BSB Asphalt

I called BSB Asphalt to get an estimate for some asphalt resurfacing that needed to be done to a portion of my driveway. I spoke with a representative from this company and explained the work and asked if they could provide a quote. I was told they would come by that night or the next day and leave an estimate in my mailbox...I never received and estimate and never heard from this company again. Meanwhile I called a different company that promptly provided the estimate and completed the work. I don't really understand companies that say they will do something and then just don't do it...why not just say up front that they won't be able to do the work or provide the estimate. I wasted two days waiting for this estimate to come...and it never did! Very frustrating.

After contacting Bernie he made an appointment to repair my driveway within 2 working days of our call. The weather has been getting cool and I was glad he made such a prompt appointment. Monday morning: He arrived at the scheduled time with one of his employees. I did not need to be present and upon returning home form work, found the damaged areas of the drive neatly cut out and removed. Tuesday morning: He arrived again on time, perhaps even early. Again he had several employees with him who were immediately at work moving equipment and one driving a dump truck. When I returned home the second day the areas were replaced and paved smoothly with new hot patch asphalt. I was advised to not drive on it for a few days. Bernie advised me he would return the following week to seal-coat. On the following Wednesday (one week from paving): I came home from work to find the drive was seal-coated and looked fantastic! He had it roped off. I texted him as to when I could drive on it and he promptly returned my text letting me know 24-48 would be sufficient. I am glad I used BSB for my asphalt. Bernie is prompt, polite and reliable. I would highly recommend him to family and friends.
