Did a very good job. Was friendly and professional. A neighbor walked over while he was at the house and asked if he could stop over and look at a problem they were having. He agreed and took the time to repair their work as well. Would definitely use him again!

Discussed 3 items to be repaired and hourly rate via telephone. Arrived as scheduled. He provided detailed explanation of issues and traveled to a local store for parts including a new fluorescent light fixture installed in garage. Correctly concluded basement fixture only needed a fluorescent tube light bulb and not a ballast. Rewired and replaced GFI socket and socket cover under deck to correct problem with deck lights working intermittently. All areas were left clean after work was performed.

Contractor came to house to provide estimate ($128 fee). I tried calling for follow up to get complete estimate (was not left at time of inspection). I had to leave a message, as no-one answered. No-one ever responded to my call. I subsequently used a different company to perform work.

I chose this company based off of their location, the high ratings on Angie's List, and the fact that they specialized in work with ceiling fans. I was very happy with his work. He is very nice, and not at all pushy. The price was very reasonable, and I did receive a discount from him which I greatly appreciated.

Great. I hope to have him install a ceiling fan in the living room in the future.

He was very honest. As soon as I called him I was very comfortable with him. He even called to let me know he was running just a little behind, which I wouldn't have even noticed. I would definitely call him again if there is ever another issue. He is top shelf.

See above. My power kept going out, and with it, my furnace, during the coldest time of the year, and Tom did everything he could to make sure I wasn't stuck without power and heat all night, to the point of being on call way past the time most people would stop helping customers. If he hadn't intervened so successfully with the utility company to make sure they came back out to my house a second time and made the repair they should have made the first time, I'd be sitting here right now heading into an ice storm without functional electricity and heat in my home. I am incredibly grateful to have had him go way beyond the extra mile to make sure I wasn't stranded without heat and electricity in the middle of a cold winter night. It was a great experience to encounter a contractor with such integrity and genuine care for a new customer in need of help (without charging me an arm and a leg), and I can't recommend him highly enough.

Everything from beginning to end went very well. I called to schedule a service call and he gave me a ballpark estimate over the phone. He showed up on time and the bill was less than expected. I was very happy with his professionalism and punctuality.

He did everything he said, when he said would, he gave realistic evaluation work and costs. I trust him to get the job done and done well.

Tom did a great job, I originally had him out for a plumbing job but he was honest and said that the type of job I wanted him to do is something he typically doesn't do, but my wife and I wanted an outlet on the outside and Tom did it in two days of coming out and giving the estimate. He did a great job, was on time, and cleaned up after himself. Hope to do business with him in the future.

Last night, my wife and I turned on a lamp and the power in three rooms went out. Flipping the breaker switch didn't work, so I left it off and logged into Angie's List. This morning, based on the great reviews here, I called Tom and asked him to check out my breaker box. Within two hours, he was onsite. He inspected each of the outlets on the circuit, as well as the breaker box and determined that one of the outlets had shorted out. After replacing the outlet, he went back around and checked each suspect outlet, and verified that the power was running through that breaker as it should be. As everybody else is saying, Tom was very friendly and didn't mind explaining everything he was doing and what his theories were. I was particularly pleased to notice that he had set out a piece of cardboard under his van, to catch something that was slowly dripping. That demonstrated a consideration that I don't see very often, these days, and it made me like him all the more. His price is a little bit high, but I consider it an investment in a relationship that I anticipate building for years to come.

I need some breaker work done on the weekend, after a fuse started to smoke. Tom explained his emerency fees, and regular weekly rates. My choice, but I wanted it fixed quickly. He complied, and pointed out the damaged area. Less honest, would have tried to replace the whole box, as I wouldn't have known the difference.I was happy I could get someone on a Saturday, and get it fixed within several hours.

Tom did a great job and worked wonderfully around our needs and schedule. He had a sense of what we would like to see done first. He hung the chandilier in the kitchen, then fixed up my bathroom so I could see well. In the basement he worked around a painter and made sure outlets were installed in time for our moving day so we could plug in our TV.

It went excellent. He was very knowledgeable, prompt, very organized and efficient. He cleaned up very well. Overall, a very exceptional job. He was not the cheapest, but he was well worth it.

I called Tom, the owner of Berea Electric, and spoke with him about our jobs. Tom indicated he would get back to me about scheduling. Tom called a few days later and indicated he could come out the next day to work. He arrived at the appointed time. He quickly addressed the issues that cold be executed and consulted with me on the others (see above).

He was very professional and meticulous. He was obviously very knowledgable and did excellent work. I appreciated that he was willing to fit me in before his vacation, and the fact that he was an animal lover.

I can't say enough how much I appreciated the service I received from Berea Electric. My water heater died over Memorial Day weekend and we had a plumbing company out to fix it in the afternoon after the holiday. They told us the problem was electrical and there was nothing they could do. I called Berea Electric at 3:30 in the afternoon, explained the problem, and they came out immediately and got everything working the same day! Tom stayed late and did a great job. It was "above and beyond" anything I would have expected. Wonderful company and very affordable as well.

Tom was extremely professional and cordial. He was always willing to answer my questions, no matter how mundane. Tom's price was exactly what he had quoted, and the work was done on-time. Tom cleaned-up after himself, explained what he was doing and why, and was generally good-natured and knowledgeable. Yes, Tom is expensive, but he honestly understands the job at hand, and with something as important as electrical work, I would rather pay the premium for good work than have something go catastrophically wrong. I have lots of DIY experience, and I was very impressed with the methodical nature with which Tom went about his job. He treated my house as his own, and for that, I am grateful. Overall, I am pleased with my choice in Tom.

He came out to do the estimate on the day that I called. After checking the projects, his price seemed very fair. An appointment was set for the next week. He arrived on time, was polite and professional, and worked efficiently. Everything was completed in even less time than he had estimated.

It went very well, they helped us out because they told us the problem and we were able to fix it ourselves. They were prompt and very professional. They were also very helpful.

The wiring from the pole to the outlet was already done so he did not have to do that. I had to have him come back out to fix the switch because it shorted out. When I called him the first time to the work he could not come because it was snowing and he was not able to make it. Then when I called him back he told me I would have to wait longer. He finally did come out and do the work at the end of the week.
