The entire experience from beginning to end exceeded expectations. During the selection process, all options were thoroughly explained and we were kept informed throughout, from sale to install and follow-up. The crew arrived at the agreed upon time, went to work quickly and completed the installation of 17 windows in one day, and completed any necessary clean up. We also received a call after completion to ensure that we were satisfied, which we certainly were. We are delighted with the appearance and features of our new windows and believe that we have experienced an excellent cost/value project.

Everything went very smoothly. The company arrived on time, removed all the old windows and installed the new ones in one day. I am very satisfied with the new windows and the workmanship of the installers as well as their professionalism. I would recommend them to my friends any day.

I was very impressed with the process. I originally bought windows for the front of our home and enjoyed their product and cost and used them again to finish the rest of our windows. The windows have been very good. The house is so much quieter and over this past winter our utility bills were kept low. The staff was excellent to work with and responsive to our order and installation appointment.

I attended the IX Home and Garden show. I set up multiple appointments with a few companies for window replacement quotes. Universal Windows sales rep put no pressure on me and gave me the best advice. He also gave me the best price. It only took 4 weeks for them to manufacture my windows. The installer was on time, they completely laid out clothe over my carpet to be sure nothing got dirty, was very efficient, and had to replace 15 windows. They started at 9am and completed the job by 4pm. They did an absolutely beautiful job. The installer was very knowledgable and very professional. I am planning to replace a patio door in a year and will be requesting the same installer. I would highly recommend Universal Windows Direct!

I received an in-home estimate that was not high pressure and at my convenience. I was given all of the benefits and features of Universal Windows, which are made right here in Ohio. Even though Ohio had a very severe winter, the guys were still able to replace my windows in December. The installers were very nice men who did a very professional job. They also put drop cloths down to keep the inside of my home clean, which I really appreciated. The new windows look great. They have definitely helped keep my house warmer and less drafty. They have also increased my home's curb appeal. Because the windows easily tilt in, I no longer need to climb ladders to wash windows. I highly recommend Universal Windows for their quality, professionalism and reasonable pricing.

After researching many window companies and comparing prices I chose Universal Windows Direct from Akron Ohio to install windows in my sunroom. Joe Pianecki was very professional and informative with the demonstration, performance and installation of the windows. The installers, Jason and Robert did a superb job! windows were delivered couple weeks early which amazed my wife & i Things are usually late. Installers right on time, prompt, friendly, courteous, and explained what they would be doing. Answered any questions we had and tried to explain in detail why things are done the way they are. Installed windows quickly, efficiently. Cleaned up well. Wouldn't know anyone had done work.

I will not be buying these windows when I can buy the same thing for 1/3 of the price quoted to me after the took off all the promotional stuff. They also have the same exzact

I would have given this company an A if it weren't for the salesman and his lying. I had an older guy who reminded me of my grandpa but don't let him fool you, he will empty your pockets with sob stories any time you try to negotiate. He came out to give an est on a bay window and I was to get a free window for getting an est. But he said because they had to cut out a devider it would be an extra $100. Wasn't $100 worth of work, was kind of a BS fee because they did the same thing with my front windows and didn't charge extra, probably is pretty standard I would imagine. The fee was for having to use a hack saw to cut out the wood, took all of 5 minutes. John, the sales man signed me up for the 3 windows (instead of the bay, they wanted $4K for a bay window) at 2199 and I called the next day unhappy because I did the math and that is more than 700 a window! I called to cancel and said I wanted it for 1500, $500 a window is not a bad price for them (they are very large). John just said no on the phone and told me send in the cancelation letter. So I was doing that and his manager called the next day and said they could do the $1500. Additionally John sold the 0% interest to me but that did not happen in the end. Make sure you read reviews before purchasing, no one should pay $700 a window. . After the negotiating and whatnot was done, it was pretty pleasant. The company was very responsive and informing on dates for measurements and installation, which is much appreciated. The installers were top notch and came out on a bad weather day for me. I wish I could give separate reviews for install and sales, installers would have gotten A's. Oh a side note, they make you have your significant other there for estiments. A pretty dumb rule even after I explained I have young children, they remained addiment that my wife be there. I don't know if it is a tactic or what but you all should know they require that.

Universal Windows Akron did a great job! Initially, we had a good choice of products - the advantages of each product was explained. The workers were very professional. They had to work around bad weather, but the job was still done in a timely manner. The house looks great!

The cost was reasonable but I don’t recall. Everybody was professional and cleaned up. They knew what they were doing. They did an extra work for me. I will tell others about their quality of work and that they are thorough. Everything is great.

I am not happy, the provider from Universal Windows is incompetent. He swore that the leak was not caused by poor roofing or the flashing around the chimney but from bad/worn out tuck pointing. Since he was unable to return and do the tuck pointing work as he said he would I had to find another contractor to do it. The other contractor who I had do the work is one I have dealt with before. They had already done work for me in 2013, replacing the flashing around the chimney and a new freeze cap on the chimney. They did the tuck pointing, also a cement wash on the freeze cap to fill in hairline cracks in it. (I had recently had a new water heater and furnace installed. That might have caused the hairline fractures from the installers putting on a new chimney vent cap). The provider from the second company pointed out that some of the new flashing installed by Universal Windows was not caulked in spots and fixed that issue. After all that the roof still leaks, it is coming in between the wood frame of the roof and the bricks of the chimney. With water running down the bricks in my attic. I am now waiting for Universal Windows to make this right. I did tell them that I do not want the original contractor to work on my house. another issue is the provider from Universal Windows did the flashing around the chimney after the new shingles had been installed. I have been told by that second contractor that the next step would be to remove the flashing done by Universal and re-flash the whole chimney.

They called and came when they scheduled the appointment, removed and replaced slider. They were very efficient and did a great job. I will be ordering windows in the future without hesitation. If you need windows and such you should call them...you can't go wrong. God Bless

Each time we someone over, we were met by a courteous individual. There were no high pressure sales techniques to have us sign at that moment. The first time was to replace the windows. They did a fantastic job, and cleaned up after themselves. The second time was to replace our roof. Even my neighbors were surprised that a tear off was completed in one day (our house is a ranch with an attached garage). If you need proof that we really like this company, we had them replace our front door about a month and a half ago. We had one small issue, nothing to get upset about, but Universal Windows Direct responded immediately and corrected the problem. When I have called customer service, I have always been met by a polite person. Everyone, to include the workers have been professional, and again, polite. Their prices are about average, some higher, some lower, but their quality has been unsurpassed. I would HIGHLY recommend Universal Windows Direct.

The gentlemen who did the job were very professional. They were careful to make sure the door was sealed correctly. Their work was very neat and they cleaned up all the debris left over from the job. The door slides perfectly. I am happy with the job they did and the professionalism of the installers.

Incredible company with fantastic products. Over a two year period I replaced every exterior window (20) and added a beautiful new front door with side lights. The windows/doors have dramatically changed the look of my home. I get compliments all the time from neighbors and friends. Had an issue with one window which cracked during a cold snap. Called Todd, from service dept., within a week I had a brand new window at no cost to me! I also had condensation in one of my side lights in the front door. Again after talking to Todd I had a brand new side light window no questions asked. They stand behind their products.

First let me say that we had several window companies come and tell us about their windows. We felt that Akron owner Joe was very knowledgeable and personable. He was very up front and answered all of our questions. We felt that the windows were the best value for the money. They were not the cheapest bid but not the highest either. But they are the best ones that we saw from all the competitors that came to our house. When the day of the instillation came the men were here when they said they would be and went straight to work. They were all very nice. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure things were put back in place. One of the workers showed me how to work the windows and made sure all my questions were answered. I would use this company again. We highly recommend them.

Pricing was competitive with other local companies. No hard sell, salesman was upfront with pricing without playing games. Installers were prompt and professional. Followed up and replaced screens that were slightly damaged during installation. Cleanup could have been better. Found trimmings around the installed areas after installation.

The initial salesperson did not call or arrive due to car trouble, but we allowed another salesperson to come out and give us am estimate. The process of ordering the windows went smoothly, however I did notice that being proactive and calling them to have the windows measured and then ultimately installed meant quicker service. Installation by Tom Miller and Jonthan Helmuth was excellent. They were on time, got the job done efficiently, and cleaned up after.

I couldn't be happier with my new windows. The difference from the old windows is incredible. Ben Murphy was very professional. He explained in detail every question I had and took his time to show me how to care for our windows. Mr. Murphy and his team were also extremely respectful of us and our home. I will be requesting him again when we finish in the Spring.

I definitely will recommend this company and am already looking at what doors they should put in!

The job was completed in one day however they were going to leave my new windows without a finishing trim. It looked like brown semi transparent caulk holding them in the existing frame. Sloppy The sales person assured me they would look great not!!!. Was sick over what I spent I could have bought Anderson windows for what I paid. However they did respond and put in a trim. That should have been done before they left.
