Move for Less LLC

I have used them 2X to move heavy furniture in my house, and would recommend them highly -- very professional and friendly, and made sure I was satisfied with the service.

The movers were courteous and professional. Performed EXACTLY as asked and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied before they left. I am planning to hire them again for our actual move. I want to have the same gentlemen (Alvin and Wayne(?) ) for our next hire in the coming weeks. I cannot say enough great things about this experience. I can't stress enough that you should steer clear of this business. They damaged SEVEN pieces of furniture. Seven. The amount of damage is breathtaking. I have a corner desk that they needed to disassemble. They did not bring any of their own tools but used my tools (they did not ask me if I wanted them to take it apart or if I wanted to do it myself--they just grabbed my tools and went to town on it). They literally ripped the desk apart. I had to use a series of brackets to put it back together. Huge chunks of wood are missing from all these pieces of furniture. But because six of the seven are pressboard, they won't do anything about it. Their contract, which you don't see until they arrive for the move (and so you have no choice but to sign and proceed because what are you going to do at that point when you have to be out of the house?), explicitly excludes pressboard furniture from their damage claims. So if you own anything from Ikea, Wayfair, Target (and who doesn't?) they can do absolutely anything they want with them. The seventh piece of furniture that was damaged is an Amish-built solid oak hope chest, which is now all scratched up. They ask for 30 days to resolve any issue. It has now been nearly 2 months and they are still just telling me they're "looking into it," AND said (direct quote), "I am very confident that a negative review/complaint regarding damages that we are not liable to repair will not help my crusade to get you some sort of compensation." So basically "don't tell other people how terrible we are or we won't do the right thing and resolve this in any way." They also tore up the grass on the public tree lawn across the street from my house when they were trying to back into my driveway (which took them 30 minutes to do--not an abnormally tight driveway by any means, just a normal city driveway on a normal city street--because they obviously have no idea how to drive a moving truck). They said they would come out and take care of that. That was nearly 2 months ago and I'm still waiting. They also took my tools in the truck with them (up in the cab) without telling me, so they'd have them available if needed at the new house. So if they had forgotten them in the cab (which they did do with some of my hardware, which I never received back) I wouldn't have even known about it. Finally, it was raining the day of my move and they did nothing to protect my floors. I had to have the carpets steamed after they left. I understand that they can't do anything about the rain, but to not put anything down to protect my floors was terrible. Oh, and they were late. Look, I get it, pressboard furniture is not the same as solid wood. But some of it is pretty expensive and it's come a long way from the pressboard of the 80s and there is absolutely no excuse for a move of 4 miles to damage SEVEN pieces of furniture, pressboard or not. With one exception, we're not talking cheap $40 bookcases. We're talking beds, filing cabinets, desks, dressers that cost hundreds of dollars each. And we're not talking scratches on the finish. We're talking holes and large (anywhere from 3-6 inches) chunks of wood missing. I've moved a lot of times and I've never experienced anything like this. You're better off hiring the Three Stooges and Laurel & Hardy.

Edwin, Tommy and Will performed my move. They were all very polite and respectful. They worked non-stop, quickly and efficiently. Offer staffers Dominique and Ashante were also very friendly. I seriously underestimated the amount of stuff I had and they were very accommodating as I continued to make changes.

Excellent experience. Movers were punctual and professional. They accomplished the move in less time than estimated.. Were very helpful in how to arrange furniture at new storage facility for maximum access later. As a result, I have recommended Move4Less to several persons.

Will and Dion were fantastic! They showed up on-time, were very pleasant, and went about the job in a professional manner. I didn't need to tell them anything--they had it covered Highly impressed!!!

Move for Less was extremely responsive. I received the estimate and receipts promptly. Phone calls were answered and returned right away. They called with timely reminders and showed up exactly when they said they would. They were extremely careful with our furniture. Bernard and Dan were professional, efficient, and extremely organized. We could not have asked for an easier move.

It was great. No complaints. Everything went as planned and on time. Guys who did the move were extremely careful throughout. No damage was done either to the furniture/ moving stuff or the houses. Highly recommended.

I could not have been more pleased with the professionalism of the four man crew they sent. All really nice, respectful men. They called ahead and showed up on time. The original quote was conservative at $650, but that seemed reasonable. The fee structure is simple and straightforward, and they only charge you from the time they arrive to the time they leave, which I found not to be the standard. I would absolutely use Move4Less again.

The Move for Less guys were hired to move a health club-grade (and weight) treadmill to our basement. Prior to booking, the team asked about model number to be prepared for the move. On the day of service, they called ahead, were punctual, and had everything to do a great job. They were very careful and moved at an appropriate pace. We would hire them again and recommend that you do the same.

Tommy and Will were amazing. They were on time, efficient, friendly and socially distant. My brother ended up in assisted living in January and we had to move him out of his apartment. Our plan was to donate most of the things he no longer needed to Habitat for Humanity, VOA and animal shelters but then COVID-19 hit. None of these places were taking donations so we had to put in storage to donate at a later time. The price was reasonable and I was able to schedule them with a week of my phone call. Thanks you fellows and Move 4 Less.

LaKeisha was very helpful explaining their services and the procedure when I first contacted Move 4 Less. She told me about their services without the hard sell. Tommy and Jim were my movers and they were amazing! They were skilled, efficient, helpful and professional. They were also very courteous! Team was unprepared, slow to start and finish, and my piano was damaged. Claims people tried to shift blame to me after they cited the fact that I had to help their team with the move. The whole experience was terrible.

More men showed up than paid for which was good, but the extras were in training. The guy in charge made every attempt to do a good job but he was clearly outnumbered. Truck was smaller than promised. Cheaper furniture was broken although attempts to fix the more obvious damages were made, more expensive things were scratched, again due to the tiny truck and inexperienced packers. Afterwards found other things broken or damaged. But you get what you pay for.

Move for Less LCC was extremely easy to work with! From scheduling to completion of work they were professional and customer focused. They used email for scheduling confirmation and a reminder, and called the day of a couple of times to keep me updated on their exact arrival time. Overall was extremely pleased and would recommend them, even for the small moves!

horrible they got "lost" for 45 min then didnt want to giv me credit for time they went missing. damaged my stuff. submitted claim. said my pics were blurry sent them again. wasnt told til too late they "didnt receive them". so the claim was denied. eact experience someone else had. beware the reviews!! they are not unfounded.

Went very well! We had 3 movers that did a great job. Very friendly and professional, worked from stop to finish with only a few short water breaks. Worked very hard and was very careful with all the furniture, boxes and totes. This is the second time we have used them and had great experience with both. Price is reasonable and worth it. Would highly recommend

At first I thought this was going to be a great experience throughout as it was the last time I used this pro service. I was wrong! Yes, the movers arrived on time. But, The company stated that the 5% off coupon from Angie's List was only valid if the time went over the two hours paid for upfront. Nowhere on the coupon does it specify these terms. There's more, at the end of my move; that was 2 hours and 18 minutes. I was told that I owed $93.00 dollars extra. This is a scam!!! When I booked the reservation I paid $105 upfront and was told that this was for the travel time, the truck, and the cost of supplies. Firstly, there was no supplies that the movers needed to use because we boxed, taped, and bubble wrapped everything ourselves. The movers severely scratched up the edges and front surface of the oak table. Even with it being wrapped in bubble wrap because they slid it in the truck without a mat underneath. There's more, I paid the movers for 2 hours upfront. The movers took 17 minutes to go over paperwork which they included into the time of the 2-hours paid for labor. At the end of the move, I was told that they did not clock out the travel time to and from the locations. They included it in the 2 hours of labor. This is not what I was told initially and therefore Move4Less has left me very frustrated in an unwarranted manner. My recommendation is that they clearly explain everything in detail prior to the move. I feel as though they attempted to get extra money out of me after I had already paid $342.00 for 2-hours of time. There's more, when I refused to pay the extra money I was threatened with police involvement and spoken to with the use of profanity. To add more fuel to the fire, the company attempted an unauthorized charge to my credit card. This fraudulent activity alerted my credit card company and caused my card to be blocked. Very unprofessional. Highly dissatisfied!

I have used moved for less 3 times for moves within cleveland. They have been prompt, professional and efficient every time. I appreciate their reliability and have recommended them to all my friends and family. thank you guys.
