Ace Custom Painting

The painter's name was Jesse. His first available date was 11/26/14 @ 9 a.m., the day before Thanksgiving. I decided that was OK.The Monday before he is to come he called me and said he had a sick baby and he had to take the baby to the doctor Wednesday morning but should be here by 11:00-11:30 a.m. I told him I was concerned about him getting the room painted in case it need two coats. Fortunately for him, my husband was home and did some of the prep work for him before he arrived. He showed up a little after 11 a.m. and finished the prep work. He did get two coats on it with paint that he had leftover from another job. He sold me the paint cheap, although it wasn't the color I wanted. My husband the color was fine (off white instead of light yellow), as it was our laundry room. (The room had to be painted as another Angie's List vendor I used for a job had to cut into the wall when installing new pipes/electric wires. My husband patched the wall but we couldn't find the exact paint to match the wall so we had to re-paint the entire room!).

Jesse was awesome! My room was twice the size for the deal promotion, so I paid an additional amount. He was great; he even caulked around the baseboards and made them look fantastic! He was very personable! I am definitely getting him back to paint the exterior of my home when the weather breaks. I felt he went well above and beyond my expectations. He was fair, honest, and just spectacular!

Jesse was very friendly. When I called to schedule the appointment he was accommodating. The day if service was our first snowstorm of the year. He called to let me know that he would be a few minutes late. When he arrived he apologized for his late arrival. Frankly I was surprised he made it at all. Jesse made quick work of the room - starting as soon as he arrived. Overall the quality of his work was very good! There was a very small corner section that was a little bit on the thin side that I had to touch up. He also agreed to paint the closet for a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend him.

Jesse was extremely efficient and responsive. He came out to the house around my schedule to prepare a very fair quote, and stuck to it. He did the whole job by himself in less than a full day, without any physical disruption to the rooms. He works very fast and precise and walked me through the whole process just to make sure I was comfortable with the color, coats, selected paint, etc. In the middle of the job, I actually requested that we go to a darker color in the dining room after the first coat went up. Rather than make a whole production out of it, Jesse and I simply worked out a quick solution...I ran to a nearby paint store and bought the new color on his business account while he kept cranking in the other room, and then we "fixed" the color in the dining room without a hitch or additional labor cost. Jesse was flexible ? very personable and friendly. He's hard working and wants to make his customers happy. My wife and I were very pleased with the results and would totally work with him again. I'd recommend Jesse for any interior room paint job you need.

Worked out great. Both Jesse and Brett/Trooper were great! They moved the furniture for us, prepped the rooms (including drywall patches, caulking ) and painted several rooms with the color of our choice. They even painted some of window sills to hide scuff marks and made it look good! They use Sherwin Williams Super paint and it worked out great. Jesse keeps customer first and he was able to fit our schedule even though he recently had a baby and had more pressing duties at home over the weekend!! It goes to show that they are very driven and professional folks and take that extra step that makes them an A+ team. You would not go wrong by hiring this team to work for your painting needs!!

Jesse showed up early and was very responsive and courteous in all of our scheduling conversations. He painted the room quickly and even touched up our caulking to give the room a crisp, clean and well-crafted final look. We couldn't be happier with his time and service and we'll definitely be using him again.

He was on time. Very nice person. Would have him back in a minute if I need painting done again. He did a wonderful job and also hung a mirror for me in the front room. I did not even stay at home while he worked. He fixed the ceiling that needed to be fixed also. You would not go wrong by hiring him to work in your home.

Worked out great. Able to schedule for the exact day I needed it done (before mover delivered furniture). Jessie and Brett were able to get two coats on both rooms quickly and they look great! I plan to use them again next month for the two additional bedrooms.

Everything came out perfect very happy with all the work! He even was willing to give us a deal for some future powerwashing we needed done on the home and deck areas. He was very clean and even helped me hang up some pictures! I would use them again and will refer anyone that needs painting done.

I spoke with Jesse a month ago concerning the offer for painting that was listed in Angie's List. Initially I was planning on evaluating his work before committing to a bigger job. We scheduled a time to meet and he was there at exactly that time. I was immediately impressed with his personality. He was very courteous and outgoing. On my gut feeling I decided to go forward with the entire painting job I had in mind. He definitely knew his business and sized up the job quickly. Explained what he would do and what I needed to do prior to starting the work. He gave me several dates that he would be available and how long he anticipated the job to take. I called a week later with my choice and on the date selected he was there at precisely the time he said. He began work immediately and went about painting. I had to leave for most of the day and never felt worried, especially leaving my dog there alone with him. Lance has fear issues and Jesse was fine with his occasional growls. He got done a little early the first day and decided to paint my front door and the mantle. The next day I had to be at work all day so was never there. I called about 1 pm and he was just leaving. There was no issues. I left the agreed upon moneys and felt good about the experience. When I got home I was very pleased. It looked like a brand new home. His work was on the caliber of the best professional painters I have watched at work. (Cleveland Clinic). Talking to co-workers I realized I lucked out with Jesse-hearing some true horror stories about the painters they hired. I highly recommend Jesse and I plan on scheduling for other jobs in the future. The only negative is that he doesn't list plumbing and electric as services he provides. I have a very busy life and it is a nightmare finding people who are professional, dependable, timely, reasonable and most of all do an outstanding job. If your looking for a painter with these qualities then talk to Jesse; you won't be disappointed!

Jesse is a great guy to deal with - professional and hard working. He did a great job with some rough walls. Wow - it is like a new house. I will NEVER paint again. I did not realize want a sucky painter I was until a professional painted my house

Jesse is an absolute pleasure. From the moment we met him we knew this was someone who would do a good job but more importantly someone we could trust. The end result was above expectation. We feel like were on vacation every time we walk in. It's like a brand new home. We continually try to spread the good work of Jesse. Give him a call and you will feel the same.

Purchased a big deal for $99.00 and had Jesse pain my walk in closet. He was very quick and did a great job. Talked to him further and had him quote other rooms. Hired him to come back the following week for my Dining room and it looks fantastic.

Never heard back from the provider. Its a shame because I suspect their objective in offering the $99 deal was to attract additional business. I am glad I didn't pay in advance for the $99 deal (as required by the deal). If they are so unresponsive, they have less incentive to be responsive after they have already got paid in advance. I don't know how such providers get glowing reviews on Angie's list. I am also a small business owner and lack of responsiveness from a potential customer is a sign of problems.

I purchased a Big Deal for one room of paint. Jesse promptly came to see the job and set the appointment. I was so impressed with his professionalism and personality that I asked him to quote another paint job in my home. His price was very reasonable and he included some extra smaller paint repairs. I appreciated his phone call the day before the work was to be done to confirm our appointment and see if I had any questions. He and his assistant, Bob, were punctual, considerate of my floors (brought shoe covers), and worked well together as a team. They did a beautiful job of filling cracks and nail holes before applying two coats of paint. They actually did more than what we had originally agreed upon to complete the look. It is evident they take great pride in their work! I would give them an A+ rating and plan to refer them to anyone I know in need of paint work. I hope to use them this summer for outside work. This was one of the best Big Deals I have purchased to date. Thanks, guys!
