NIGHTMARE! In June 2021 my wife and I paid Steve Mason, the owner of Ohio Natural Stone Works, $1,779.68 which was a deposit for our granite counters & sink. Since then they've scheduled 10 different installation dates but never show up, and never call to say they are not coming. They don't return phone calls or emails. Their salesperson, Susan Knight, will finally text us back after we've left several messages, she always has a different excuse as to why the installation is delayed, schedules a new installation date, and every time, no one shows up & they don't call to say they aren't coming. We started this process with them in Feb 2021, at that time they recommended a cabinet company, CabCon, and said they do lots of business with Mike Nagel from CabCon, gave us his business card and said after he installed the cabinets, they would come out to measure for our granite. This all started in Feb 2021! Mike Nagle measured, we paid him 50% down in Feb 2021 for the cabinets and 50% down for the labor, he cashed our checks but never ordered our cabinets & obviously never installed them. We called CabCon and they said he never ordered the cabinets or gave them the money, he personally deposited the checks into his own account, so they won't help us either. We had to pay another company to get cabinets, so in June the new cabinets were installed, Ohio Natural Stone apologized for what had happened and said they would get our counters installed within the next 2 weeks because they were sorry about what happened to us with the cabinet company that they recommended, and because of that they would put a rush our order. That was in June 2021, and today is Nov 5, 2021! Ever since then they've never shown up for the scheduled installs, do not call back, never answer their phones or respond to emails. Susan Knight will finally text us back after we've sent many texts, she still always has a new excuse, schedules a new install date and the same thing happens; they are a no-show, no-call. Susan now said she can't help us, and said we have to communicate directly with Steve Mason, the owner of Ohio Natural Stone Works. Steve will not answer his phone either and will not respond to our voicemails, texts, or emails. We have requested a refund of our deposit so we can get our granite counters elsewhere, but Steve will not respond to our requests. In looking at reviews of Ohio Natural Stone Works on other websites, we have seen that this year he has done this to many other customers too. He is taking deposits from customers knowing full well that he is not going to install the counters. I think this is illegal! One customer said he finally gave them a refund for their deposit, but when they went to his bank to cash the check, they were told by the bank that there wasn't enough money in the account to cover the check, so the check was worthless. I never trash businesses, but I don't want anyone else to go through this same nightmare that we are going through! STEVE MASON IS A THIEF and should not be allowed to operate a business! No one should trust him or his company. If you give him your money this will probably happen to you too! It's a shame though because up until about 10 months ago they had very good reviews for many years. I understand companies can fall on hard times, but then don’t take money from customers when you have no intention of delivering what your customers ordered!

We gave them a 50% deposit in June 2021 for granite countertops. They stopped all communication after they cashed the check. The only way we got any information was by going to their store in Berea. Susan Knight and Steve Mason, the owner, have given us false information about installation dates for months. Their voice mail has been full for months and they ignore all email. From many reviews online, it looks like this is their business model. They take your money and deliver NOTHING. I’ve filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General’s office, started legal action, and complained to the local news. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!

I put 1 star because it's required. These people are crooks who stole $7000 from us and ran away with the money. They scammed over 20 customers out of thousands of dollars. Check the Ohio Attorney General website before you even think about doing anything with these thiefs.

Also, they recommended a cabinet company when we picked out our granite, gave us the business card for CabCon, so Mike Nagel from CabCon come out to measure for cabinets, we paid him 50% down, he took our money & never ordered our cabinets. We found out he passed away, never ordered cabinets but cashed our checks, apparently he did this to several other families as well. CabCon said he never ordered the cabinets or gave them the money so they won't help us either. I never trash businesses but don't want anyone else to go through this same nightmare! I have no idea if we will every get our counters or even a refund!

My husband dealt with them and I think everything was fine. We didn't have much issues with it and it was positive. We had an issue with the stone people. We had an issue with the sink, they didn't order the right faucet and we ended up having some trouble with that for quite some time but it was fixed in the end. There's an issue with the sink and the countertops that the owner came out and actually saw it and he wasn't happy with what the employees did so they redid. He made us happy in the end but there was some snags. It looks fine and we were happy. They have to come out and redo it but it would have been done the right way in the first place.

This is our third time using Ohio Natural Stone. Great company to work with. Very reasonably priced and excellent customer service. Highly recommend!

It went great. We called on a Sat morning, and the sales rep came out within an hour to look at the job and share ideas. We scheduled an appointment to see samples at the shop later in the week and he met us there as well. The people at the shop were friendly, and very helpful.. After we made a granite selection a tech came out and took measurements. He was through and precise. We had a slight delay with the installation because of other orders that came in ahead of ours. Very minor a day or two. The finally installation went smoothly, the sinks were mounted, and all work was very professional. We would definitely use them again!

The contact person was helpful and responsive. The delivery/installation was prompt and professional. The follow up call for minor issues was dealt with immediately to her satisfaction.
