They are known in this area as Roth Painting LC. Drapes were removed from the windows and either rolled into balls or just dropped on the sofa or beds. The entire interior was supposed to get two coats of paint. An area of baseboard behind the front door was never painted. Another large area of baseboard in the main hall was smudged. An area on the ceiling in the second bedroom was smudged or not painted. A lamp was dropped and broken. The toilet seat cover was cracked half way across (like someone stood on it). There was paint on a pillow case that would not wash out. A soaking wet rag was left on the quilt in the master bedroom and it soaked through to the mattress. There were fine and heavier paint spatters everywhere - cabinets, doors, telephones, furniture, floors. The laundry and bathroom walls have large areas with "grit" that are readily seen and felt. There were rough areas on the laundry walls that were filled. They were supposed to be sanded and smoothed. This did not happen. The laundry was in better condition before they painted it. There was a white powdery dust everywhere. We had to buy ceiling paint and supplies to complete what they didn't do. It took us days to clean the house, Bob was notified the day the lamp was broken and the day the toilet seat cover was discovered. He said he would reimburse us the cost of replacement. There were anywhere from two to five men here for the five days it took to "complete" the job. They were really in a hurry to get out of here on Friday. We took a quick walk through with the site boss and everything seemed okay. But once we started to put the house back in order, we started finding the faults. We called Bob Roth and explained our dissatisfaction and he did offer to come himself and do things right. However by that time, I just wanted my home back. The only thing good I can say is that the workers were polite. By the way, we have never been reimbursed.
