The workers were professional and courteous and once the job was started it was diligently continued until completion. We had a particular time frame in which we really wanted it completed by and Eli was especially accommodating to make sure it happened. We would highly recommend them.

 + 2 moreEli is providing service that covers all the essentials: irrigation, seeding, mulching, drainage, and weekly maintenance, so that work can be coordinated easily without involving multiple companies. First Eli and his crew turned on the sprinklers, then they came to put mulch, reseed the lawn and address the drainage problem. Everything was very professional. Eli was explaining things to me along the way, it was very reassuring. The communication is very good, too - just e-mail Amy and you get an answer very promptly.

 + -1 morevery well. Eli came out and discussed some options with me first. He was much more knowledgable than the company I had been using. I scheduled the appointment shortly after that and he was about 2 weeks backed up but when he came, he solved my problem by installing a micro-sprinkler solution. He also replaced some broken sprinkler heads and helped me with my outdoor sprinkler timer.

 + 2 moreImmediately following contacting Eli, we met and agreed upon a plan for new landscaping, a cost estimate and projected date for beginning the work. At the appointed time, Eli and crew arrived early with top soil, gravel, shrubs, and flora to begin a two-day work project. The second day they arrived early with mulch and other items for completion of the agreed upon plan. Each day, the crew worked diligently and meticulously to create the landscape as planned. They consulted with me throughout the process for questions and/or an unexpected problem occurred. There was also a walk through with Eli at the end of their work to assure that I was pleased with the results. I highly recommend Eli's Landscaping.
Description of Work: A total new landscape. Old large stone covering of entire front lawn was removed to allow installation of pipes for drainage of water/flooding following each rain. This work resulted in a bare, heavily rooted frontage, with a long trench filled with gravel. Most unattractive.

 + 0 moreEli came to the house to evaluate our problems and needs, assured us that he could fix it and then promptly followed up with an estimate that listed exactly what he would and for what price. There were no surprises. His crew was professional and courteous. They started and finished the job exactly as scheduled, and did excellent work. After the job was finished and we had an unusual dry spell (rain had been forecast but didn't occur), Eli came out and, for an extremely reasonable price, immediately set up a temporary irrigation system with timed watering. It was so refreshing to deal with someone who backs his promises with action--when he said he would do something, it was done as and when promised. I would absolutely recommend and use them again.
Description of Work: Remove grass, re-grade and install new lawn soil, starter fertilizer, seed & straw (front and back yard, approximately 1/4 acre); create beds around both front tress with soil & mulch, build sandstone wall and general landscaping; and prune and trim large trees and grind roots.

 + 3 moreTerrifically. Eli's Landscaping & Design handled everything professionally, worked very quickly & neatly. Cleaned up after the job was done. The crew is very nice & courteous. Eli is a pleasure to deal with.
Description of Work: Besides the weekly lawn maintenance, which Eli's Landscaping crew does for us, he also handles our fertilizer applications which are scheduled throughout the summer, trims the bushes as needed , of which we have a tremendous amount, which grow quite rapidly, & handles the weeds for us also. Recently the bigger project which the crew handled was removing the entire front landscaping, (which had to go due to a waterproofing job (done with a contractor) that had been done prior, which left a lot of the bushes in disarray), the crew also dug out the remainder of the huge maple tree stump with its branches that were extended throughout the lawn (which was also cut due to the waterproofing job.) The work was done with an excavator. Afterwards new grass was planted throughout the front lawn together with starter fertilizer, and mulch was installed where the bushes were previously. (New landscaping will be scheduled to be installed next spring/summertime.)

 + -1 moreEli's had a good-sized crew, and plenty of equipment, to finish the main part of the job in just 2 days. We made some changes throughout the project, but Eli's was very responsive, and they have been here whenever we needed help or had a concern. They helped us to make well, thought out, decisions regarding this project from the start. Plus, they are still coming out to fertilize, re-seed spots, and all the follow-up needed for a new lawn, etc.
Description of Work: New front lawn, tree, and several plantings to replace/update after two large trees had been cut down last fall. Update and raise existing sprinkler system (in the front). Re-grade severe problem areas in the back yard, and re-seed, plus re-grade front and side. This was the first time since we had the original landscaping put in 27 years ago that any major work has been done, and we took this opportunity to fix the problem areas that we had been putting band aids on for so many years.
