The Gutter Boys

I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and price of The Gutter Boys. Other companies were extremely pushy and extremely expensive. Some of these companies came with elaborate presentations to justify their crazy prices. The Gutter Boys let the product shine - both in person and online. Thanks for doing such a great job!!

They were really polite, quick and came on their scheduled date. They were on time.

I had them working for me for three seasons now. The second season they did a poor job. I called them and they came back out and did an amazing job. They were very responsive.

The Gutter Boys call me as I have gutters cleaned at two houses. They come at my convenience and allow me to be at both houses when they clean the gutters. My house costs $70.00 and my mother's house is about $53.00 (see my other review on Angie's List). My mother's neighbor had used The Gutter Boys and I followed and have been using them for the last several years as they are punctual and dependable. I have had the owner clean the gutters as well as his contract personnel and to date they have all been excellent.

The Gutter Boys call ahead, send email, and remind me when it is time to have them clean the gutters and the roof of leaves. They are always punctual and very accommodating, helpful, and clean up any debris.

The service was terrible. I had originally called them the first week of November, and asked if they could come out and do the work before it started getting too cold. They told me it would not be a problem and gave me the impression that they would be out within a couple of days. This was not the case. It took about 2 weeks before they came out to do any work. I had to call them quite a few times to get this done as well. With a situation like this, I really just wish they would have been more up front and honest with me. If they would have told me right up front that it would take a couple weeks before they could come out, it would not have been a problem and I would have found someone else. They just kept telling me that they would be right out. On November 17th I was told that they had actually already came here and did the work. In their ad it says that they clean gutters, bag up the leaves, and take them to the side of the curb. There was no evidence that they had even been here and done any work. I did not see any bags of leaves by the side of the curb. Basically I was just wanting someone to come back out and take a look to make sure everything has been taken care of. I was told that somebody had actually come out a 2nd time and the bag of leaves was on the side of the house. I live right near the woods and their was only a half of a bag of leaves. I felt there would have been much more than that. It wasn't even by the curb either. The ad also says that they flush out my gutters which would have been impossible because my water was turned off due to cold weather. Then I spoke with some neighbors who told me that both times they came to do the work was during the night time when it was dark. When I told the Anthony this, he got very defensive and said they don't do work at night. My neighbors have no reason to lie about this. I just wanted someone to come out during the day so they could take a better look. I shouldn't have been paying the full premium price when I didn't get the full service.

Even though they came later than originally scheduled (after calling them a few times to confim with them) they came and provided service. They were very responsive whenever I called and called me back almost immediately when I contacted them on the delay in schedule. Would use them again in a heartbeat! Even neatly bagged my leaves and left by the garbage and cleaned my skylight window!

The actual service was fine, but I called to request a cleaning and it took them two weeks to come out and do it. I had to call them to remind them that I had requested the service. They responded immediately (they cleaned the gutters the day I called back), but I never got a call to explain or apoligize for the delay in service. I think I would try another company before trying Gutter Boys again.

I bought gutter cleaning service through a Living Social deal for $59. When I called to schedule, I was given a date range for the service and told that I didn't have to be there when they did the work. I also requested that they clean some skylights. The gutters were cleaned maybe a week and a half after I called and the trash was left neatly double bagged next to the garage. The only suggestion I would make ris that they put the bill in the mailbox. Ours was left in the front door, and as we rarely use the front door, we missed it completely. The only way I knew the gutters were cleaned was when they called me back with an estimate for window cleaning. There was a mix up with the crew that came to the house - they did an estimate for washing all the windows rather than wash the skylights. (They did come back a few days later to wash the skylights and this time I found the bill since I knew where to look for it!) I have no complaints about the service - even the mix up was handled well. The person I spoke with on the phone was professional and courteous. I would use this company in the future.

This was a really good experience. I needed to do something to keep the birds from making nests [lots of them!!] in my gutters. Anthony came out, measured and the estimate was several thousand dollars less than other gutter shield products I for which I had received estimates. The first day he came out, he discovered that the birds had gotten under the fascia board and taken over that section of the roof and gutters. I had to get that repaired, which took several weeks. Anthony patiently waited and kept all the product and the original estimate even though he had to wait to finish the job. The result is phenomenal. The Rhino guards allow water to go through and keep the birds out. No more burrowing under roofing and undermining the integrity of the gutters or the roof. The ends are capped, nothing can wriggle inside. No more clogged gutters, no more leaking gutters, no more water seeping inside due to clogs. I wish I had done this years ago. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone needing help with gutters, whether cleaning or needing some sort of gutter guard. The Rhino Guards have a twenty year warranty, a great value. I chose Gutter Boys over other providers because of the relatively low price. After filling out their email form, I received an email that they would schedule me for the latter half of July. During the week of July 22, I contacted them and learned that I was on the schedule for that week. I was not home when they came. I got no report on the condition of the gutters, which surprised me since every other time I have had gutter cleaning there was some information. The gutters I can see are clean. I really appreciate that the garden hose was neatly rolled up .

Gutter Boys were recommended to us by friends, but did not perform up to the level of the recommendations. Scheduling was easy. They came out 1-2 weeks after contacting them for the job, with a warning call to let us know they would be there. We scheduled the "premium gutter cleaning" and added cleaning basement window wells. 2 issues with the job:1) One of the main roof valleys was not cleaned, with debris easily visible from street level. Contacted Gutter Boys to request they complete the job, which they stopped by ~2 weeks later to do with no notice.2) We scheduled the premium gutter cleaning which would include flushing the downspouts with water. We did not see any signs that the flushing ever happened. The downspouts ran clear before so there was not a specific issue we expected to be fixed or identified, but without water on the driveway or our hoses being used or moved, I doubt this part of the service was done. Overall, the "premium" level seemed like a poor value and beyond having debris removed. If I use them again, I would not get anything more than the basic level of service.

Their prices were really good and they are good about reminding you to schedule.

The job was fine. They were a little busy but they said it was the busy time of the year so it took 2 weeks for them to come out. It was a little bit long but other than that, they did just fine. I didn't compare their prices.

They worked hard. They worked actually one of my roof and I did see them pulling debris out from one gutter that was clogged.

Some gutter debris was left on my shrubs & ground. Gave check when they were here, but this check was lost and received an invoice for past due. They lost the check I handed them and asked me to send another check.

Perfect. Better than expected!

The Gutter Boys associate climbs up on the roof and cleans each gutter throwing the gutter debris on the ground. Once all the gutters are cleaned, they gather up the gutter debris in a trash bag (which they supply) and ask where to leave the trash bag for rubbish collection. They are responsive to a request to clean gutters. They perform the job quickly and completely. We have used them for the past three years, each spring and autumn. We will definitely use them again!

I've used The Gutter Boys for years and I will continue to use them. Their prices are competitive and they clean up after themselves! That is a huge plus, I've use other service providers who simply blow out the gutters and leave a mess on the house and the ground. I was a little disappointed in teh most recent cleaning, because the serviceman was a little careless and drug the hose through my flower beds. He severely damaged a hasta and lightly damaged a few other plants. I sent a note with the bill to inform them of this, so that it wouldn't happen to other people in the future. I didn't hear anything back, but that is okay, most of the plants will recover. In all it seems like a well run organization, and I will continue to use them in the future.

They have done it multiple times for me. Easy to contact, professional.

I was pleased by the promptness of the response to my call. The service man did a thorough job and left no debris behind, and was very courteous. I will call on them for any future jobs.

As far as I know, the work was performed well. I schedued this for my parents and they were not at home when it was done - but have had no problems with the gutters. Kristy who took my phone call was EXCELLENT. She went above and beyond in giving me an accurate quote, as I didn't know the square footage of the house - so she researched that for me and was extremely pleasant.

Based on the initial phone conversation I opted for the "premium gutter cleaning" service for $91 since that service level provided for some basic repairs as well as cleaning and flushing the gutters. Our house had a section of gutter under the eaves that had become separated and there was a loose gutter spike as well. A technician by the name of Mike did the work. He was polite and friendly and did a good job. All the gutters of the house and detached garage were cleaned and flushed well. The debris was neatly bagged and left beside the garage. The detached gutter section was properly re-attached and the loose spike driven back in place. Mike had forgotten to bring a hose for the flushing and had to use ours, but he coiled it back neatly on its reel and put it back in the tool shed right where I had stored it. I am satisfied with the work done and plan to use Gutter Boys as our gutter cleaning service on a regular basis. I feel comfortable recommending this company to others.

The price was cheaper than I had expected. However, there were discrepancies about what payment methods they accepted and it was a huge issue for me. I was also dissatisfied with the bags of leaves on my driveway that the workers left after they had completed the job. They did a good job, but the issues I had with them will prohibit me from using their services again.

I called and was able to get estamet over phone. They used the internet to view a satlelite view of my house. Cool. They came out when they said and cleaned and baged refuse.
