By the end of day ,,,,,great. Cody Hinkle did an exceptional job of educating me on the differences of quality Windows, very professional and helpful.

Their staff was very professional and helpful throughout the entire process.

This was the third time we had work done. They showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves when they left. They even kept our animals inside during the install.

I am very happy with my new windows! Joe came out to my house and gave a great presentation on the windows and his company. He took the time to answer all my questions. The installers were on time and very professional. Not only would I use them again, I would recommend them to everyone!

Everything was great! We recently moved into our first home and wanted to upgrade the windows! We found Universal Windows Akron had awesome pricing and were really great during the whole process! As this is our first home, we were looking for a company that would be not only fair in pricing but also patient with all of our questions. Joe the owner came to our home and did just that, he was incredibly informative, gave us lots of options in our budget, and gave us time to think about exactly what we needed. After our in house visit, Joe was still available to readily available for further questions making life super easy! The crew was quick, kind, and courteous of our home! The windows look amazing and I highly recommend!!!

After searching for windows and a large slider in box stores, nationally known products, and all the local competition, I found Universal Windows Direct to have the highest quality products and it wasn't even close! The installers, Danny and his crew (who were employees, not subcontractors) were clearly experienced professionals. They let me know exactly when they were going to arrive, took care protecting our hardwood floors, detailed oriented, cleaned up, and verified everything regarding the installation was done to their high standards.

The work went much faster than expected and the crew was very professional. What a difference both inside and out. If you decide on Universal Windows and live in North central Ohio request the Ray Smith crew. You will not be disappointed with the window quality or the professional installation. The team was conscientious of cleanliness both inside and outside the replacement area. The workmanship is exceptional. Size and fitment are a perfect match.

The salesman, Josh V, was outstanding. Each time I had a problem he worked hard to resolve it. The installers worked very hard in very hot weather. It took a long time for the removal of old windows/slider and to install the new ones. The biggest issue I had was they left after installation and didn't do a walk around with me. This necessitated two returns to fix what wasn't done correctly the first time. Stickers aren't removed and windows cleaned on installation by this company, but I did this myself. I also cleaned up the nails and outside frame scraps. What I couldn't fix were scratches and caulk problems, so the installers needed to return twice to fix these and other problems such as foam insulation on my back deck & railing which had to be removed. Quality of windows is very good. I would use the company again, ensuring they did a walk around prior to leaving and fixed items not fixed. The second time they returned I wasn't home (it was all outside work) and I would insist upon being home next time.

We bought our house a couple of years ago and began the updating process. One of our first purchases for the home was to update some of the windows. We used a different company at that time; however, when we wanted to look into upgrading some more, we decided to give Universal Windows a shot. Our salesman, Jake, was great to work with. He broke down the differences in each type of window they sold and how those differences would impact us and our home. It was a much different experience than we had the first time around with the other company. Jake was very patient in working with us (we also had an infant, toddler, and some cats there to distract us plenty) and really made sure that we understood the product. We had planned to only do a few of our windows because there were significant problems with them (they were the original windows and falling apart); however, we loved the product that was presented so much that we decided to move forward and complete the rest of our window project. We are excited for our new windows and extremely happy with our experience.

It went great! Jake was our salesman and he was very knowledgeable and patient with us while we chose what we wanted. Overall, it was a very good experience and the new windows are beautiful.

Our Salespersons name was Jake, he was right on time for his appointment, and was very knowledgeable concerning the Windows we purchased and made my Wife Denise and I feel very secure and confident about our purchase, we feel as though we've made a friend, Jake was not a pushy or over the top salesperson...to the contrary ,we felt like he had our best interest at stake and that he cared about us, after a ver definitive sales presentation we were eager to buy these great quality Windows from Jake, Respectfully, (Jeff Mercer)

After we committed to the work they kept us informed as our project progressed from order to measurement to production to installation. They were very flexible regarding the measurement and installation appointments, ensuring the times were convenient for us. Once installation began I was very pleased with the professionalism of the crew and the quality of their products and work. The crew cleaned up as they worked, never leaving any mess for any period of time. Despite me telling them it was not really necessary, they put on booties every time they entered our home. I watched with great interest almost every facet of the work, I am confident they did things carefully and properly. They pointed out several areas where the original builder cut corners, some of which caused issues they had to correct. They were very patient and answered every question I had as they worked. It was very easy to see the quality of the new windows as compared to the originals when they were placed side by side. I also believe their warranty is second to none, hopefully I never have to test it!

Josh did an excellent job of explaining the entire process of replacing windows from start to finish. He also did a nice job of going over the quality of the window itself and the materials used.

I was aghast at Mr. Pianecki's lack of professionalism. He trashed talked other window replacement companies. When I asked him to explain how his company's windows were better he'd revert to saying other companies were crooks, etc. If I asked him to not talk about other companies, he'd say "you asked." I didn't ask him about other companies, just his. I asked if he had any promotion on Angie's List and he said the only thing he cared about Angie's List was that I give him an outstanding review. The other issue was I need permission from HOA board to install. He started trash talking HOA boards, saying how board members' egos caused them to put unnecessary restrictions on owners just as a power play. He seemed very annoyed I wasn't going to place an order immediately. He priced the windows and left. I called another Universal Direct provider (like the product, didn't like the salesman's approach) and found Mr. Pianecki's MSRP quote was $2300 higher than the quote for the same windows & door from the same company. I wouldn't use Mr. Pianecki's company due price inflation and criticism of competitors.

I love my new windows. Danny and his crew did an amazing job installing my windows. I highly recommend this company.

Danny and his crew did a wonderful job. They came out on a Saturday to accommodate my work schedule and installed everything in just one day! Already noticing a difference.

Jake from Universal Windows Direct was very professional and knew his job well. He really cared about our needs and made sure he exceeded them. He covered all of our concerns. We previously talked to another big name window company and their rep was in and out in 20 minutes and didn't even measure. Jake showed great professionalism with a high standard work ethic.
