They knew what they were doing and were just great. They had everything done in an hour.

Tom arrived at the time he said he would. He identified and repaired an electrical problem for lighting that was not working (both inside and outside fixtures). He also did a nice job of caulking our newly installed outside lights. Inside, Tom replaced a ceiling fan that no longer worked with a new ceiling light fixture. Tom worked quickly, explained what he did, and gave us his Angie's List member discount. If we ever need electrical work done in the future, we will definitely call this company.

Tom was very professional.and prompt. Thoroughly checked out house fuse panel after power was shut off by fire department due to ground connection arcing. Made suggestions for future upgrades without being pushy.

Excellent. Tom was a very nice gentleman and a true professional. He quickly and efficiently diagnosed the issue with the outdoor outlet and replaced it. He also explained what the issue was and why it happened. I would highly recommend Tom/Berea Electric.

Went very well. The technician fortunately has an outlet box in his truck and installed immediately.

He said it would be the end of the day or the following for the estimate to be complete and he would call. No mention of a written estimate. A week later and no estimate or word back. We are going with the other electrician. He was nice. Seemed to be knowledgeable. When no notes were taken! It is a fairly large project with some major parts. The electrician we are going with is dividing it into 3 sections or phases even. He drives an old ambulance, so do not be surprised when he shows up. I was a surprised.

Called Berea electric on a Monday and set up a 9:30am appointment for Wednesday. Showed up right on time and got to work. Did an excellent job of running all the wires and installing fixture. Not an easy job I must say. Tom's a great guy and very informative. Have used Berea Electric in the past and will use them again when needed,

What a great experience! We wanted a ceiling fan installed in the family room but there was no wiring to do so. We called BEREA ELECTRIC for an estimate. We were given a reasonable estimate and then asked about installing an exterior security light for the back of the house. Again, a very reasonable quote. We were given a quote for the whole job and a start date. BEREA ELECTRIC was right on time! The work was done in a few hours. BEREA ELECTRIC is personable, tidy and respectful. We would not hesitate to call on BEREA ELECTRIC again or to recommend BEREA ELECTRIC to our neighbors and friends. We are very pleased!

Some of the projects have not been so easy. He's professional, gets the job done and is always honest, pragmatic and easy to work with. I also like that he explains the installation process to me in a way that I can easily understand. We plan to work with him for many years to come.

My wife and I gave Tom a written list of issues we wanted to have looked at in the house we are currently in escrow with. Also on that list we asked to be given estimates on the work. Tom was made well aware of everything we were desiring. He responded well to our phone calls and emails, and showed up on time to his appt. But then he flat out refused to complete the evaluation we had asked for, and further refused to give an estimate on the work. I had specifically mentioned an insulation/wiring conflict I wanted looked at in the attic. He refused to do this. If it was not within his capability or something he felt uncomfortable doing, he should have mentioned it during our initial phone call. He refused to give estimates because of the chance that we might use him for the work, which he wanted no part of. I've no idea why someone with bills to pay would not want work, but given the negative reviews on his billing, we wouldn't have chosen him anyway. We just wanted a ball park in order to move forward with the negotiations on the house. Tom stalled this with his unprofessional behavior. Tom is Berea Electric. One person. So, his range of knowledge and abilities may be limited. His schedule as well. All things to consider before hiring. Oh, and as I am writing this, I recall my initial phone call to what I thought was the company line, was met with a simple, "Hello". I thought I had perhaps misdialed. I had to ask if I had reached Berea Electric. A minor complaint, I know, but it speaks volumes to Tom's lack of professionalism.

Overall, he was fast and the chandelier is working fine. Just priced too high for so simple a job.

Just wanted to say Tom did excellent job from the time he answer the phone and until he left after the job was done right.I had an issue with my dyer.I thought the heating element .I had a gentleman that came out and told me I had a small electrical fire and an electrician to check the outlet.So I looked here on Angie's List.I called one gentleman but was not able to come for about two weeks.This was when we had that storm sandy coming through and there was a lot of outages.I also tried a few other places.So I called Berea Electric.Tom was busy but made sure he would call me back on that Wednesday night and would be able to come out either Thursday or the following Tuesday.He called on Thursday and was able to come out that morning.He explained to me what happen.He was very professional.I am grateful that he was able to come out and fix my electrical issues.I would recommend him and will use him if I need an electrician in the future

They were very professional and they helped us get some parts. We were trying to get things done all at one time; by talking to them on the phone we were able to get what we needed part-wise so that when they came they could come one time and get everything done and save us the expense. They were very helpful in providing information about what we needed so that when he came out he could take care of everything at one time.

Tom came out, inspected the work to be performed, and gave a great estimate. He took the time to examine the breaker box's condition, evaluated several options and found a way to feed the line with minimal disruption (and cost). I found Tom to be very meticous, clean, professional, and courteous. He even covered up all the shelves in the room he was working so they would get all dusty!

On a Saturday evening, we noticed smoke coming out of the breaker box in the basement. We called Berea Electric based on the excellent reviews from Angie's List. Tom told my husband what to do and said he would be at our house shortly. When he arrived, he examined the box, and replaced all the faulty breakers. He was very professional and friendly. We would call him again for any electrical repair.

I've used him several times and the service was wonderful. He works by himself and he's very nice, approachable and a very hard worker. He's the only person I would trust to do my wiring and I would leave my door open for him to gain access to my home. That's how much I trust him.

Made an appointment with Tom to do work at the house on 2/1/12. Showed up at the appointed time ready to work. Took about 2 hours to complete work, and work area was left spotless. Would defiantly use Berea Electric for any future work I have done. Extremely polite & thorough

Owner Tom Wozencraft came to do the work. He was on time, professional and thorough. He was open to any questions and very thorough in answering each one. He did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards (a critical operation in the eyes of my wife) and I would be happy to recommend him to anyone.

I was extremely happy with them. I would send them to work on my mom's house. I would recommend him to anybody and he is very dependable and very trustworthy, a nice guy. It was A-1 service and he was on time and he just did a great job and I am grateful to Angie's list because he did a great job.

Just a perfect expierence. We will use again for our electric repairs
