Good job, installers did a good job, although one of them was a little put out with the size of the window. He kept complaining about how this was the hardest job he had ever done. But they did a good job and cleaned up well after.

Danny and his crew were excellent. Paid attention to detail and made adjustments where necessary to make everything right. Our original windows apparently were not installed very well by the builder of the house (it's 13 years old, we had it built).

We have contracted to replace our window due to the thorough and knowledgeable presentation by Cody Hinkle. Cody demonstrated and explained his replacement window and we feel he showed us a quality product at a fair price.

EXCELLANT! Far exceeding my expectations! Mr. Ben Drake and his 4 man installation crew were so professional, polite, and respectful. They paid attention to every detail. They were so concerned with not making a mess in my home that they left it cleaner than it was before they arrived! I wish I could hire them for ALL of my home repair projects!

We just had all of our exterior doors and windows replaced by Universal Windows Direct. I am here to tell you, I am a huge critic on how things are done, especially when it is a huge cost! Our home was built in 1974, so the windows and doors we had were leaky and the wood was deteriorating. We had other companies come to give estimates, some cheaper and many more expensive. We actually gave our salesman our cheapest estimate and without question, Josh Ventry, was able to get a match, as promised. Since I am not a push over and not too big on the typical sales pitch, Josh did a great job! He brought the products to our home so that we could actually see what we were getting. Over a course of a couple weeks he came to the house as we requested, without hesitation or attitude, to help us pick out the best color for our entry and side door. This was one of the scariest things we have done, seriously! Not real sure how it was all gonna look with much different and lighter tones than previous windows and doors...... Then comes install day :) Danny and his crew actually spent a total of 3 full days completing and ensuring PERFECTION! Danny, as well as his whole crew, was extremely knowledgeable. They took their time to be sure that all was perfect. Any questions that I had, they answered without hesitation. Very friendly and knowledgeable crew! The ONLY issue that we had was the guy that did the measuring, Steve, measuring our Bay window incorrectly AND THEN added inches to it. The manager, Eric, said that was because of the brick on the house, but he ordered a window with the casing at 12.5 inches and we only needed 5.5 inches.......more than double, that would have stood out and made the front of our house look so bad!.....so Danny and crew, after their working hours, in the evening, took great care in solving the problem!! We are so glad that we chose this company! and yes............WE LOVE OUR WINDOWS!! we HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS UNIVERSAL WINDOWS DIRECT!! only suggestions........request, Josh Ventry (sales) and Danny and crew for install!!

Jake was professional, and there was no high rated pressure to buy. He never spoke bad about any other window company. He explained everything clearly, and allowed times to find answers for me if he did not know. We had checked other companies, but for triple pane windows, the their price saved me money. Plus the price was guaranteed if we did not buy that day.

I am satisfied with the quality of the door system, but dissatisfied with the interior finished results. I had to reinstall the security sensors myself. Upon installation completion, I was given small viles of door paint and spackling compound. I was told by the installers that they do not fill nail holes or paint. Again, it was up to me to fill the holes, some quite deep, and repaint my molding strips. It took 4 months to get the door system.

Amazing. Steve was the tech we had and I cannot compliment him and the other worker enough. I'd seen a door installed before from a box store that was basically re-framed and hung and they were done in 30 minutes. These guys recut everything back, filled any gaps, installed new footing and filled everything to match our house perfectly and just exceeded any work I was expecting. The temperature difference is dramatic and the noise difference is most striking to me. They weren't cheap, but the quality is just beyond my wildest expectations. So very, very impressed. Thank you for a job well done!

I am beyond furious this morning. If you are in the market for windows or doors, you'd best think twice before you engage with Universal Windows Direct. After being a month beyond the contracted install date, which was already the furthest day out on their "estimate" (I had to call, they never called me, ever), they cancelled their install appointment for last Saturday (having called me on Thursday to cancel), we reset the install date for this morning. They called yesterday to tell me that one of the windows was broken but they would still come to install and put a board in the window. The guys showed up and not only is one window broken, but a screen is ripped and the door is the wrong size and can't be installed (after having removed my current door). I now have my own door replaced with substantial gapping around the sides and am left with "it will take another 6-8 weeks to order the right door." ********! Let me be clear - the installation crew was awesome, professional and refused my tip for the work they had done because they felt horrible about my circumstances. What kind of company does business this way? What kind of company sets up their installation crews to take the heat for their incompetence? The clock is ticking on how soon you can make good on your contracted commitment - Universal Windows Direct... I'm waiting and I don't intend to wait quietly.

The salesman Jake was great. He came on time, He explained everything perfectly and wasn't pushy about making a sale.

Shawn came out and presented storm door options and verified door and window replacement options. He then worked his magic and gave me an unbelievable price.

Initially their salesman played games with the pricing -- just like a used car salesman. Came in with a really high price and then dangle a lower price if you sign with them immediately. After saying no, I was latter called and then visited by a second/different salesman who offered an even greater discount and a free storm door. This game playing left a really bad taste in my mouth and although I did end up using them, I still feel I overpaid! The actual repair guys were wonderful and did a great job. The product is also high quality. HOWEVER, they sent the incorrect parts the first time, and didn't send enough parts the second time. It took three visits by different repairmen to get my job completed.

Just placed order so far. 8-10 weeks before install. Cody Hinkle was salesman, very professional, patient, and worked with all our questions and concerns and fit us with the windows we wanted. Cody did a wonderful job. Very committed to what he does. He did well working with a skeptical homeowner and did everything in his power to match the exact price point we were aiming for. Keep up the good work! As long as the install goes as well as the sales process we will be very pleased.

The review is for the estimate process. Work is yet to be performed. The estimate process went extremely well. The product was explained thoroughly and the negotiation process was straight forward and low pressure. An agreement was successfully reached on the purchase the replacement windows.

The whole process went smoothly! After measurements were taken, it took 6 weeks for the windows to come in. I received a phone call the day my windows came in and was amazed that they said they could put them in the very next day! I was given a 2 hour window for them to show up the next day, and got a phone call when they were on their way to my house! Installation went very well! You would never know they were in my house all day! They used drop cloths to protect the floors and made sure everything was cleaned up before leaving. The only issue I had was that one window was made with privacy "rain" glass that wasn't supposed to be. They were quick to catch the issue, and called right away to have it fixed. Everyone I spoke to and was very professional and I would highly recommend Universal Windows!

Most excellent... the installers were on time ,very pleasant n clean .... were able to answer my questions without hesitation...they did one at a time and cleaned as they moved to the next one the whole process went very smooth and précis to the end of the job .... hats off to the installers Great job Brian n John thank you to the whole team who made this job successfull....👍👍👍

In summary Universal "Overpromised and Underdelivered!" Project took over five months to complete at a price nearly $10,000 more than a competitive quote that we received. The salesman refused to give a quote for a full tear-off and then we needed the majority of the roof wood replaced after they had half of the shingles removed. They had to be poked and prodded along the way, shared bad information about pricing, told us that our property would be left "looking better than before they were there" but we found plenty of garbage after they left, and told us the final payment wasn't due until we were completely satisfied with the job but they asked for payment after every portion was completed.

I was very nervous to have a company replace the windows on my new home. Alex was super professional and very trustworthy. He had a wonderful understanding of the product! I wouldn't go with any other company. I highly recommend Universal Windows Direct!
