimate for 2000.00, to install. I found another to do it for 1000.00

The electrician arrived on time with plenty of advance warning so I could get home from work. I explained what i needed and where I wanted it to go. He was knowledgeable about industry practices and he gave great advice about types of outlets along with their pros and cons. He gave me a quote, which I felt was a little high, but not unreasonable. I needed the work done ASAP so we went ahead and did it. I did not supervise, but I did overhear that the electrician was on the phone, seemingly chatting with a friend for a significant portion of the time he was working. I felt this was somewhat unprofessional, but he still got done in under the hour that he expected the job would take. The job was done well. I had mentioned that I had a list of other electrical jobs that I would like input on. He brought it up before he left that he could give me quotes for these jobs. I appreciated his thoughtfulness in this regard. This quote also felt high to be but I will get additional quotes for these lower priority jobs.
