+ 0 moreMike suggested instead of ripping out the flooring from the closet, which we thought we would have to do, that he could make totally new planks to fit in poplar. This worked out fine since we decided to paint the floor instead of staining. Mike came while we were at work, did the job in a professional and timely manner, and we will use him again when we are ready for he next portion of the job.
Description of Work: Mr. Auer gave us estimates and suggestions on repairing our old poplar floor and all upstairs trim work in our 100+ year old home. We decided to do the project in phases, and the first phase was fixing holes/damage to the softwood tongue-in-groove floor in 4 different locations.

+ -1 moreMIKE EXHIBITED A THOROUGH KNOWLEDGE OF HIS CARPENTRY CRAFT. HE WAS VERY PLEASANT AND A PLEASURE TO HAVE AROUND. SINCE THIS WAS A SEVERAL DAYS JOB, HE WAS ALWAYS ON TIME AND COMPLETED EACH TASK WITHIN THE TIME FRAME HE HAD ESTIMATED. HIS PRICING WAS VERY REASONABLE.
Description of Work: A CORNER SECTION OF A BEDROOM CLOSET WAS REMOVED AND NEW HARD WOOD FLOORING UNDER WALL SECTION REMOVED WAS INSTALLED. ALL SURFACES WERE REPAINTED. COMPLETED REPAIR BLENDS PERFECTLY WITH PREVIOUS STRUCTURE.

+ -1 moreMIKE ARRIVED AS PROMISED, TOOK DOOR FOR REPAIR WITH HIM, LATER RETURNED WITH REPAIRED DOOR AT THE TIME HE PROMISED HE WOULD AND REHUNG THE DOOR. A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE.
Description of Work: REPAIRED AND REHUNG DOOR THAT HAD THE SCREWS HOLDING A HINGE RIPPED FROM THE DOOR. IT HAD TO BE REPAIRED (REGLUED).

+ -1 moreHE CAME OUT AND WORKED WITH US ON WHAT WE WANTED. HE GOT THE JOB DONE WHEN HE SAID AND IT LOOKED EXACTLY AS WE WANTED IT TO LOOK. HE WAS VERY NEAT, HE DID EXCELLENT CLEAN UP AND WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH.
