I scheduled an appointment for an estimate to have french doors installed. This would involve removing a window and cutting brick. Christian left a message on my voice mail at 4:12 saying that he was just leaving another job and had to stop and get gas. He also said he'd wait to hear from me to make sure we were still on. Really?? Our appointment was scheduled for 4:30, knowing this was approximate since he would be coming to our home from another worksite. I think it is unprofessional to do this minutes prior to your appointment. Needless to say, I did not call him back, I will use another company that showed up for the appointment. Maybe he wasn't interested in the job since he hasn't called since leaving that message.

Got an estimate for windows and doors. Prices were EXTREMELY expensive compared to other estimates.

We received an estimate on replacement windows. We only wanted to replace four windows. My only negative with this experience was the push to replace all the windows. When I say push I mean we would receive a considerable discount to replace nine windows, but if we chose to replace four we would pay full price. If they could discount nine, they should have been able to discount four. I also wanted the wood look which was not a standard option.

The workers showed up on time, were very polite, worked like crazy, and finished a few hours early. They broke one marble window sill, but replaced it before leaving with one of equal quality--no argument. The cleanup at the end was thorough. The estimater, who also monitored the workers, knew his stuff. He measured carefully and showed us everything. I felt like we saved money by NOT paying a company with a large showroom and/or inventory. Every window and door frame was made to measure.

We decided not to pursue window installation just yet for financial reasons.

Initially, our experience was good. Christian came out and looked at the job and talked to me about what needed to be done. His brother is his painter and he also came out and looked over the job. Christian came out a second time and went over a catalog of trim pieces to determine exactly what we wanted. When he left, he told me they would have the estimate to us within a week and that is where things bogged down. Jenn, the office manager, kept stalling and delaying, saying she was having difficulty getting the prices. This went on for weeks. I kept asking for the estimate but she never did get it to me. Nor did I ever get the estimate from Gabriel, the painter. I specifically asked if they were still interested in the job and Jenn assured me they were. That was the last I heard from them. My last couple of emails and phone calls were unreturned. We were not shopping for estimates. The job was theirs; I just needed the numbers to know how much we were going to be spending. In these economic times, I do not understand why a contractor would treat a potential customer this way. I guess they have so much business that they can afford to lose my goodwill and that of all my friends and neighbors. If they can't meet their self imposed deadlines when they are trying to get my business, they sure aren't going to do so when my check is in their hands. This was one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had with a contractor.

The service was great. They were professional and courteous.

Salesperson was very professional. I was not home for the installation. Damage was done to the edges of most window frames inside the house. I would paint my rooms after the installation if I had to do this again.

Bill, Chris and Matt are friendly, professional and considerate of one's needs. Bill sat down with us and discussed exactly what we wanted, how to achieve our goal and what it would cost. Bill is very mild mannered, but a fierce advocate for a job done to our satisfaction. We were very impressed with the perfection of the work done as well as the spotless surroundings after the job. Sawing away a brick wall was an immense job and Bill instructed us on how to keep the dust down before the job and cleaned up entirely after the work was done. He also suggested we contact surrounding neighbors to warn them of noise and dust from that job! While working on casement windows, Bill, Chris and Matt were concerned with maintaining cleanliness inside as well as out and didn't leave as much as a scrap of metal inside or out after completion.
