Very friendly and personable. They completed the job in a timely manner. They painted but also replaced wood trim on the house.

They came each morning on time and spent the entire day - sometimes still working when we came home from work. They were professional and meticulous in their work. They offered to do additional work after they had already given us an estimate and did not charge us extra. They even offered to pick up supplies if needed at no cost to us. They stayed until we were satisfied with the job. They painted our base trim and didn't get any paint on the carpet. They cleaned-up neatly after work and even took our dog out each day for a walk and bathroom break! I felt very safe with them in our home each day as were were at work most of the time. We will be calling All Start Painting again for an estimate to paint our basement and deck next spring. I'm very glad I checked Angie's List first. Give Robert a call - you won't be disappointed.

We had hired All Star Painting previously, so we knew they were skilled painters. But their ability to repair and color match our cathedral ceiling, the kitchen wall repair, and the loft wall repair exceeded our expectations. As always, Ed and Robert arrived on time, cleaned up each day, and finished the job on schedule (2 days). They are a pleasure to work with. And I'll repeat what I said in our last report on All Star Painting - this is the best paint job we ever had.

This is the 5th house that I hired Ed and Rob to paint. The 1985 stucco house has with 3000 Sqft and 60% of the interior walls covered with wallpaper and borders. I met with him a few moths earlier for an estimate. He gave me an advice on how to remove wallpaper. Exterior painting: Ed and Rob painted the outside, trim, gutters, downspout, exterior doors/screen door frames and window frames. Ed notified me that our exterior door frame was rotten before painting so, I changed the door and he painted it later. The painting was done in 2 days and neat. Interior painting: To save money, the wallpaper and glue were removed by myself and my friend. We ended up damaging about 50% of the walls especially at the border areas. To make the matter worse, we had to remove many 80 style small vertical mirrors in the dinning room and master bath. They were glued tightly so, we had to cut away part of the wallpaper to get the dry glue out. They looked really bad. We also had long cracks on the knock down ceiling in the family room. Ed showed great skills of skimming, patching holes and repairing/matching existing knock down ceilings. By the time, they are done with painting, I couldn't see where they patched the holes. The walls look smooth and nice. They are nice people and work hard to get the job done right. I would love to work with them on my next flip again.

Overall, Ed and his partner did a good job painting the interior of our home. We wanted various color changes, there was no paint run over, and lines were clean throughout the house. There were areas that could have been left cleaner upon the completion of the job (ex. tape left on the floor, lunch wrappers not in the trash can, etc. I would say that Ed's communication and professionalism could you use a little improvement. As a contractor and service provider, you need to be able to articulately respond to potential customer questions and concerns. Some of Ed's e-mail responses leave a lot to be desired, however, he is a good painter and the proposal price was reasonable compared to 5 other competitor quotes. I would hire him again for future painting needs, and would also refer him to friends/family in the Columbus OH area.

All work top notch, caulked and repaired all holes, sanded and painted. They cleaned up after themselves and did not stretch the work out. Ed and Robert great people.

I took two bids on this job and actually Ed's bid was a little higher than the other. The initial bidder said he could not even begin the job until mid-June and it was mid-April when I took the bids. Ed came to the house on a Wednesday to give me his bid which he emailed me. He said he could begin the following Monday, April 20. Because we were trying to get the house on the market, I went with Ed. He began promptly and, as promised, finished the interior work in three days. He worked around the rainy weather and came back the next week and did the decks and porch. The care with which he did his work cannot be overstated. He painted like I would have done it myself - no drips, splatters or messes. He cleaned up every night after work. All I would have to do was mention a concern (a door was swollen and not shutting properly) and the next thing I knew it was fixed. I'm looking forward to hiring Ed again for all my painting needs and highly recommend him to anyone who wants it done right the first time.

This is the 4th home that Ed and Rob painted for me. I'm their big fan. It is a bank owned house with tons of holes. They went above and beyond. Ed sprayed all the exhaust fan covers and the air returns white. He even sanded and painted the stair trim which wasn't a part of the plan. He caulked all the trim and door casing in the house for me. There is one crooked corner in the hallway that I didn't get a chance to fix. He mudded it for me and make it straight.

This is the best painting team I have ever worked with and I have worked with a number of them. Ed, the owner and his employee Rob, were extremely professional. The do what they say they will do, on time and on budget. They take great pride in their work and they went the extra mile to make sure I was 100% satisfied.

This is the 3rd time that I used All Star Painting on the house I flipped. I love working with Ed and Robert. They showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. They work hard and get the house done in 3 and a half day. It could have been done in 3 days but I added the kitchen ceiling paint. The quality is great and they are nice people.

Ed completed all of the work on schedule as promised. The snowy weather and road conditions in Columbus mid-February did not delay him getting to the job. The work was completed in four days. Ed and his worker cleaned up each day before leaving, including running the sweeper in areas where he did plaster work. I couldn't be happier with the finished product. I am 100% satisfied and will consider hiring All-Star Painting again this Spring for some exterior house paint work. I highly recommend Ed Antauer II, All-Star Paining.

Ed was very professional and friendly while at our house. He also worked through the day and ensured he cleaned up really well afterwards. He was also very attentive to detail.

At first we planned to paint living room and high ceiling stair case area only. I contact 4-5 provider in Angie's List and Ed response quickly with estimate. Other didn't gives estimate and want to see our condo first. So, we were ok with Ed to come and visited our condo to do survey in order to give exact price for the job. Turn out we changed our mind and wanted to paint whole condo. After walking through with Ed, we decide to skip 2 bedrooms that the paint is still in good shape and Florida Room. Ed told us that He would give the price the same day and He did. He's very friendly and professional. The job took 3 days and Ed went above and beyond. Not just He did excellent job with painted the walls but also did extra job on paint the base board, window sills, fire place mantel and even crawl space (below the stairs). We surely will use him for future painting job again and will refer him to our friends and family.

Ed and Robert are fantastic! They are extremely talented painters and did an excellent job that exceeded our expectations. Our new home looks beautiful! We were so impressed that we immediately scheduled them to also paint the basement rec room, garage and front door. They were always prompt and professional. We HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who wants a quality paint job at a reasonable price.

Offered good suggestions on how to float out walls prior to painting, and how work would be executed. However, the contractor declined the work because of the timeframe which I needed it completed. I like the vendor's honesty. He's obviously good, as he's backed up several weeks right now on work.

After calling a minimum of fifteen different painting companies, Ed Antauer, gave me an estimate, and a time-line for the job to be completed. Even with a super-busy schedule, Ed and Robert finished the interior downstairs walls and the all trim as promised, AND THEY LOOK BEAUTIFUL! A suggestion, Ed made concerning the crown-molding, greatly enhanced a more modern look of the rooms. I found these gentlemen to be punctual, trustworthy, and extremely talented. These attributes, will make my next call for a painter, a no-brainer.

I really appreciate All Star Painting. Ed and Robert were great to work with. They are definitely experts in their profession. They moved heavy furniture, cleaned the baseboards, and repaired any imperfections they found in the walls. My house was not an easy job. It had not been painted in 15 years. I could not be happier. My house looks fantastic. They worked from the time they arrived to the time they left, barely taking time for lunch. I did find him on Angie’s List. He came out when he said he would and provided me with the quote for $3,200. I asked if we could take certain things off to try and make it a little bit less expensive. We were already spending so much to redo the home, and he never responded. I sent 2-3 requests and he never responded back. I had sent something back asking if we could just do XYZ instead of A through Z and followed up with them but I never heard anything back. We ended up doing it all ourselves. He came out like he was supposed to, and after that, it was just like he kind of fell off the radar. He was professional when he was there but the follow up was just really bad.

We needed to have rooms painted in time to get our house rented out. On short notice Ed was able to schedule us in that weekend, and he and another worker came and did the job quickly and professionally. Was very happy with their work and would recommend them to family and friends. They did a great job!

Ed was very punctual, courteous, and professional. We discussed in detail the work that was needed. Ed is very personable, and can anticipate exactly what your needs are. Ed doesn't contract his work out, he handles it all personally, with 1 assistant who's worked with him since the 90's. This was important to me, as he has a very personal stake in his work, and the finished product. All furniture was covered with tarps, and floor runners were layer wherever they would be walking. Not just working, but walking, as well. The final result was fantastic, and I couldn't be more pleased. I will definitely be calling him back, once it is time to do the door casings, and trim work as well.
