+ -1 moreLoren removed a bunch of things from my computer that I no longer used and he showed me how to back up all my data on a independent drive. My computer now runs a lot faster. I was also able to get same day service. I dropped the computer off at his place in Strongsville at about 11:00 and picked it up at about 3:30. The printer was seven years old and the rolls were going. Loren found a place (Staples) that had a Canon printer on sale for $64.99 that fit my needs.
Description of Work: My computer was running slow plus my printer stop working.

+ -1 moreFYI Loren now lives in Strongsville, not in Berea. I talked at length over the phone with Loren that my computer was freezing up several times a day and that I had to hard reboot the compute oftenr. He was very flexible with his availability and I ended up dropping off the computer at a mutual time. He kept me informed throughout the process. He explained what he did and offered suggestions on how to keep my computer running well for years to come. Computer works great! Thanks Loren.
Description of Work: Diagnosed computer problem, reformatted hard drive ,reapplied Windows 7 operating system, and Windows office 2010 tested my computer , downloaded lifetime antivirus and provided free lifetime customer support.

+ -1 moreWe were having problems with our laptop. I went to Angies list to find someone to help. We live in Strongsville so I found and quot;Computers by Lorenand quot; listed and I called Loren and explained what was happening and he set up a time for me to drop it off at his home office. He was very nice and informative and fixed the laptop overnight. After you become a customer of Loren's you can call him anytime for quick help when needed, that will be an invaluable service to us. After he completed the job he called back in 2 days just to make sure it was working, just like he said he would. My husband and I are very pleased with our new and quot;Computer Guyand quot;. Debbie
Description of Work: My husband and I aren't exactly computer savy so when our laptop slowed way down and then wouldn't sign on to the internet my husband tried to "reset" the whole thing. Bottom line it didn't fix it and we weren't able to use it at all. I can't actually tell you specifically what Loren did but it's like a new computer now.

He amazes me, and I been around computers for 25- 30 years. he stays on top of things, things that I've fallen behind on he is a head of the curve all the time.
