DOUBLE J ROOF RESCUE

After writing a good review last January, I needed more work done. He has not store or business phone other than his personal cell. I called and left a message needing help, never got a return call. Got my help from another source, which I will use again in the future.

Jerry returned my call to get an estimate of damage and cost to repair roof area. He arrived early. He inspected the area where water was entering under my shingles, and determine that when the roof was replaced, a short cut had been used in this one specific area. Shingle nails were rusted away, and shingles had raised as water was entering the area, causing water damage over my porch area. Jerry removed the shingles around the area, applied new rubber seal/matting, and replaced the shingles. He then sealed the area with silicone. He inspected the entire rough area

Jerry and his son did a wonderful job cleaning out our gutters and downspouts. He also checked for problems with the gutters, downspouts, and street drain and made recommendations to avert future problems. I highly recommend him. He has cleaned and serviced our gutters for many years and I will certainly continue to use his services both spring and fall.

He does great work at a great price and I have recommended him to many friends.

The firemen run the company. Mr. Jerry Scott is one of the owners. It was a high-peaked roof. They did a good job. They were quick. They completed the work in two days. Their clean-up wasn’t too good, though. I found things lying around. However, I wasn’t upset about anything and I didn’t have any problems with their punctuality and professionalism.

They are very easy to work with. Their prices were reasonable and they got the job done very quickly and efficiently and the job looks great. I would highly recommend them.

They are excellent in all respects. These men are mostly fireman for Columbus or Worthington, so you have to be patient with them because they are in such high demand (and they do this work on their off days).

Double J came and fixed the vent flashing leak while I was at work so I didn't get to meet them. But over the phone Jerry was easy to contact and told me ahead of time what the cost range would be. The actual bill was at the lesser end of the estimate range, which is very rare these days and greatly appreciated. I will call Double J with all of my roof related concerns from now on. It's hard to find anyone that will get on your roof for less than $100.

Jerry answered the phone himself after hours. Showed up three days later to do the work.Price was reasonable.Suggested some flashing replacement but was not pushy or persistent. I will have him back to do that work.

Mr. Scott seemed like an extremely honest man. We seemed to really know the roofing business. I will never call another roofer again.

They were excellent! Very well priced. They were able to come out quickly for the work, and then finished with lightning speed - still great quality. My husband is a Realtor and has had clients use them in the past with equally great results. They go above and beyond. Recently referred them to a family member.

Overall, I'm very happy. I had two other companies out to provide estimates, and was uncomfortable with the sales pitches, rather than a realistic assessment of my situation - a large part of why I chose Double J - I spoke with one of the owners, who sounded like he knew a thing or two about actually putting a roof on a house. I was in the process of purchasing this home, knowing the roof needed repairs, but the seller had promised to tarp the leaky roof, which they did not do and water got inside. Double J saved me a tremendous amount of additional interior damage by putting on a tarp the night before a couple of huge storms. The seller should be thanking Double J, or the place might still be on the market. I think the price for the work was fair, and there aren't any leaks yet! Just really an all-around good experience with this company.
