Description of Work: It started out ok he painted the inside of my garage and my laundry room and the den. I called him to paint the trim on 15 windows because I was getting new window treatments and I figured it would be easier to do it before that after and he charged me $1280 in my kitchen and great room, there was paint left all over the windows after he cleaned them because he painted on the windows with the intentions of cleaning them. My husband and I had alot of leftover paint to clean up on my den doors also since they are all windows. He also painted outside of the trim because he was suppose to paint the walls in both rooms when my kitchen was finished being remodeled. The thing is I was not sure when I was going to paint the great room so now I have to paint it because the paint is all over the walls. He had originally given me a price of $3200 for the kitchen, sunroom, great room, and second floor hallway, which would have left a balance of $1820. So here is the kicker I told him when the kitchen was done I would have him back to finish the job and I would deduct the windows from his original estimate I never got a call back! How do you like that! Very disappointed started out real nice

Description of Work: I first made contact with Larry Blau, owner, at my son's home, mid-April 2012. Blau had left a flyer in the mailbox of my son's new home. The painting services he performed there were satisfactory. I asked him to call me to set up an appointment to give me an estimate to paint a half bath. (He said he would do so, within the week). I repeatedly had to contact him (phone and email) to give me an estimate. When I agreed to the price, he kept avoiding me to set a date. I tried to get the painting done by the 20th of May. He FINALLY said he couldn't get it done in time. Because I was leaving on vacation, I agreed to wait until today, June 11 at 8am. We compromised (in writing) for 10am. It is now 3:45pm on June 11. Blau never showed up. He has not answered 2 phone messages I have left for him. I waited all day. DO NOT USE THIS MAN, unless you are willing to play the "waiting game" and not get any work done.

Description of Work: Painted dining room walls, trim and repaired unsightly crack in drywall. Room now looks beautiful thanks to Larry. We have used him before andhe is truly a gem. Always prompt, neat and a pleasant demeanor. He willcontinue to be our painter of choice.

Description of Work: They primed and painted my kitchen, smoothed out damaged spots and filled holes. At a previous job they removed wallpaper, primed and painted several rooms.

Description of Work: interior painting, suggestions as to colors and ceramic tile colors and patterns, they were very knowledgable about the products used and care of the walls, patched numerous gaping wall cracks successfully, pleasant, professional. prompt, returned calls within the same day, excellent clean up.

Description of Work: He is taking down all of the wallpaper in the rooms that I want. He is painting the entire condo which is 1700 square feet. They did some drywall work for me in my other condo.

Description of Work: To get the walls ready to be painted they skim coated the walls in the kitchen and took out a vent for an old fan and patched it.
