Description of Work: Technician took his time, did unnecessary work, and seemed to be running up the bill. I finally asked him to stop and leave, as the problem had been solved. I complained to the owner, who deducted $50 from my bill, but I still felt that an attempt had been made to take advantage of my situation.

SERVICE MAN WAS ON TIME, BUT SEEMED ANNOYED FROM THE START. HE GOT NICER WHEN HE TRIED SELLING ME A WHOLE NEW SYSTEM, WHICH WE DIDN'T EVEN NEED.
Description of Work: SERVICE MAN CAME OVER TO SEE WHAT WAS WRONG WITH OUR CENTRAL AIR UNIT. HALF AN HOUR LATER (AND $120) THE GUY TOLD ME IT WOULD COST $800 TO FIX AND IT WASN'T WORTH IT. TOLD ME TO GET A NEW SYSTEM AND THAT WOULD COST AROUND $5,000. AFTER HE LEFT, WITHIN FIVE MINUTES, I HAD A SALESMAN CALL ME. WE GOT A SECOND OPINION. THIS GUY WAS AT OUR HOUSE FOR ABOUT AN HOUR. SOMETHING IN THE SYSTEM WAS SIMPLY DISCONNECTED. HE RECONNECTED IT AND WE HAVE HAD OUR AIR CONDITIONING EVER SINCE. THIS COMPANY CHARGED US $50 FOR THE SERVICE CALL.

HE CAME AND CLEANED UNIT AND WAS GONE IN NO TIME. AFTER HE LEFT THERE WAS A LOUD BANGING EVERY TIME THE UNIT WOULD SHUT OFF. I CALLED AND EXPLAINED THE SITUATION AND THEY SAID I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FULL PRICE FOR THE SERVICE CALL AND FOR THE CHECK. WHEN HE WAS HERE IT NEVER MADE A NOISE. AS SOON AS HE LEFT IT STARTED BANGING AGAIN. COST IS FOR BOTH TRIPS. SECOND WAS APOLOGETIC AND I WILL BE USING ANOTHER COMPANY.
