It went fine. They did a fine job. It was just a small job but it was reasonably priced so i feel like it was a good price for the job.

We met Tom in our previous home that we sold, and we moved here to our new home, we kept in touch with him to do some electrical repairs and upgrades. We basically moved into a house that had many electrical issues and Tom was very diligent in seeking out the problems and gave us a thorough overall report. He then proceeded to fix all the issues at a fair price and we now feel safer in our new home. The approximate cost does not include the garage door opener or ceiling fans. He was here 3 days and we extremely pleased with the outcome.

Tom did an extensive investigation to pinpoint the reason the exterior garage lights tripped the GFI circuit breaker. Another company attempted to pinpoint the source about a month ago and failed and was very expensive and never really fixed the problem. Tom was able to determine the problem was caused by a faulty 3 way switch underground cable. He explained to me in detail (inclusive of a diagram) what was causing the problem.

Tom returned my call promptly and even showed up a few minutes early to install the GFI outlet. Tom went out of his way to schedule the rest of the work for a time that was convenient for us. He was prompt (even called 15 minutes before he showed up to tell me he would be there in 15 minutes). He was quiet, neat, and cleaned up after the job. The final charge for the work was less than the estimate, so that was an unexpected plus. I will definitely call him in the future and will highly recommend him to family and friends. He's all around very professional.

He returned my call the same day, we agreed on a date he would do the work. He called before he came to say he was on his way, and would be early. I had work area covered and ready for him. Job also involved going to and from attic. Took 50 minutes. Polite. Work truck was a surprise as it is a used emergency rescue van he bought from the city. He will obtain attic exhaust fan and call for time to install that.

Very neat and organized. He was great and professional. he has always gone out of his way to help.

A nice guy comes, he explains everything. He's prompt. He always answers the phone, that's a plus. They will come in the evening so you don't have to stay home from work. He tries to work his schedule around yours. It's wonderful.

Tom was very honest and conscientious about how much work and money to invest. He performed the work in three increments and communicated extremely well throughout the process. He arrived when he said he would. In addition to replacing the wiring, he added smoke alarms and light fixtures. He pointed out several areas of concern and non-code. I would have liked for him to clean up a bit though as there was a lot of wiring left behind for us to dispose. We still have more wiring to be done in two garages and will contact him again for those jobs.

It went fine. He was on time and on estimate.

The true test of hiring a contractor is asking the question of yourself, when the job is done, would you have them back to do more work? The answer in the case of Berea Electric is absolutely. The firm's owner, Tom Wozencraft, went above and beyond what was required. I needed a special circuit to accommodate electronic equipment I purchased, and Tom, just to make sure, visited the company I purchased the equipment from and determined their circuit specifications to make sure he could duplicate it in my home. The end result was a first-class job completed within estimates by a real professional.

Tom was wonderfully thorough and responsive. He considered many options, took my suggestions to heart, and prepared a detailed estimate. We went with another contractor because his estimate was much higher than a competitor's.

Great experience. Tom was very knowledgeable, explained everything needed in great detail. Very prompt service, returned calls quickly. We will use Berea Electric in the future and recommend this company to friends!

They were very reasonable, and very responsible. They were very easy to work with. He was a very honest and helpful contractor.

Sent an email to ask about hooking-up an attic exhaust fan. Two days later, Tom called back, but I had already scheduled with another electrician to do the job. At least he called, many electricians I contacted did not call back at all.

He was able to fit me in when he had other jobs going as well. He came to look at the job the day I called him and did the work the following day. He was very knowledgeable, had great communication, and is a very nice individual. He did the job in the amount of time quoted and the price was as quoted. I am very happy with my new overhead light and with his work.

The overall experience was excellent. Tom showed up on time and provided a thorough examination during the bidding process. He was about 10-15% higher than another bid, but the quality of his bidding was about 100% better than the cursory ''look-see'' by a large organization that is highly recommended in these pages. Tom showed up on time to begin the work, did the work in the time and at the price he stated, and he cleaned up after himself. The price was high but the work was of a quality that properly fit the price. I would hire Berea Electric again.

Having had Tom over to our house to do a job recently, we did not hesitate to call him back when we desired to have further work completed. This man radiates honesty, trustworthiness and an old-fashioned work ethic. We felt so comfortable with him that we left him alone in our home to do his job while we went to work. The day after the job was completed, we got a call from Tom offering to return and do a little something more in the attic free of charge. This was not a part of the original contract. I have written a number of reviews for Angie's List, but none that I have felt so strongly about as those for Tom & Berea Electric. After having worked as an electrician for other companies for many years, Tom started his own company a short while ago. Judging by the high quality of his work and the standards to which he holds himself, Berea Electric will soon be a well known and well respected name in the Cleveland area. Do not hesitate to call. You will not be disappointed!

Tom is extremely thorough and cares deeply about his work. We were very impressed with his knowledge and work ethic. He was very accurate in his estimates and did his work in a timely manner. He removed his boots in the house, changing them for work slippers, was careful to clean up his work area, and left our home in the same condition he found it. We would recommend Tom and his company, Berea Electric, to anyone without the slightest hesitation. First rate work!
